Standing Triumphantly Against the Spirit of Deception

It’s easy to become overwhelmed with the deception in the world today, sometimes even in the church. If you have the Holy Spirit living inside you, and every true Christian does, it’s easy to decipher the enemy’s attempt to deceive. Sadly, many are falling into Satan’s sly trap.

A favorite tool of the enemy is using words and semantics to hide evil. Here are some examples:

  • Pro Choice” means pro-abortion. A woman choosing to have her baby never calls this “pro-choice.” She says, “I’m going to have a baby!” No baby chooses their own death
  • Women’s Healthcare” is used to disguise abortion where one of the patients, the baby, always dies. Murder not healthcare.
  • Trans rights.” Trans is a concocted word to describe a mentally ill or perverted man or woman who feels they have the right to impose their confusion or perversion on others. They don’t have that right.
  • Immigrants” or “Undocumented” used to disguise illegals who broke into our country illegally.
  • Calling Islam a religion.” Islam is a political deadly ideology whose goal is to wipe out Jews and Christians, and to replace the Constitution and rule of law with Sharia law.
  • Democrat Socialism” is a soft word for Communism. They added “Democrat” so they could run as Democrats in elections. When they win, they’ll drop Democrat and destroy the Democrat party from within.

Democratic Socialists of America have officially adopted a radical platform that includes:

1. Abolishing the Senate

2. Granting full amnesty to all illegal aliens and noncitizens allowing them to vote

3. Replacing the President and Supreme Court with bodies subordinate to Congress

4. Defunding and destroying the Department of Defense, the Pentagon, and our military

5. Ending ICE and deportations allowing open immigration

6. Defunding the police

7. Government control over housing, industry, and private property

The deceived try to defend “Democrat Socialism” as taking care of the poor. Do you see anything about helping the poor in the above platform? Under socialism and communism, everyone becomes poor except for the elites in control of government and the money.

The Democrat Socialists’ plan is to destroy the Constitution and Bill of Rights and replace our Republic with a socialist state.

Already Mamdani, the Communist /Islamist NYC mayor, is calling for a 16% increase in his annual salary and a raise for other senior government officials while not providing any of the “free stuff” and “affordability and “progressive economic policies” he touted in his campaign.

Communists, Socialists, and Islamists lie and only the undiscerning believe them!

People my age lived through the threats of the cold war and Reagan’s famous “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall” between communist East Berlin and free West Berlin. We were taught in school America’s true history and the perils of communism, yet there are actually boomers today deceived by Communist propaganda.

America is no longer in a political battle between Democrats and Republicans. It’s a spiritual battle between good and evil.

The discerning and the undiscerning.

One side believes our rights come from God and government exists to protect us. The other side are atheists who do not believe in God but believe government is the highest power, their god, and your rights are whatever the people in charge decide to let you have.

Ronald Reagan famously and discerningly said, “Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem!” Amen!

They can change the label: Socialist. Democratic Socialist. Communist. National Socialist. Fascist. Islamist. It all means the same thing: loss of individual rights and freedom.

Remember, NAZI stood for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.

USSR stood for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Cuba was sold as a people’s revolution and became a communist dictatorship that generations of people risked their lives to escape.

The point is not that every socialist is Hitler, Stalin or Castro. The point is that every generation seems to produce another group of people who think THIS TIME they can give government enormous power and somehow human nature will be different.

It never is.

Discerning people know Socialism/Communism’s rudder is envy, jealousy, and the desire for power.

Lack of Discernment Fuels Conspiracies

Last week, during the preliminary hearing, we relived the horrors of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Much of the incriminating evidence presented against Tyler Robinson was known last year. Robinson’s confession in person, in letters, and texts. The rifle wrapped in a towel with his DNA. His own parents recognizing him in videos before and after the murder convinced him to turn himself in to the authorities.

Yet, since Charlie’s untimely and tragic murder, ridiculous deceptive conspiracy theories have been highly publicized and believed by the undiscerning.

Conspiracy theories are prevalent against Israel, Iran, Jews, Christians, Patriots, and just about anybody. Before Senator Lindsey Graham’s cause of death was even known, the media and social media was rampant with conspiracy theories.

And that’s the heart of most deception!

Lying, deceiving media that gives voice to the devil and people who should know better like boomers, Christians, bloggers, podcasters, and even pastors falling into the devil’s trap.

How Do You Resist the Spirit of Deception?

Resisting the spirit of deception requires vigilance, discernment grounded in God’s Word, and prayerful reliance on the Holy Spirit.

The Bible repeatedly warns believers about deception. From the earliest chapters, deception is portrayed as a tool of Satan, as seen when the serpent deceived Eve in Genesis 3, leading to humanity’s fall.

The Apostle Paul cautions in 2 Corinthians 11:3 that believers’ minds can be led astray from devotion to Christ, echoing the danger of subtle deception. Paul also instructs in Colossians 2:8 to avoid being taken captive by human philosophies or empty deception, highlighting the importance of grounding faith in Christ rather than worldly ideas.

Jesus Himself warns in Matthew 24:4-5 about false prophets who will mislead many, emphasizing the prevalence of spiritual deception. Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.

The Holy Spirit is essential for discernment, as Jesus promises in John 16:13 that the Spirit will guide believers into all truth. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

Ephesians 6:10-18 describes the Armor of God: the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Tools to stand firm against the devil’s schemes.

Dave and I pray the Armor of God every morning. I’ve often said, I might not be alive today had we not started this spiritual practice when we were first married 33 years ago! I highly recommend you add it to your devotional time if you don’t already.

1 Peter 5:8 tells us . . . “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Sadly, many people you and I know have been devoured by CULTure. I hope and pray it’s not you.

Believers are instructed in 1 John 4:1 to discern whether information aligns with Scripture.
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

It’s important to remember though that even the Devil knows Scripture and people like James Talarico, the heretic running for Senate in Texas, has misused and misinterpreted Scripture. He actually is part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), which is not a church of God.

My Faith Votes “Friday Five” on 7/10/2026 discussed the 226th General Assembly, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) approving a resolution supporting expanded access to gender-affirming medical care for transgender individuals and opposing state laws that restrict such treatments, particularly for minors. The resolution also builds upon the denomination’s recent approval of an amendment adding gender identity and sexual orientation to its constitutional anti-discrimination provisions, pending ratification by its presbyteries.

As Christians, right away your discernment antennae should go up not only against the deception of this denomination, but Talarico falsely portraying himself as a “Christian.”

Unfortunately, there is a growing challenge facing many churches today: whether we will stand on the unchanging truth of God’s Word or allow CULTural pressures to redefine what God has already established.

There’s no redefining or reinterpreting Scripture that plainly teaches God created mankind “male and female” and while every person is worthy of love, dignity, and compassion as one made in His image, we must also lovingly uphold His design for humanity.

The enemy delights in sowing confusion, division, and deception, but Jesus declared, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

Jesus is our discerning guiding light to separate truth from the enemy’s lies.

Psalm 37:1-3 encourages us to . . .

Do not fret because of those who are evil
    or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
    like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good;

Practical Steps to Stand Firm and Triumphant Against Deception

Prayer and Spiritual Warfare: Targeted prayers, especially during quiet or reflective times, can break the influence of deception. Prayers can include asking God to expose lies, dismantle strongholds of deceit, and protect your mind, will, and emotions from demonic influence. Seek the Holy Spirit’s intervention and clarity.

Scriptural Grounding Against Deception: Regular study of the Bible equips believers to recognize false teachings. Being rooted in God’s Word allows you to distinguish truth from lies, even when deception appears subtle or convincing. That’s why it’s vital that Christians read their Bible daily more than listening to the news or scrolling on social media, which can be so deceptive.

It isn’t enough to sit in church on Sundays. If you’re not opening your Bible everyday . . . you will be ripe for deception.

Nehemiah 6 illustrates how steadfastness, prayer, and discernment help resist manipulation and false accusations. Stop right now and read how Nehemiah stood firm against deception. I love the Book of Nehemiah.

Renouncing Deception: Actively rejecting lies, false visions, or misleading influences through prayer and declaration strengthens spiritual protection. This includes renouncing any agreements with deception, whether knowingly or unknowingly, practically or even in your mind. I actually find myself denouncing lies in the name of Jesus that I hear on the radio or TV.

Walking in Love and Truth: Love for others and adherence to God’s truth serve as defenses against deception. By prioritizing Scripture over human opinions and worldly philosophies, believers maintain clarity and spiritual integrity.

However, some are so deceived, words will never change their mind. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. So earnest prayer is the hope they someday see the truth.

Whether the deception is political, conspiracy theories, media propaganda, social media, or even in your family or church, this is no surprise to God. Numerous Scriptures warn us to depend on the Holy Spirit, not the CULTure of the world.

Prayer to Stand Strong Against Deception

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I take a stand against any deception trying to take root in my mind, heart, and soul. I bind every lie and shatter every false vision sent to mislead me. Holy Spirit, search my heart and reveal any area where I have believed a lie, replacing it with Your unchanging truth. Please help me to always walk in discernment, love, and faith, protected by Your Word. Give me Your Words to use when standing firm against the evil of the enemy. I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11) Amen

Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and How It’s Being Destroyed from Within

We were at an 80th birthday party chatting with one of the couples we know from church. They said they were leaving Thursday for Washington DC. I asked if they were going for the 250th celebration and they both excitedly responded “Yes!” They were in DC for the 200-year celebration and said it was fabulous! They’re expecting 250 years to be even more spectacular.

These sweet fellow boomers both show their respect for America by dressing in red, white, and blue from shoes to shirts for all the patriotic holidays. They love the Lord and they love America. So refreshing contrasted with the boomers at “No Kings” protests and other anti-American events. The same boomers who were taught in school the true history of America, unlike the current younger generations.

Our senior generation knows that the celebration on July 4th is about freedom from a real tyrannical king and foreign intervention in our young colonial republic. We’ve also lived through the threat and fall of Communism and should therefore be voting against the Democrat liberal party that is opening the door for Socialism, Islam, and Communism to take away the freedoms so many veterans have fought and died for over the years.

I don’t understand such stupidity and ignorance, but I’ll save more about that for the end of this blog. For now, let’s take a closer look at what our dear DC bound friends are going to celebrate this weekend and many of us will celebrate in our own hometowns.

    What the 250th Anniversary Represents

The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, and in 2026, the nation marks 250 years of striving toward the founding ideals of liberty, equality, and self‑government. The anniversary invites reflection on how those ideals have evolved — and how they’ve been challenged — across generations.

    How Americans Are Celebrating

Across the country, communities are planning events that blend history, culture, and civic engagement:

    • National exhibitions — museums and institutions showcasing the founding era.
    • Local festivals — parades, concerts, fireworks, community gatherings, picnics, BBQ’s.
    • Educational programs — schools and libraries teaching the story of 1776, hopefully.
    • Historical reenactments — bringing Revolutionary War moments to life.
    • Civic initiatives — encouraging volunteerism and community involvement big in our small community.

    I Love This Poetic Reflection

    America rises at 250,
a long breath drawn across centuries,
a nation still stitching its story
into the wide cloth of time.
She stands where history meets horizon—
    thirteen stars grown into fifty,
    a chorus of millions
    carrying hopes that once fit
in a single room in Philadelphia.
    She is contradiction and courage,
    grit and grace,
a restless dream that refuses to sleep.
From the quiet ink of the Declaration
to the thunder of cities that never dim,
from prairies that hum with wind
to coastlines that cradle the dawn,
    America moves—
    always becoming, never finished.
At 250, she does not ask for applause.
    She asks for remembrance.
    She asks for honesty.
    She asks for imagination.
For the hands that built her,
    the voices that challenged her,
the hearts that believed she could be better
    than her hardest days.
And so this milestone is not a monument—
    it is a lantern.
    A light passed forward
    to those who will write
the next verse of her story.
America at 250 is a promise whispered:
    We are still learning.
    We are still striving.
We are still free enough to try again.

    But Will We Remain Free?

A Facebook friend, Debra Tucker, wrote about the threats we’re facing even as we celebrate our 250 years of freedom. There are evil forces from within that want to bring governmental and ideological tyranny back into America. Here are Debra’s thoughts, and I couldn’t agree more . . .

“I’ve been thinking a lot about where our country is headed, and I wanted to share something that’s been on my heart.

I keep seeing the same pattern, and honestly, it looks like a playbook for how to destroy a society from the inside out.

    • You make men weak.
    • You push women to be masculine.
    • You confuse the children.
    • You destabilize families.
    • You make dependency normal — like people can’t survive without the government.
    • You make indecency the standard, and call it ‘progress.’
    • You turn education into indoctrination.
    • You make truth offensive, so nobody can speak it.
    • And finally… you push God out of everything.”

    My Opinion

President Trump issued a dire warning to the nation at The Faith and Freedom Coalition 6/26/2026:

“This is the most serious threat to our country since its existence, in my opinion, 250 years ago… These ruthless communists will attack all religions, but in particular, Christianity.”

Isn’t it ironic, we’re celebrating a very important Birthday, and instead of speaking about Christ, Freedom, and Victories of all different kinds, we’re speaking about yet another threat to the Foundation of America. These ruthless Communists will attack all Religions but, in particular, Christianity—They always do. . . They will close your Churches; they will kill your people. This is what they’re about. This is the Greatest Threat to our Country since its founding 250 years ago!”

Jacob M Wright added a thought regarding President Trump’s speech, “One part he [Trump] misses is the Islamic/Communist alliance. These two ideologies are ultimately diametrically opposed, yet form a tactical ‘the enemy of my enemy’ alliance. Their enemy is the West. Once they achieve the goal of its eradication, only one can win against the other. In the case of Iran in 1979, Islam annihilated the Communists and created the Islamic sharia dictatorship.”

Before some of you might turn up your nose at the mention of our President, how you feel about the President should NOT influence how you feel about your country!

I was appalled every single day of Biden’s stolen 4-year administration, as I was watching America being invaded by unvetted illegals many of whom came here to either do us harm or freeload from our generosity. Liberal ungodly policies were destroying our country, which made me pray harder and help get the vote out to change the trajectory we were on.

I didn’t like the President, because I loved America.

We’ve heard the World Cup guests to America saying on camera how deceived they’ve been about America from the lying propaganda mainstream media. They’ve been told what a horrible country we are and instead they find we’re the land of good and plenty. They couldn’t believe places we take for granted like Walmart and “COSTCO museum.” Free cups of ice and Big Gulps with free refills. One man said in exclamation, “You can buy bread, milk, and an air gun all in the same store!”

They talk about how friendly and welcoming Americans are and the beauty of our cities, “each one like its own state.” They’re constantly pointing out to us how fortunate we are to have the freedoms we enjoy. The very freedoms the voters in New York, Maine, Minnesota and other blue states want to forfeit to Communists offering everything for free, while they take ownership of everything and make citizens slaves to poverty and a godless government.

Be proud of this wonderful country God gave you to live in and don’t be intimidated by those whose brain and heart have been infested with godless hate and envy for the joy in the Lord you’re experiencing.

When someone tries to intimidate you by slinging a slur like Zionist for supporting Isreal or Christian Nationalist for your love of God, family, and freedom simply respond, “Thank you. I receive that and I wear it proudly.” Or “Thanks for affirming me.” Or “Thanks for noticing.”

Don’t take the bait and don’t try to debate. Just take their attacks as a compliment. They won’t know what to say. As the Bible instructs, it’s like pouring hot coals on their head.

“On the contrary: “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12:19-20

Proverbs 14:34 – Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.

We’ll be watching as much of the DC celebration as we can DVR and enjoying a play in the evening of the 4th at our local outdoor theater where we’ll watch an amazing fireworks show around 10:15 PM when it finally gets dark in Idaho.

“God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her through the night with a light from above! From the mountains to the prairies. To the Oceans white with foam. God bless America, my home sweet home!”—God Bless America

How are you celebrating America’s 250th Birthday? Let me know.

Please leave a comment here and I’ll reply.

Why God Created Fathers and Two Grieving Fathers!

Next Sunday is Father’s Day when we honor fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers and maybe men who have been like a father to us. I’ve observed that sometimes we make more of a celebration on Mother’s Day than Father’s Day. Does that happen in your family?

Sadly, many families are fatherless and Father’s Day can be a painful time. More than 20 million children live in a home without the physical presence of a father. Millions more have dads who are physically present, but emotionally absent. It’s been said that if classified as a disease, fatherlessness would be an epidemic worthy of attention as a national emergency.

My father was a California Highway Patrolman killed with his own gun when I was ten. My mother never remarried, so Father’s Day was always tough for me growing up. But I divorced when my own daughter was only two-years-old and I didn’t remarry until she was nineteen and headed for college. So both of us were raised in single parent households without a father. We were one of the statistics.

God’s Plan for Fathers in Families

    Spiritual and Emotional Purpose

Fathers are created and commanded to share God’s love with their children, offering care, guidance, and protection from harm while helping children navigate life’s choices and challenges. They serve as a living example of God’s authority, provision, and protection, showing children how to balance strength with gentleness.

Fathers should be the first heroes a child knows, influencing their emotional, moral, and spiritual development.

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. Pr. 3:11-12

    To Reflect God’s Character

God is described as the perfect Father —a loving, merciful, just, and faithful disciplinarian. Fathers on earth are called to imitate this love and discipline, showing patience, kindness, and correction that builds character imitating God’s character.

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Heb. 12:7-11

    Practical and Relational Roles

God envisioned fathers to be providers and protectors, performing both practical and nurturing tasks. They’re expected to care for the family, make important decisions, and support their children in everyday life—from teaching skills to offering comfort and encouragement. Their presence helps children feel secure and valued, while their guidance and measured discipline shapes character and resilience.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Eph. 6:4

    Identity and Development

Fathers play a crucial role in helping children understand their identity, particularly in terms of gender and personal development. Boys often look to their fathers for a model of masculinity, while girls rely on fathers to affirm their femininity and sense of self. This influence helps children grow into confident, well-rounded individuals secure in how God created them.

If we had more fathers taking on this role in their families, there would be far less identity and gender confusion among children.

The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Pr. 23:24

    Biblical and Kingdom Perspective

From a biblical standpoint, God calls men to fatherhood as part of His plan for building and managing a family, reflecting His kingdom principles on Earth. Fatherhood is a responsibility that mirrors God’s governance, teaching men to lead, nurture, and cultivate a loving household while preparing their children for life and spiritual growth. Raising children to be progressively independent of their parents and permanently dependent on God.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Pr. 22:6

    Summary

In essence, God made fathers to protect, provide, guide, discipline, and inspire, combining strength with love, authority and discipline with care, and practical support with emotional presence. Fathers should be a role model in the family, shaping children’s lives and reflecting God’s character in tangible ways that children can follow in their own lives.

Specifically to boys fathers are created to be the role model of masculinity, leadership, and spiritual as well as physical strength. A father of girls is to be the role model of the kind of husband she should one day seek who treats her with kindness, respect, and reflects godly life principles.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. Ps. 103:13

    The Father of Lies!

Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! John 8:43-45

I described earlier the ideal plan God had for fathers and families. But because of the fall when sin and evil entered the world in the Garden of Eden, our culture often follows Satan the father of lies resulting in abusive, abandoning, or absent fathers.

Maybe you had a father like that and it’s hard to think of God as a Heavenly Father. Please know that God is a loving caring Father who wants to help you carry your burdens.

    God is Our Heavenly Father

The Bible Wisdom Hub has a great discussion of God, the Father, in the Bible. Here’s an overview and would make a great Bible study.

The term “Father” is mentioned numerous times throughout the Bible, carrying various meanings and connotations depending on the context in which it is used. In the Old Testament, “Father” often refers to God as the creator and sustainer of all things, emphasizing His authority, care, and love for His people. The paternal imagery is particularly prominent in the Psalms and the Prophetic books, where God is portrayed as a caring and protective Father to His chosen people.

In the New Testament, the term “Father” takes on a new dimension with the introduction of Jesus as the Son of God. Jesus frequently addresses God as “Father” in his teachings and prayers, highlighting the intimate relationship between believers and their heavenly Father. This relational aspect of God as Father is central to Christian faith, emphasizing the idea of God’s paternal love, mercy, and provision for His children.

The concept of God as Father is further developed in the writings of the apostles, particularly in the letters of Paul and John. Paul speaks of believers being adopted as sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ, emphasizing the spiritual kinship and inheritance that Christians have as children of God. John, in his Gospel and epistles, emphasizes the Father’s love for His children and the importance of living in harmony with God’s will as obedient children.

In the New Testament alone, Jesus referred to God as “Father” around 165 times. This emphasizes the importance of the father-son relationship between Jesus and God in Christian theology. The term “Father” is mentioned over 1536 times in the Old Testament, reflecting the significance of this relational aspect of God’s identity and His role in the lives of believers.

Whether as the Creator and sustainer of all things in the Old Testament or as the loving and merciful Father in the New Testament, the concept of God as Father serves as a foundational theme throughout the biblical narrative, shaping the understanding of God’s character and the believer’s identity as His children.

Overall, the theme of God as a loving and caring father is prevalent throughout the Bible, emphasizing the intimate relationship between God and His people.

    My Earthly and Heavenly Father

In the opening, I mentioned that my beloved father was murdered. The next year, I was invited to a church youth camp where the Pastor’s wife and my camp counselor sat on my cot and said, “We know you’ve lost your earthly father. Would you like a Heavenly Father who will never leave you or forsake you?” They helped me work through my grief and brought something good out of tragedy as I accepted the LORD as my Savior. After all these years, I can still remember that moment of God becoming my Heavenly Father.

I pray that when I go to heaven, I will again be reunited with my earthly father, but I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father watches over me and guides me through my mistakes and victories, heartaches and celebrations, and literally led me to the godly man I married 33 years ago who became a stepfather to my daughter.

One of our grandsons had personalized bookmarks at every place setting at his wedding. On my husband’s bookmark our grandson wrote, “You must’ve been a great father to raise my awesome dad!”

    Two Grieving Father’s Stories!

“𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺. 𝘐𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦. 𝘋𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦.”

Jeff Metcalf, father of Austin and his identical twin Hunter, spoke publicly after Karmelo Anthony was convicted of stabbing Austin to death at a Frisco, Texas track meet in April 2025. Austin was 17. What Metcalf said in the interview was not about the sentence or the verdict.

𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞.

Almost a decade ago, Jeff Metcalf was diagnosed with cancer. Doctors did not expect him to survive. “𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘨𝘰. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘺, 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪g𝘩𝘵. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘴, 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯.”

At a press conference after the murder, Austin’s dad tried to extend a Christian olive branch to the Anthony’s to say he forgave Karmelo and offered to pray with the family, but the Anthonys had the police remove him. The person who lost his son was then harassed, swatted 6 times, and the victim of DARVO, Deny Accuse Reverse Victim and Offender.

Watch this Christian father, Jeff Metcalf, speak to Rob Schmitt on Newsmax after the trial and contrast him with how the father of Karmelo Anthony is reacting.

Here is wise advice from a black man to black fathers, but it applies to every father and parent…

“Dear Black Americans wondering what to tell your sons after what happened to Karmelo Anthony:

This is what you tell them:

Do not be like Karmelo Anthony.

Do not bring a knife to school.

Do not bring a knife to a track meet.

    Do not fight at school.

Do not bully, threaten, or provoke other students.

Stay out of trouble and walk away when you can.

Teach your sons to respect people of every race. Do not teach them to hate white people because of their skin color or because of things that happened in the past that today’s white children had nothing to do with.

Teach them self-control, accountability, and the value of human life. Being angry does not give anyone the right to pull out a weapon.

A school fight should never end with one child dead and another spending years behind bars.

Stop making excuses after tragedy happens. Start teaching our children how to avoid the tragedy in the first place.”—Terrence K. Williams, black comedian being quite serious.

One father will be visiting his son’s grave on Father’s Day, and one father will be visiting his son in jail. It didn’t have to be this way.

“The world needs more kind people in it. And if you can’t find one, then be one.” Jeff Metcalf

PS: There won’t be a Monday Morning blog next week as I’ll be spending time with our son who is coming to visit us for Father’s Day. Have a blessed Father’s Day. Remember to honor and celebrate your Heavenly Father EVERYDAY!

Women and Pastoral Roles in the SBC Debate

When I told an older pastor at Saddleback, the Southern Baptist church where we were members, that I was starting seminary, he hesitated. Then he said, “Well, I guess you could work in a church office.”

That comment perplexed me because I did not intend to ever work in a church office. That was not why I was going to seminary.

I had recently rededicated my life to the Lord, and like many, I thought if I just learned more about God and the Bible, I would find it easier to stay on track with my faith. Little did I know back then, the plans God had for me in the future.

If you’ve heard my story, you know I became a Christian at the age of eleven and was baptized at 18 before heading to college. I was a devout Christian until after my divorce when I ventured out into the world and backslid for seventeen years before rededicating my life at a Greg Laurie Harvest Crusade in Anaheim, California. Shortly after, I married my godly husband Dave. A story for another time, which you can read about on my website.

    Back to my seminary story.

When I registered for seminary, no one had a problem with me being a woman. I wasn’t directed into any particular major, but I did have to pick one. I knew I didn’t want to be a pastor, so I ruled out a Master of Divinity.

As I browsed through the other options, I saw a new major the seminary was offering, a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership. Since I already had an MBA, this seemed perfect for me.

But the MACL major had three tracts and I had to choose one. The choices were:

Youth Ministry—No—Aged out and not my gifting.

Church Office Management—No, but I had a flashback to the pastor that told me this was where I would fit into the church.

Equipping the Laity—that left this one and I’ll admit I had to look up the meaning of “laity”:

    1. Lay people, as distinct from the clergy.
    2. Ordinary people, as distinct from professionals or experts.

I was definitely an ordinary person!

So after three years of taking classes at night while working and a new bride and stepmother, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership, Equipping the Laity emphasis.

    Now what?

I had no idea, but God did.

Again, you can read my “Feed My Sheep” story if you haven’t heard it before of how God led me into starting the Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministry as a layperson leading other lay people in fulfilling the Scriptures that instruct one generation to teach and train the next generation.

Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God. Titus 2:3-5 NLT

One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. Ps. 145:4

As the founder and leader of the Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministry, I never had the title of pastor or minister, but instead I was a ministry leader.

I was not on staff or on the payroll.

I developed and led a ministry that God had plans for far beyond Saddleback Church. As I began to write and speak about how we were having a successful women’s mentoring ministry, churches around the world began starting Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministries from resources that I wrote which are still in churches today 31 years later!

I didn’t need a title or a paycheck to fulfill God’s plan for a ministry that would change the lives and destinies of thousands of everyday women around the world. It was my honor and privilege to fulfill God’s destiny for me by serving Him, my church, and the women He brought into the ministry. The Lord opened doors for me to use gifts I didn’t even know I had to write and speak for Him!

About His Work Ministries was birthed and God provided for our family, even when we were both unemployed! It’s a God miracle story.

Why am I telling you my story here?

Women’s Role in the Church is a Hotly Debated Topic Right Now

The Rev. Albert Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, plans for the fourth year in a row to propose a constitutional amendment at the Southern Baptist convention this week. The amendment would clarify that no participating Southern Baptist church can allow women to serve as senior pastors or even have the word “pastor” in their staff title, or the church will be disfellowshipped, as Saddleback was in 2023 for ordaining women and calling women pastors on their website.

Mohler’s proposed resolution re-states the stance against women as pastors, “to reaffirm that the office of pastor/elder/overseer is limited to men as qualified by Scripture.”

The resolution goes on to give thanks “for the indispensable service, discipleship, evangelism, missions work and ministry contributions of women throughout Southern Baptist life and encourage churches to continue affirming and deploying women in biblically faithful ways.”

It also calls for “pastors to teach and uphold the biblical pattern of church leadership, which includes exemplifying the qualifications of godly character and conduct prescribed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.”

Because of the proposed Mohler amendment at the Southern Baptist Convention this week, my Facebook feed has been inundated with opinions for and against it. Maybe you’ve read some of the various arguments. My purpose in this blog is not to argue or debate the issue but to present some information for you to pray about and decide on your own.

Honestly, I can’t find anything in the Bible that says we should even have denominations! Not to mention denominations with their own rules and guidelines. They all claim the Bible supports their differing viewpoints, which often result in disunity instead of unity.

Since the Bible never changes, how can it be that denominations vary in how they interpret God’s Word?

But the word of the Lord endures forever. 1 Peter 1:25

Since moving to Idaho 15 years ago, we’ve attended a nondenominational Bible Church, but even they have by-laws that members and church leaders dispute. It makes you wonder if God wants us going back to house churches?!

    Should Women Be Pastors?

If you enjoy listening to podcasts, I highly recommend this one with Stephanie Shott and Rebecca Fussell, “Should Women Be Pastors,” where they discuss what the Bible actually says in context. In context, is important. Often writers or speakers, even pastors, use a Scripture to support their point, but in context, it takes on a completely different meaning and intent.

Here’s also an in-depth article by Jill Monaco, “Can Women Hold the Title of and Function as a Pastor?”

I’ve always ascribed to the simple explanation that Jesus is the head of the church. Senior pastors are thus male heads of Jesuschurch, as the husband is the head of the home. I have no problem with that, even though as a single mom for 17 years, I know moms often step into the head of the home role, but that isn’t God’s plan for the family.

I could only find the word “pastor” used in one Scripture, Ephesians 4:11-13.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Interesting that the proposed Southern Baptist constitutional amendment is labeled “Truth and Unity” but it’s fostered disunity. When asked about women podcasters, Mohler, the author of the amendment replied:

“If she is functioning as a pastor, then she is assuming the role of a pastor, and I think that’s what’s implied here. And yes, I do see that as a problem. I don’t think the church should ever lean into offering confusion on this issue, but should lean into clarity. … If this person is functioning with other pastors as a pastor, the title really doesn’t matter all that much. That’s because the biblical conception of pastor is both the title and the function, the title and the role. And so avoiding the title doesn’t mean you’ve avoided the problem.”

That seems extreme to me. Many people interpret the words “shepherd” and “teacher” in the Bible as pastor and yet women in ministry often shepherd and teach as authors, podcasters, speakers, and leaders in the church.

    My Experience

When I was leading a Woman to Woman Mentoring conference in Alaska, a church in the area heard I was coming and asked if I would speak at their Sunday service. I agreed. It was a bit intimidating as the church pastor was sitting in the front row. I can’t even remember my topic, but I’m sure it had something to do with my spiritual calling to encourage everyone to “Share Life’s Experiences and God’s Faithfulness,” which is my tagline and the subtitle of my book Mentoring for All Seasons. That pastor had no problem with a woman guest speaker in his pulpit. I didn’t present myself as a pastor and neither did the church. I would do it again.

I would love to hear your thoughts. When it comes to women pastors are we relying on tradition, denominational constitutions and restrictions, or biblical intent?

PS. I hope you read my blog last week, An Open Letter to James Talarico.

Perhaps you’ll understand where Talarico’s bizarre perverted “Christian” views originate when you read this alarming article. Presbyterian Church Faces Internal Revolt after Proposing Clergy Must be in Monogamous Relationships! This is the Presbyterian Church (USA). The same denomination that Talarico attends, preaches in, and is going to their seminary.

Presbyterian USA not only allows women pastors, they’ve also ordained homosexuals since 2011, allow homosexual marriage since 2014, and allow pastors to be in polyamorous sexual relationships! The progressive Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is facing internal backlash over a proposed rule requiring ordained clergy to be in monogamous relationships, sparking fierce debate and outrage from progressive church committees and polyamorous groups.

Progressive activists within the denomination, including More Light Presbyterians, have aggressively lobbied against the monogamy rule, arguing that it reinforces exclusionary standards and harms the queer community, while pushing for theological studies on gender, sexuality, and relationships instead.

“The Advocacy Committee on LGBTQIA+ Equity also argued that the monogamy rule reinforced White privilege. The group claimed the mandate imposes “a narrow, culturally specific understanding of family” that “privileges a dominant cultural framework over the lived realities of communities of color and global Christians.”

So the Presbyterian Church (USA) is going to vote at their General Assembly this summer in Milwaukee on this “controversial” rule, submitted by the Sierra Blanca Presbytery, stating that PC(USA) pastors must “display moral character” and, “if engaged in any relationship of a sexual nature, living in a monogamous one.”

Promiscuous sex is fine for their pastors as long as it’s just one person at a time, but that’s even being protested in favor of staying with polyamorous sexual relationships!

    Can you even believe this???

    Crazy! Unbiblical! Satanic!

Why even call themselves a church? They’re certainly NOT Christians following God’s Word.

This “Progressive Christianity” professes that “The Bible can (and should) be reinterpreted by each individual and generation in accordance with their views of truth and their cultural and personal needs. The intended original meaning of the biblical text, so we’re told, is either unknown, unknowable, and/or irrelevant.”

The liberals love to make up new terms to accommodate their godless carnal secular views. In my opinion, there’s no such thing as progressive Christianity. It’s satanic heresy and blasphemy. That’s why one gay Presbyterian woman pastor was on television saying she would like to remove pages of the Bible. Of course, those would be the ones calling her lifestyle a sin.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 Tim. 4:3

Now you can see how Talarico comes up with his crazy progressive satanic heretical blasphemy and false teaching. He’s trying to make the Bible justify a godless liberal perverse political agenda just like he was taught at his Presbyterian USA church. Sick and twisted.

So, the Southern Baptists are voting to extend their ban on women pastors to include speaking on faith-based podcasts and the Presbyterians (USA) are voting to require gay pastors to be in monogamous sexual relationships!

Please leave your comments here. I’d love to hear from you.

An Open Letter to James Talarico

I woke up early Saturday morning with James Talarico on my mind. As I tried to go back to sleep, I literally said, “Lord, I don’t want to be thinking about James Talarico!!”

I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got up, made a pot of coffee, and started to scroll on my phone through Facebook as the coffee was brewing expecting to sit down and have my quiet time with the Lord.

But what was the first thing I saw?! The following open letter from Pastor Jeff Mullen to Texas State Representative James Talarico. I wasn’t a follower of Pastor Mullen, although I am now, but one of my Facebook friends had shared this letter.

    I knew this couldn’t be a “coincidence.”

I too have been posting about the false teachings of Talarico who claims to be a Christian pastor and seminary student while running as a Democrat for a Texas Senate seat. What has frustrated me, and maybe you too, is not only the way Talarico twists Scripture to endorse his party’s radical progressive liberal godless agenda, but that many people are gobbling it up because he’s trying to use Scripture to endorse sin.

They’re calling his false teachings “real Christianity” when it’s actually “real satanic.”

What I appreciated about Pastor Mullen’s letter below is that as one Facebook follower commented: “Such relevant insights, written in love while proclaiming truth.”

The only thing that Pastor Mullen didn’t address is Talarico referring to women as “neighbors with uteruses” and that his favorite people are trans children!

Talarico also recently gave the opening invocation as a current Texas State Rep where he addressed God as a “Holy mystery” with “so many names.”

He stated: “The Torah calls you Creator. The Quran calls you Peace. The Gita calls you Destroyer. The Dharma calls you Truth, and the First Epistle of John calls you perhaps the most beautiful name of all, Love.”

My response to him is the Book of John does NOT call Jesus “Love,” and He didn’t call himself Love. John opens with calling Jesus “the Word.”

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Exodus 20:3 states, “Thou shalt have NO OTHER Gods before me!” Talarico must’ve missed that important commandment.

Whether or not you live in Texas, it should upset you as a Christian that Talarico’s blasphemy is being passed off as “Christianity.”

You may be wondering, like me, why the Democrat party would try and run such a controversial candidate in the state of Texas. As I thought about it several reasons came to mind.

    1. The Democrat party before the 2024 election hired a very expensive “Christian” consulting firm to advise them on how to attract the Christian vote since their entire platform is anti-God and anti-Christian. But this firm was actually liberal woke. I remember laughing when I heard this.
    2. The Democrat party is so clueless about Christianity that they think Christians will vote for anyone who calls themselves a “Christian” even though he espouses and stands for the complete opposite of biblical doctrine.
    3. The Democrat party underestimated real Christians who can’t be intimidated, tricked, or manipulated.

The positive that’s come out of the media coverage of the Democrat darling Talarico is that more and more Christians are speaking out with the truth that counters Talarico’s false teaching. Like Pastor Mullen, many on social media, conservative news programs, and Bible believing Christians are countering Talarico with contextual biblical truths.

I hope you’ll read Pastor Mullen’s letter below and share this blog. It will also give you biblical responses when you encounter people who are believing Talarico’s heretical abuse of Scripture.

Remember even Satan knows Scripture and twists it to tempt and deceive.

Here is Pastor Mullen’s Open Letter to James Talarico . . .

    I don’t typically write open letters…

    Dear Representative Talarico,

My name is Jeff Mullen. As a pastor who spent thirty years shepherding God’s people, I have learned that what we believe about God shapes everything else. That is why I am writing this letter.

I do not write as a political opponent, but as a fellow citizen concerned about the growing confusion surrounding faith, truth, and Scripture. Because you frequently speak about Christianity, quote the Bible, and present your views as expressions of Christian conviction, I believe those claims deserve to be examined in light of God’s Word.

One of my greatest concerns is that many people know you are currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary while serving as a Texas State Representative and working toward ordination in the Presbyterian Church. As a result, many people understandably assume that your theological conclusions represent historic biblical Christianity. Your words, therefore, carry weight far beyond politics.

When theological claims are presented in the name of Christ, people naturally assume they are hearing biblical truth. My concern is that some of the positions you advocate may lead sincere people away from the clear teaching of Scripture and toward a version of Christianity that reflects the spirit of the age more than the Word of God.

Over thirty years of ministry, I have sat beside hospital beds, preached funerals, counseled struggling families, and watched countless people wrestle with questions of faith. One lesson stands above the rest: when we drift from Scripture, confusion always follows.

James warns that those who teach will be judged more strictly (James 3:1). That reality has humbled me throughout my ministry, and it should humble anyone who publicly speaks in the name of Christ.

For that reason, I offer these thoughts—not as an attack, but as a pastoral appeal for biblical clarity and faithfulness.

    1. Concerning Your Statement That God Is Non-Binary

God is spirit and transcends human limitations. Christians agree on that. The question, however, is not how modern culture categorizes God but how God has chosen to reveal Himself. Throughout Scripture, God consistently reveals Himself as Father. Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Our Father in heaven” (Matthew 6:9). Christ is the Son, and the Church is His Bride. These are not accidental descriptions but part of God’s self-revelation.

Every generation faces the temptation to reshape God according to its own values. Ancient cultures carved idols from stone. Modern cultures often carve them from ideology. Faithful Christianity begins by allowing God to define Himself rather than redefining Him according to cultural preferences. We do not improve upon divine revelation; we submit to it.

    2. Concerning Your Statement That Other Religions Are Circling the Same Truth

Respect for people of different faiths is a Christian virtue. Surrendering truth is not. The suggestion that multiple religions ultimately lead to the same God stands in direct conflict with the words of Jesus Himself.

Jesus declared, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Peter echoed that truth when he proclaimed, “There is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12). Christianity does not teach that all roads lead to God. It teaches that God has provided one Savior for the world. We can love our neighbors of every faith while remaining faithful to the exclusive claims of Christ.

    3. Concerning Your Statement That the Bible Is Silent on Abortion

While Scripture does not use the modern term abortion, it speaks clearly about life in the womb. David wrote, “You knit me together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). God told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). John the Baptist responded to Christ while still in his mother’s womb (Luke 1:41).

The consistent testimony of Scripture is that unborn children are known by God, created by God, and valued by God. The question is not whether the word abortion appears in the Bible. The question is whether the child in the womb is a human life bearing God’s image. Scripture answers that question repeatedly and clearly. Christians have historically defended the unborn not because of politics, but because every human life belongs to God.

    4. Concerning Your Use of Mary’s Consent to Defend Abortion Rights

Mary’s response to Gabriel was not an assertion of autonomy but an expression of surrender. When told of God’s plan, she replied, “I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38).

The entire story of the incarnation celebrates the acceptance and protection of life within the womb. God Himself entered humanity through the womb of a woman. Mary’s example is not about the right to end life but the willingness to trust God with it. To use the incarnation as support for abortion requires reversing the very message the story proclaims.

    5. Concerning Your Statement That Jesus Was a Radical Feminist

Jesus elevated the dignity of women in ways that challenged the culture of His day. He taught women, ministered to women, welcomed them among His followers, and entrusted women with proclaiming His resurrection.

Yet calling Jesus a radical feminist places a modern political label on One who transcends every political movement. Jesus did not come to advance an ideology; He came to save sinners and establish the Kingdom of God. Every political movement must ultimately be measured against Christ—not Christ against a political movement.

    6. Concerning Your Statements About Biological Sex

Conversations about sex and gender involve real people and often deep personal struggles. Christians should approach them with compassion and humility. Yet compassion cannot require the abandonment of truth.

Scripture teaches that humanity was intentionally created as male and female. Genesis declares, “Male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27), and Jesus reaffirmed that truth (Matthew 19:4). The Christian understanding of sex is rooted not in cultural tradition but in God’s design. Our identity is not ultimately discovered through self-definition but through submission to the One who created us. God’s design is not restrictive; it is wise and good.

    7. Concerning Your Support for Same-Sex Marriage and the Reinterpretation of Biblical Sexual Ethics

Few issues create more tension in modern Christianity than sexuality and marriage. The temptation is either to compromise truth in the name of love or abandon love in the name of truth. Scripture calls us to neither.

From Genesis to Revelation, marriage is presented as a covenant between one man and one woman. Jesus affirmed this design when He quoted Genesis and declared that the two become one flesh (Matthew 19:4-6). The New Testament consistently teaches that sexual intimacy belongs within that covenant.

These teachings are not expressions of fear or hostility. They are expressions of God’s design for human flourishing. The call of discipleship is not the affirmation of every desire but the surrender of every area of life to the Lordship of Christ.

    8. Concerning the Danger of Reshaping Christianity to Fit Culture

The deeper concern behind these issues is the temptation to reshape Christianity so it aligns more comfortably with the values of the age. The Church has faced this pressure for two thousand years. The source changes; the temptation remains the same.

Paul warned Timothy that a time would come when people would seek teachers who tell them what they want to hear rather than what God has said (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The role of Christian leaders is not to make Scripture acceptable to the culture. It is to faithfully proclaim Scripture, whether the culture applauds or rejects it.

During my years in ministry, I learned that God does not call pastors to make Scripture popular. He calls us to make it plain.

When culture becomes the lens through which we interpret Scripture, truth is eventually replaced by preference. The question for every generation is not whether the Bible aligns with the culture, but whether we are willing to align ourselves with the Bible.

    The Biblical Responsibility of Leaders

    Representative Talarico,

Politics is temporary. Elections are temporary. Legislative victories are temporary. Souls are not.

Scripture teaches that those who influence others bear a greater responsibility before God. James warns that teachers will be judged more strictly. Jesus warns against leading others astray. These truths should humble every pastor, teacher, author, influencer, and public servant who speaks in God’s name.

    They certainly humble me.

For thirty years, I stood behind a pulpit knowing that one day I would answer to God for every sermon I preached and every truth I taught. The same is true for anyone who publicly speaks about faith and Scripture.

The older I get, the less interested I am in winning arguments and the more concerned I am about whether people know the truth.

My concern is not your political party. My concern is whether the Jesus being presented to the public is the Jesus revealed in Scripture or a version reshaped by the spirit of the age.

America does not need progressive Christianity or conservative Christianity. America needs biblical Christianity—faithful to God’s Word, centered on Christ, and unafraid to proclaim truth in love.

My prayer for you is the same prayer I pray for myself: that every belief, every ambition, and every public statement would be brought under the authority of Scripture. Because one day neither of us will stand before voters, political parties, commentators, or public opinion.

We will stand before God and give an account.

    Respectfully,

The Thin Blue Line Separating Order from Chaos

National Police Week was observed May 10 through 16 to honor officers killed in the line of duty and recognize law enforcement communities across the country.

You and I are safer because these men and women put on the badge and uniform every day and walk out the door to go to work where they run toward danger while their families pray they’ll return safely at the end of their watch.

The thin blue line symbolizes the police as the barrier between law and order and societal chaos, representing solidarity, duty, and the sacrifices of law enforcement officers.

The term “thin blue line” traces its roots to the Thin Red Line of the 1854 Crimean War, where a Scottish regiment held off a Russian cavalry charge, symbolizing courage and defense against overwhelming odds. The phrase was later adapted to law enforcement, with “blue” referencing the traditional color of police uniforms. Early uses in the U.S. include New York Police Commissioner Richard Enright in 1922 and popularization by Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker in the 1950s, emphasizing the police as the line separating order from chaos.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know my father was one of the fallen who never returned home from his night shift. In 1957, he was a thirty-six-year-old California Highway Patrolman only four years in the force when he was shot and murdered with his own gun by a high school teacher he had pulled over. The rawness of our tragic loss is always fresh in my heart and mind.

What also is tragic to me is the way law enforcement is treated today by the media, liberals, and Democrats who continue to demonize the very people whose job it is to keep them safe. The evolving result of this is that we see victims and their families demonized and murderers elevated to celebrity status.

When my father was killed almost seventy years ago, there was a national outpouring of empathy, sympathy, love, caring, and provision for our victim family. The police force always takes care of their own. My mother, widowed at 30 with two young daughters, immediately had supportive compassionate help from the police force and the community that continued for years. There were funds started for both my sister and me to go to college. Years later, when I run into former grammar school classmates, they still remember my hero father’s unjust violent murder.

Back then, the country and the community was horrified that this could happen to a police officer. There was genuine concern for us and disgust and anger at the man who brutally took my father’s life and left us without a husband, father, and provider.

Contrast that with the way Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, who was mercilessly assassinated in front of thousands of people, has been vilified by the liberal media and social media. Erika was left with two young now fatherless children and suddenly thrust into the position of continuing Charlie’s vision for Turning Point USA.

After the gunfire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 26, 2026, video surfaced of Erika Kirk leaving the Washington Hilton in tears. She had just lived through her second mass-shooting scene in less than eight months. The clip showed her trembling, asking simply, “I just want to go home.”

The mockery started on social media within hours. Senator John Fetterman watched it happen and could not stay quiet. Speaking to Fox News Digital, he pushed back hard.

“It blows. People attack a widow. I mean what’s wrong with people? That’s bonkers.”

Yes, that is bonkers. Mercilessly attacked for what she wears to how she grieves. I never saw anyone attacking how my mother grieved, what she wore, or what she did or didn’t do.

Bobby Orr wrote on Facebook about Fetterman’s comments: “You do not have to share a senator’s politics to recognize the moment. A man who disagrees with Erika Kirk on almost every issue stood up for her because something deeper was at stake. Basic human decency. The simple instinct that you do not kick a woman when she has lost her husband to an assassin and just survived another shooting.

Scripture has been calling for this kind of decency for thousands of years. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” James 1:27

Notice what James does not say. He does not say care for widows who agree with you. He does not say defend widows whose politics match yours. He says widows. Period.

A culture that mocks a grieving wife has forgotten something a Bronze Age fisherman understood. There is no faith without compassion, and no compassion without crossing the lines we have drawn.”

The irony is that this latest man attempting to assassinate President Trump has pleaded “not guilty” even when we’ve all seen videos of him armed with weapons running through the metal detector toward the ballroom. Along with pictures he took of himself previously in his hotel room covered with guns and knives. Then there’s the manifesto graphically stating his intent to not only kill President Trump but as many cabinet members and attendees as possible!

With incriminating evidence like that, in what world can you deny that you’re guilty?

    In today’s upside down culture.

Like my father’s murderer, this man was also a teacher!

    What’s Different Today?

Today, it seems as soon as a murderer is identified, there’s a GoFundMe set up. Not for the victim’s family, like the community did for my family, but for the murderer?

If the murderers or criminals are young attractive men or perceived as marginalized they become “heroes” instead of villains?!

Think about the glamorization of Luigi Mangione who gunned down a United Health Care Insurance executive, husband, and father.

Or Bryan Kohberger who brutally murdered four University of Idaho students in their sleep.

Has our culture completely lost its grip on good versus evil?

Jesse Watters on FOX recently interviewed Dr. Gad Saad about his recent book Suicidal Empathy: Dying to Be Kind.

Dr. Saad said that empathy is a good thing to have in a conversation or situation where you might need to put yourself in the other person’s mindset regarding their actions or opinions. But like anything, misplaced empathy results in something Dr. Gad Saad refers to as “suicidal empathy.”

A description of Saad’s book explains what’s happening in our culture today:
“Suicidal Empathy unleashes a blistering critique of maladaptively irrational altruism that has gripped our culture. This mind parasite hijacked the empathy module of our progressive elite, leading to a catastrophic miscalibration of moral priorities. The results are everywhere: from coddling violent criminals to protecting rapists to branding self-defense as toxic behavior. We are witnessing a civilization in rapid decline. Lunatic policies are instituted because we prioritize the feelings of ostensibly marginalized groups over The Truth, criminals over victims, and squatters over homeowners. This is not humane; it’s an active dismantling of the pillars that keep us safe and free.

For example, recently a young woman who fled for her life from a black man who was chasing her from the subway station refused to identify him to police with the rational that she didn’t want to see another black man in jail! Yet, the same suspect later pushed a 76-year-old man to his death at a Chelsea station.

That woman’s kind of suicidal empathy says you shouldn’t keep felons in prison. They’ve only been arrested 187 times and they deserve another chance.

Ultimately, this ends up with even more people hurt or killed like Iryna Zarutska stabbed to death on a train by a repeat offender. Yet liberal District Attorneys, Prosecutors, and Judges continue to put criminals back on the streets and so-called “sanctuary cities” protect and release illegals to terrorize communities and create chaos. Suicidal empathy!

People might express suicidal empathy with Luigi Mangione killing an insurance executive because in their twisted thinking he got back at the system they hate. Violence becomes justified.

When that type of twisted, hedonistic, lawlessness and chaos becomes the norm, an entire culture is committing suicidal empathy that eventually destroys the culture and the country.

I heard Texas Congressman Brandon Gill say in an interview during the 250 Year Rededicate America Back to God in DC last weekend, that he thinks violence and chaos might actually be the motivation on the political left. That’s demonic!

Here’s the short interview with Dr. Saad if you’d like to listen.

Our God is Not a God of Lawlessness

The Bible consistently portrays lawlessness as a serious offense against God’s moral law, revealing His deep concern, judgment, and ultimate rejection of those who persist in it.

    1. Lawlessness is defined as sin
1 John 3:4 says, “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.” This shows that lawlessness is not just breaking human rules, but rejecting God’s eternal standards.

    2. God’s judgment on lawlessness
Matthew 24:12 warns, “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” This indicates God’s heart is grieved when His people turn away from Him.
Galatians 5:19–21 lists the “acts of the flesh” and declares, “I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” This reflects God’s rejection of those who embrace lawlessness.

    3. Lawlessness as rebellion and separation
2 Thessalonians 2:7 describes the “mystery of lawlessness” as already at work, showing God’s ongoing restraint against it until His appointed time. Matthew 7:21–23 records Jesus saying, “I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.” A clear statement of God’s final rejection of those who live in rebellion.

    4. Lawlessness as the work of the enemy
John 8:44 calls the devil “the father of lies” and the source of lawlessness, showing God’s opposition to the forces that lead people away from Him. 2 Corinthians 4:4 explains that Satan blinds those who reject God’s truth, aligning with God’s desire for people to see and follow His light.

    5. Consequences and warnings
Deuteronomy 28 outlines God’s curses for disobedience, showing His displeasure with lawlessness and its effects on blessing and life. 2 Timothy 3:1–2 describes the end-time “wickedness” that will “consider nothing sacred,” reflecting God’s concern for the moral decay that leads to spiritual death.

Summary of God’s Feelings About Lawlessness

    • Grieved and disappointed when His people turn away from His law.
    • Judgmental toward those who persist in lawlessness, as seen in His warnings and final rejection.
    • Opposed to the forces and influences that cause lawlessness.
    • Hopeful in offering redemption to those who repent and return to Him.

These verses show that God’s heart is toward righteousness, truth, and obedience, and that lawlessness is a direct offense to His character and will.

What Must We Do to Have Another 250 Years of America as a Christian Nation?

May 17, 2026, President Trump declared a day of prayer to Rededicate America Back to God as part of our 250-year celebration.

Rededicate implies repentance. We’ve moved away from being a Christian nation honoring God’s morals and laws.

Can we go back to the way our Founding Fathers envisioned America?

Can we return to the way people reacted to my father’s murder with outrage?

    Punishment for criminals.

Justice for the victims and their family.

Or will we continue sliding into the abyss of suicidal empathy, lawlessness, and chaos?

Only God knows the will of the American people to survive as a free Christian country or fall for Satan’s attempts to destroy us.

Prayer and a thin blue line separate the two outcomes.

Keep Praying. Keep Trusting. Keep Obeying.

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed or happy is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

“The duty and interest of the United States require that they should acknowledge the overruling providence of God.” James Madison

“May every citizen in the army and in the country have a proper sense of the Deity upon his mind and an impression of that declaration recorded in the Bible, ‘Them that honor me, I will honor.’” Samuel Adams

    What Will Be Your Legacy?

Yesterday was Mother’s Day. I enjoyed some of our Mother’s Day traditions with my daughter, two granddaughters, and myself getting a pedicure together. Something we started when the girls were just toddlers. Even though this year I was slightly limited with the surgical wounds on my left leg, I still managed to have a wonderful partial pedicure with the girls.

We also had a lovely dinner together. I brought the family’s favorite Chex Mix for snacks, which goes back to my mother-in-law’s recipe that our kids loved. There was always a big bowl of it when we visited her. I was surprised the next generation, my grandkids, also love this timeless treat! When asked what he’ll remember about family gatherings, my grandson held up the bowl of my Chex Mix.

So Chex Mix is definitely a traditional legacy building memory in our family. Even though my mother-in-law cooked it in the oven for an hour stirring every 15 minutes, which I did too for many years, I now have it done in 10 minutes in the microwave!

I’ve been thinking a lot about legacy recently.

My husband’s cousin Pete’s wife passed away several weeks ago. A godly woman that I, and many, agree epitomized a Proverbs 31+ woman. She was 92 years-old when she went to be with her Savior passing away quietly in her sleep. She and her husband had been married 72 years!! They had 5 children, 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Her name just happened to also be, Janet.

I remember vividly meeting Janet Hermanson over 30 years ago when Dave and I were newly married and attended a family funeral in Iowa where Dave is from and the Hermansons lived. Janet and her husband Pete picked us up from the airport and from the first greeting, I knew I was going to love my new namesake relative.

Janet welcomed me lovingly and graciously into the family and showed me how to make traditional Norwegian cookies, which I never was able to make as good as her. Janet’s warm welcoming kindness and hospitality rooted in her love for the Lord, for her husband, for people, her community, her state, and especially family and extended family made such an impression on me as a new wife.

I remember she had a “wall of brides” with pictures of her five children’s weddings. I was so impressed with this beautiful display of love that when our four children all married, I too created a wall of brides.

Because Janet and her husband Pete lived between Iowa and Arizona, we didn’t see them often, but they would always let us know when they were in our vicinity and we would get together as family loves to do.

Thanks to technology, Dave and I were able to listen to the livestream of Janet’s beautiful memorial service. Tears flowed as her brother-in-law shared fond memories of Janet before he read the verses about “The Wife of Noble Character” from Proverbs 31:10-31 and John 11 where Mary and Martha’s brother Lazarus had died closing with …
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

There were fond memories shared from a son-in-law, and a daughter-in-law who admired all the many gifts of Janet, which she admitted could be a little intimidating. A grandson fought back tears as he shared his memories and those of his sister of their loving grandmother. A son shared how his mom parented with love and clever firm discipline. Many shared “Janetisms.”

One person said it seemed like Janet’s oven never turned off, as she always had her famous lemon bars, lasagna, cookies, cherry pie, and delicious treats coming out of her kitchen. She sewed, sang in the choir, helped others with tax preparation, was a bookkeeper on the farm and often went out in the field to help or drive truck or tractor, volunteered at church, supported 4-H, Sons of Norway, quilted, hosted family and friends, all while raising a family of five and welcoming dozens of nieces, nephews, and guests into her home.

She was witty, funny, spiritual, kind, godly, loved traveling, a loving wife sitting next to her hubby in their chairs even when they were no longer able to be in their home. Her children rose up and called her blessed and her husband praised her.

I could go on and on about sweet Janet Hermanson. Her memorial was a blessing to so many and her legacy filled the church.

    Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

    “Many women do noble things,
but you [Janet Hermanson] surpass them all.”
    30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
    Pr. 31:28-31

When I was sharing this story of Janet Hermanson’s memorial at the Women’s Revelation Bible Study at my church later that afternoon, the leader said she had just gone to the funeral of another Proverbs 31+ woman too!

    Famous Legacies

Joni Lamb passed away last week at only 65. She was the President and cofounder with her first husband Marcus of Daystar Television Network back in the 70’s with the dream of using media to spread the gospel, which eventually became Daystar. A ministry that has blessed thousands over the years and many have come to know Jesus as their Savior. Joni helped build a platform that carried the gospel into homes across the world. She hosted conversations, encouraged believers, gave visibility to Christian leaders, and became one of the most recognizable women in Christian media.

With all the good it did, there was also controversy. But I want to focus here on the memory I came across on Facebook from Brooke Landreth who was a social media marketer and stylist at Daystar for 8 years. I’ve read many memories on Facebook from those who knew Joni, but this one especially touched me. Here is part of what Brooke wrote about Joni:

When I think about Joni, my eyes fill with tears because of the impact she made not only around the world, but on everyone she encountered, including me. Joni was someone whose presence made an impact simply through her ability to see people through God’s eyes. In the middle of the day, when I would pass her in the halls of Daystar, she would stop to give me a hug and always ask me how I was doing, despite wherever she was headed to next.

People were never the obstacle of ministry but truly the goal of ministry! And through her life, many encountered Jesus because of it!

She was a woman who was passionate about spreading the Gospel around the world and took a stand for truth no matter the cost. She brought out the gold in people through the words she spoke. She was a woman of generosity who often gave without expecting anything in return, and the unconditional love and heart she had for her family ran so deep.

I honor Joni for giving her life to the Gospel and for the legacy she is leaving behind. She will truly be missed by so many, but my prayer is that her children and our staff would carry the torch forward to bring Him glory!

I love you, Ms. Joni, and I will see you again in glory!

Charlie Kirk left a legacy of Turning Point USA as his wife Erika and the team carry on today. Charlie and Joni Lamb both have numerous videos and presentations that will be watched and shared for years to come to carry on their legacy, as will many others in public and private ministry.

    Leaving a Spiritual Legacy

“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded.” Luke 12:48

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10

Whether we’re famous or known only to our family and friends, we’re all known to God. Each of us will leave a legacy of what we did with the gifts, talents, and family the Lord gave us while we were here on earth. I like this definition of a “Spiritual Legacy”:

“A spiritual legacy goes beyond material possessions, encompassing the beliefs, values, teachings, and love you impart to others, shaping their spiritual growth and life choices. It reflects the influence of your faith and character on family, community, and future generations, creating a foundation for others to follow. This legacy is often intentional, involving consistent actions, mentorship, and the sharing of spiritual truths.”

A spiritual legacy is the lasting impact of your faith, values, and character on others, especially across generations.

    –Biblical and Faith-Based Perspective

In the Christian context, a spiritual legacy is deeply rooted in Scripture.

For example, Deuteronomy 6:6-7 emphasizes teaching God’s commandments to children, ensuring faith is passed down through generations. The Apostle Paul highlights generational faith in 2 Timothy 1:5, noting how Timothy’s grandmother and mother influenced his spiritual life. Proverbs 13:22 also underscores leaving a godly inheritance for children and grandchildren, emphasizing spiritual blessings over material wealth.

–Key Components of a Spiritual Legacy

    • Faith and Values: Demonstrating the importance of belief and moral principles in daily life.
    •  Acts of Kindness and Compassion: Small, intentional actions that inspire and positively affect others.
    •  Mentorship and Teaching: Guiding others in spiritual growth through example, prayer, and sharing personal experiences.
    •  Family and Community Influence: Passing down traditions, stories, and practices that strengthen spiritual identity and connection.
    •  Global or Cultural Impact: Extending influence beyond immediate circles through service, social justice, or humanitarian efforts.

    –Practical Implications

Creating a spiritual legacy involves mindful living, reflecting on your values, and intentionally shaping your actions to benefit others spiritually.

Spiritual legacy encourages personal growth, strengthens relationships, and ensures that your faith and principles continue to influence future generations.

Whether through prayer, teaching, mentoring, or example, a spiritual legacy is a lasting testament to the life you lead and the values you uphold.

I’ve always said that I pray my legacy to my family is that Mom, Grammie, Great-Grammie loved Jesus as her Lord and Savior and loved her family well.

To my friends, I pray I was as good a friend as you were to me.

To Woman to Woman Ministry and About His Work Ministries, I pray you’re always looking for someone to mentor and someone to mentor you.

For now, I’ll keep on writing this blog and making Grammie’s Chex Mix!

Have you thought about what your spiritual legacy will be?

PS: The above picture was AI generated from the context of my blog. I just shared it here for fun, this isn’t me or my grandkids or anyone I discussed in the blog but look at all the brides on the wall LOL!!

Why Christians MUST Pray and Vote Partisan to Prevent Government Persecution!

I hope I can keep this short since I can’t set at my computer for long. I’ve taken a hiatus from Monday Morning Blogs recently due to surgery on my lower left leg that isn’t healing well and is requiring wound care intervention. It’s especially painful when I sit with my leg down, so I have it propped up on a pillow on top of my office trashcan! Prayers for healing are appreciated since I’m scheduled for a hip replacement on June 3.

Okay enough about me. Let’s talk about the focus of this blog: Pray and Vote for Conservative Biblical Values!

As Christians, we must remain partisan because when the Democrats are in power they will silence Christians even to the point of prosecution. How can I say that? Well read on . . .

    First Pray!

Since our country’s conception, America has been a praying nation. Even when King Charles was here last week and addressed the joint Congress, he acknowledged that America was founded as a Christian nation. We should never minimize, apologize, or take for granted this truth.

I hope you’ll see the new movie “A Great Awakening.” Even though there’s no evidence that Benjamin Franklin, one of the signers of the Constitution, ever became a Christian as hard as his dear friend Charles Whitfield pleaded with him to become one, Franklin understood the power of prayer and initiated prayer in the opening sessions of Congress, which continues today.

To kickoff America’s 250th birthday, on April 18-25, 2026, nearly 500 Christian actors, ministries, speakers, pastors, athletes, congressmen and women, even President Trump from the Oval Office, participated in the reading of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation from the Museum of the Bible in Washington D. C. The Bible tells us that God’s Word never goes out void. I hope you heard some of it. I opened it on my phone, put my phone in my pocket, and listened to this amazing proclamation of the Bible over America.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

May Is the Month of Prayer

Prayer is our language fellow Christians. We talk a lot to each other, but our call is to talk to our Great God. God is always waiting and listening to hear our voices rising to Him in praise and petition.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jer. 29:12

Put These Dates on Your Calendar!

    • The National Day of Prayer – May 7
    • Rededication of America – May 17 (This date is significant. Keep reading)

    What is REDEDICATE 250?

Rededicate 250: National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving” is President Trump and the White House purposing America’s 250th celebration to honor our roots and humbly rededicate our nation back to God as when it was founded.

On May 17, 1776, the Second Continental Congress held a day of “prayer, fasting, and humiliation” just weeks before signing the Declaration of Independence and declaring independence from England on July 4th.

President Trump recognized this important heritage date and at the 74th National Prayer Breakfast last February, he announced that on May 17, 2026, there will be a major prayer event held on the National Mall to “rededicate America as one nation under God.”

President Trump continued explaining that the 12-hour sacred dedication event promises that “In speech, song, and storytelling, we will bear witness to the extraordinary story of how God has powerfully and wonderfully shaped the United States of America — remembering the people, sacrifices, and defining moments in which God has powerfully manifested Himself in our history.”

Now, thanks to President Trump, exactly 250 years to the day, thousands of Americans will come together in our nation’s capital to give thanks for God’s blessings over the last 250 years—and to ask for his protection and guidance as we enter the next 250 years.

President Trump has invited Americans from across the country to come together on the National Mall on that day to pray, praise, and give thanks. During his announcement, he noted a spiritual renewal and rising church attendance in America. He praised this trend declaring, “To be a great nation…you have to have faith” and “you have to have God.”

President Trump continued, “Almost 250 years after our Founding Fathers took one of the greatest leaps of faith in human history…it reminds us that prayers strengthen, prayers heal, prayer empowers and prayer saves,” said President Trump.

“Quite simply, prayer is America’s superpower.” President Trump

While you might not be able to attend these prayer events in person, you can certainly put them on your calendar to watch and pray along too. After all, this is your country we’re celebrating. Our Founding Fathers saw God’s hand of mercy in giving us this great country and we can at least stop for a moment and say, “Thank you God for America our home!”

Why Do I Say Christians Must Be Partisan?

Do you think we would have any of these prayer celebrations at this momentous 250 years if a Democrat were President? If you’re honest, no matter what you might think of President Trump you have to answer, NO! The Democrats are not only anti-Christian, they’re also anti-America.

We would not have had the Bible read over the country and certainly a Democrat President wouldn’t have read 2 Chronicles 7:11-22 from the Oval Office like President Trump did, which includes the well-known verse:

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (Vs 14)

We would not have seen the White House organizing this Rededicate 250: National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving on the National Mall, rededicating our country back to God. If Christians tried to organize it under a DEI Democrat Administration, there would’ve been many obstacles put in their path and much pushback.

How can I saw this you ask?

One of the first Executive Orders, President Trump signed was for his DOJ to investigate the persecution of Christians under the Biden Administration!

The investigation was a direct result of President Donald Trump’s executive order, Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias, which was designed to “immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ.”

“It is the policy of the United States, and the purpose of this order, to protect the religious freedoms of Americans and end the anti-Christian weaponization of government,” the executive order stated. “The Founders established a Nation in which people were free to practice their faith without fear of discrimination or retaliation by their government.”

The resulting 565 page DOJ report released last week was staggering to everyone who saw it as the current acting Attorney General Todd Blanche revealed that a Department of Justice investigation uncovered a “Systematic culture of anti-Christian bias across federal agencies during the Biden Administration.

The report details for example how the Biden-era FBI monitored Catholic priests, and the IRS denied tax-exempt status to a Christian organization based on its religious teachings because they said teaching from the Bible sounded too partisan towards the Republican party!

“What we found in that very deep, substantial report is it was much more than just a rogue agent. It was much more than just a field office or a prosecutor,” said Blanche.

“It was actually a systematic culture issue at the Department of Justice to target Christians, to target people based upon their religious beliefs.”

The findings, published by a Justice Department task force, argue the Biden administration [which we now know was whoever was in control of the autopen] exhibited a pattern of behavior that undermined religious liberty. According to a DOJ press release, the administration used regulatory means to strip protections from people of faith!

“President Biden pushed policies to eliminate statutory protections for religious Americans that interfered with his policy goals,” the DOJ report stated. “Although he failed to change federal law, under his direction, federal agencies used policy and regulatory means to accomplish the same goals.”

The report says the Biden administration labeled parental concerns at school boards as “threats,” called concerned parents terrorists, and dismissed federal workers’ religious concerns about vaccine mandates as “insincere” or “not religious.”

Another claim in the report states, “The Civil Rights Division under President Biden sidelined Christians in favor of preferred constituencies. It published materials suggesting that Christians could not be victims of religious discrimination, only other faith groups.”

The report also showed the Biden Administration went after pro-life individuals and made little to no attempt to prosecute violent attacks on pro-life centers.

President Trump is protecting the rights of Christians that were systematically and purposely stripped of their rights by the Democrat Biden Administration.

If a Democrat EVER gets back in the White House, I believe with the Democrats now cozying up to Communists and Islamists, Christian persecution and discrimination will escalate like we’ve never seen before in America.

There is nothing in the Democrat platform that honors God. NOTHING! Instead, it’s become a godless dehumanizing political power-hungry party, and the Bible is clear that good cannot compromise with evil. The Democrat driving force is “hate Trump” “hate his cabinet” “hate his followers and supporters” and even try to kill them!

There’s nothing in the Democrat platform that is good for God-fearing Americans or any American. At the State of the Union, we watched the Democrats refuse to stand up when asked if their responsibility was to protect Americans. Why would any Christian vote for them? Many are switching parties even in government positions. We can pray that even more will do so also.

So yes, we must be partisan and Vote! Vote! Vote for candidates that you’ve researched and trust. Then support them to win.

Not voting is agreeing to watch the collapse of the country you love and saying it’s okay for the Christian faith to be persecuted, marginalized, and replaced by Communism and Islam, not only for the rest of your life, but that of our children and grandchildren.

Not voting, is actually voting for the party that hates you because you believe in God and the Bible. Christianity is surrender to God’s control and Democrats dismiss and detest this. They want control and power all to themselves. They’re yelling, cussing, angry people who encourage violence.

The manifesto of the man who wanted to kill President Trump and as many of his cabinet as possible at the White House Correspondence Dinner sounded exactly like the Democrat’s and liberal media’s talking points.

Democrats and liberals are trying to instigate and radicalize their followers to do their dirty work. Even their so-called comedians think it’s funny to talk about President Trump’s death. I refuse to call these “jokes” because they’re not funny. They’re sadistic and the fact that people in their audience laugh proves my radicalization point.

We all have primary elections coming up in our states. Christians must vote!

We also must NOT lose the House and Senate in the midterms.

If the godless Democrats, who care more about illegals, trans rights, sexual perversion, indoctrinating children, DEI, abortion, protecting criminals, George Soros, socialism, communism, and Islam than they care about you the American citizen, ever get into power, the good that’s been done by the current administration will be abolished. Christians will be their target once again.

The Democrats have no qualms about using lawfare against anyone who gets in their way, even God. The 565-page report is proof.

Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me [Jesus], they will persecute you also. John 15:20

I’ve only listed a few of the findings proving the Biden Administration’s persecution of Christians. For more details DOJ Releases report detailing anti-Christian bias under Biden from the Christian Post

Easter Is the Perfect Time to Share Your Testimony!

As I was thinking about how to honor Jesus this Holy Week prior to Easter, the Lord clearly told me it’s by encouraging my readers to not only share the reason for Easter, but also what Easter means to each of us personally. Our born-again testimony.

10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,

    “It has come at last—
        salvation and power
and the Kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters
has been thrown down to earth—
    the one who accuses them
before our God day and night.
11 And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
        and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die.
    Revelation 12:10-11

Ten times in the Book of Revelation, John refers to the importance and power of our testimony. In 1 John 5:11, John explains our testimony: “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

I have some questions for you to consider . . .

–When was the last time you shared your testimony?

–How did surrendering your life to Jesus change your life?

    –What’s your born-again experience?

–What sets our faith in Jesus Christ apart from any other religion in the world?

–What does the cross and resurrection mean to each of you personally?

Why Must You Be Born Again to Become a Christian?

Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.” John 3:3-10

11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.John 3:11-15.

Next, we have the verse so many of us have memorized since childhood.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16-18

Those of us who are born again can become complacent about the power of our testimony. As Revelation 2:4 warns, we’ve forgotten our first love when we were so excited to tell everyone about the most important thing that’s ever happened in our life. Yes, above marriage, becoming parents, fame, fortune, position, possessions . . . Nothing compares to salvation and eternal life. Yet, it’s often our best-kept secret.

Just like Nicodemus, people may find it hard to believe our born-again testimony, but it should never mean we don’t tell it anyway. It also means that everyone who calls themselves a Christian must have a testimony.

–No one is a Christian since birth.

–No one becomes a Christian because they were born into a Christian home or had Christian parents.

–Being baptized doesn’t make you a Christian.

–Going to church every Sunday, doesn’t make you a Christian.

–Serving in Christian ministry, singing in the choir, fasting, reading the Bible every day, while all good things, does NOT make you a Christian.

–Believing in Jesus doesn’t make you a Christian. Even Satan believes in Jesus.

Becoming a Christian means being born-again.

Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior believing that He died on the Cross and rose in three days to offer eternal life to everyone who believes and asks for forgiveness of their sins is a free will spiritual act of surrender, repentance, and forgiveness that only Jesus offers. No one can make this decision for you, and no one can force you to make it.

–Becoming a Christian is between the Lord and you.

When you surrender your life and heart to Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes into your heart, mind, and soul. You’re supernaturally born again!

You might’ve asked Jesus to come into your heart in the silence of your home or in a stadium full of people. Maybe praying for salvation in church or with a relative, friend or mentor, or watching a sermon on television or reading a tract or the Bible. It doesn’t matter where you are or whether someone led you in a prayer.

For some people this is a quiet sacred moment, and others feel the ground moving under their feet. Some will weep. Some will laugh. Some may break out into song. Some know a change took place, but there wasn’t lightening or a noticeable outward sign, it was all within your spirit. That’s because God made us each unique with different personalities and responses, but every Christian has a testimony of accepting Jesus’ free invitation of salvation.

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 14:5-6

    My Born Again Testimony

Every time I speak at a conference or women’s retreat, I share my testimony. I also have “My Testimony” on my website with the heading “Born Again” and a picture of the summer camp I was at when I gave my life to Christ.

Like many of you, I also experienced backsliding years. I share that story on my website also and in many of my books of rededicating my life to Christ and being called into full-time ministry and writing.

Share Your Story—Make It Your Testimony

In Forsaken God? Remembering the Goodness of God Our Culture Has Forgotten, I stress the importance of remembering and sharing our testimony. Here are a few excerpts from chapter Twenty-Three, “Remember His Commission.”

“Your spiritual journey is your testimony that describes your life before you turned it over—or returned—to God and how you’ve transformed into a new creation in Christ.”

“You may not think you have a testimony if you’ve been a Christian most of your life and life has gone smoothly for you. Well, that smooth life didn’t just happen. God has been walking beside you guiding your life every step of the way. That’s your testimony to others who worry about losing something by turning their lives over to God. You are a living example of how good God really is!

But if you have a hidden past you’ve been too embarrassed to talk about, now is the time to deal with those buried hurts and hang-ups. . . God can use every experience for good, but not if we don’t let him. The Bible tells us “the wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23), so hidden sin holds us in a death grip that silently destroys us spiritually, and often physically, from the inside out. Exposed sin loses its power. We don’t have to waste energy and emotion worrying about others discovering our past. We can ‘thank God we’ve started listening to a new master, one whose commands set us free to live openly in his freedom’ (personalized from Rom. 6:18 The Message).

Think back to an experience where you know it had to be God who rescued you and how you might make that a testimony of his goodness . . .Every time you give God the glory for something in your life, you testify to God’s goodness. Your salvation testimony shares your life before Jesus, how he changed your heart, and how he spiritually saved your life. God has given you a story to share for his glory, so seize every opportunity to praise him and encourage others. I like this saying: sometimes God redeems your story by surrounding you with people who need to hear your past so it doesn’t become their future. When we don’t share our story, we don’t share his story.

You must be willing to share how God helped you through difficult times, and that requires vulnerability, approachability, and responsibility. It’s your witness to his faithfulness. It’s the opportunity to give purpose to a crisis. Otherwise, you might spend your life feeling sorry for yourself—living as a victim instead of victorious. Revealing is the first step to healing.

Your story becomes your testimony when the focus is on God and not on you. Don’t tell graphic details of anything to make someone else or you uncomfortable. It’s not a tell-all, and it’s not a time to tell someone else’s story. Stick to details that pertain to you. Don’t dramatize how bad you were; characterize how good God is!

If you haven’t written out your spiritual testimony here are some tips. Think of it in five parts:

    • Your life before Jesus.
    • How, when, why you realized you needed a Savior.
    • Making the commitment, or recommitment, and surrendering your life to Jesus.
    • The change in your life since becoming a Christian.
    • What being a Christian means to you.

In Psalm 71:15, the psalmist admits he’s not sure if what he says will help, but he’ll tell his story and let God choose how to use it: “My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long—though I know not how to relate them all.” Some people may reject or rebuff your testimony. That’s not a sign to stop telling it; you plant a seed, and God does the watering. Peter reminds us always to be ready to share our testimony.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:15-16

So don’t worry about how God will use your testimony, or how someone will receive it. Just be willing to speak up when you feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit, and He’ll use it for God’s purpose. Sometimes it will be in a spiritual setting, other times when you least expect it. Be ready to share with or within . . .

Your Testimony Is Your Witness That Jesus Christ Lives!

Where does God want you to share your testimony this Easter, or anytime, and who needs to hear it?

Who needs to know the reason for your hope?

If you’re reading this blog and have never asked Jesus to come into your heart and been born again, here’s a prayer to pray if you’re ready now.

    Salvation Prayer

Dear Jesus, I know I have sinned in my life and I want to tell you how sorry I am and I want to repent and change my ways. I ask you now to forgive me and cleanse me of those sins. Jesus, I want you to come into my heart and take residence there. I believe you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to pay the price for my sins and then rose again in three days to offer me eternal life. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit and your love. Lord, I give you my life—make me a new creation in you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

If you prayed the Salvation Prayer: Welcome to the family of God! God just wiped away your past sins and gave you a clean slate. You have been born again into a new life in Christ. Congratulations! Celebrate and tell others about the decision you just made to become a follower of Jesus Christ—it’s your testimony. You’re ready to grow and mature spiritually. Happy first Easter as a new believer.

To all my readers I leave with you this message from the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:4-9:

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Note: As I’m writing this blog on Sunday 3/29/2026, President Trump has released a copy of a letter sent to him by Reverend Franklin Graham. I share it below as confirmation of everything I’ve written in this blog about how we become Christians.

In my blog last week, We’re One Nation Under God NOT Allah!, I said that the Christian faith is the only religion with a living spiritual Savior who died and rose again to offer us eternal life with Him. Jesus lives within the heart and soul of every Christian believer!

Please leave a comment here. I appreciate hearing your thoughts on my blogs.

We’re One Nation Under God NOT Allah!

This might be my most important blog so far in 2026! I hope you’ll read and share. Ignorance of what’s happening in our culture today is not bliss it’s foolish!

“My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6

I was shocked when I saw on Tucker Carlson’s Facebook page what he posted from his podcast monologue on March 17.  “If you’re having trouble remembering the last time we killed a religious leader, it’s because we haven’t killed any religious leaders, at least not openly, because we don’t want to start religious wars, because they’re hard to fight and very hard to resolve.”—Tucker Carlson

Tucker was calling the brutal tyrannical Ayatollah who killed Americans and thousands of his own people simply a “religious leader!” Iranian “religious leaders” just publicly hung a nineteen-year-old Iranian Wrestling Olympian and two other teenagers who dared protest the current regime. That doesn’t sound “religious.” That’s barbaric tyranny!

Here was my comment on Tucker’s Facebook post:
“He’s calling the man who killed and tortured thousands of his own people and wants to do the same to Americans a “religious leader”? Seriously?? Islam is NOT a religion it’s a tyrannical death cult ideology. You would think someone like Tucker would know the difference between a religious leader and a pathological tyrannical killer.”—Janet Thompson

Tucker Carlson recently told the story of having a nightmare where he struggled with a monster in his sleep and woke up with scratch marks on his body. I’m wondering if he wasn’t struggling with a demon and the demon won. Tucker has been off the rails on Israel and Iran along with many other topics. This blog is not about Tucker, but if a once intelligent, investigative journalist that many of us admired when he was on FOX News could be so deceived, it’s no wonder that many Americans are also.

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual force of this world rather than on Christ. Col. 2:8

New Yorkers who voted for a Muslim Islamist Communist are paying the price for their deception.

There are so many things I’m learning from my study of this false “religion” and its followers’ goal of making Islam not simply the dominate religion in the world, but the dominate government!

That’s the irony of the Biden Administration so hungry for power that they would let in millions of undocumented Islamists into the country thinking that they would all vote Democrat. They might actually do that in the beginning, but only long enough to get themselves into power and then they would dismiss all the ignorant Democrats who won’t know what hit them . . . maybe even literally.

What Democrats and Islam have in common right now is that both reject God and His Son Jesus Christ. The left wants to strip Americans’ identity by telling them you can be your own god and be whatever you want to call yourself. You want to be a woman, put on makeup and a dress and invade women’s sports. You want to be a cat. Put on a tale and pee in a litterbox.

The left’s power comes from breaking Americans into adversarial identity groups that go to war against each other. Whites. BLM. Jews. Palestinians. White liberal women. Suburban women. Gays. Trans. Evangelicals. “Progressive Christians.” On and on . . .

    Disunity instead of unity.

When everyone can be your own god, Islam fills the gap. That’s why Islam is partnering with the left’s godless progressive liberal platform and not the conservative right which believes we are a country founded on Judeo/Christian values. The left and Islam both reject this premise.

In last week’s blog, FlashPoint Where Faith Meets Current Events, I pointed out that Democrats are embracing an unlikely partnership with Islam to try to block Christians’ political influence. Another unusual partnership “Queers for Palestine” are opposing twin demonic spirits. They link up around their mutual hate for God and the West with the same goal of destroying Judeo/Christian values. This draws two forces together that have nothing in common. In Palestine and Iran, the queers would be thrown off buildings, and they still will be when Islam is finished getting their votes.

Because of this alliance, President Trump is right when he says after the “death of Iran,” the Democrat party is America’s “greatest enemy.”

Islam Is NOT a Religion. It’s a Death Cult!

In the early 7th century CE, Islam was founded by Muhammed ibn Abdullah, a pedophile who at age 54 married a six-year-old and consummated the marriage when she was nine! He had eleven wives and dozens of concubines. He supposedly was a “prophet” who received divine revelations that became the Qur’an. Reading the Qur’an, that “divine revelation” is obviously from Satan.

Any pseudo religion founded and spearheaded by a mere person is a cult, not a “religion.” Islam is a death cult that kills its own people and the “infidels” who don’t succumb to Islam. Muhammed died. Jesus Christ died, rose again three days later, and lives today to save people from eternal death.

Not every Muslim is radical, but all Islam is radical. Islam is incompatible with the West. There’s no “moderate Islam.” The Qur’an is radical.

“There is no radical Islam—Islam is radical.”—Gene Bailey, FlashPoint

Islam is 50 years into a 100-year plan to take over the world.

Islam is a political ideology masquerading as a religion. They hate the Jews because they are proof that God exists which is why Jews come under attack so often. Islam’s goal is to first takeover Israel the “little Satan” and then America the “big Satan.”

Iran isn’t just the center of a nuclear threat; it’s also the center of Islamic terrorism. President Trump working with Israel to dismantle the Islamic regime is protecting America from physical and governmental threats from the outside. But thanks to Biden, there are Islamists inside America and sleeper cells just waiting to be detonated.

Before the takeover by Islamists, Iran was a free democratic nation. A tragic example of what happens when citizens don’t recognize the enemy from within as Texas state representative Nate Schatzline points out in the above meme.

Islam’s goal right now is to get 10% of our population radicalized. Their biggest test targets are Texas and California. In Texas alone, there are 48 new mosques in the last two years and they’re trying to build self-contained Islamic communities. Texas just had to put on the ballot that Sharia Law isn’t allowed in Texas, but there are states like Minnesota where it’s already happening. Even here in Idaho, we passed a law against Sharia Law in our red state.

The top 10 Muslim populated states are New York, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas, Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Check out your state here.

Mosques aren’t churches like we know church. They are command infiltration centers preparing for war against the innocents in our country. You, me, and our families. They actually store their arms and ammunitions in the mosques and brag about how many church buildings they’ve bought and turned into mosques to worship Allah, not God.

They are literally Islamic Nationalists with the goal of Islam overtaking and ruling America. Yet, the Democrats call us Christian Nationalist because we want a country that honors the Constitution and God. We’re not looking to make America a theocracy, but Islam is focused on doing exactly that only their god is Allah and they want to replace the Constitution with Sharia Law.

The Democrats Are Actually Helping Islam!

Pay attention to how many Muslims are running for office as “Democrats.” In the November 7, 2025, election, 42 Muslims were elected to public office! The fake news celebrated this as “Political inclusion . . . The rising participation of Muslims in politics represents a shift from marginalization to empowerment, signaling a new chapter in America’s democratic story.”

That should alarm the reader who understands the goal of Islam in America.

Islam is an Arabic word that does not mean peace it means submit and only naive or uniformed pastors, Christians, and politicians would not know this. There’s only peace in Islam after everyone submits to Islam’s empowerment.

Only one faction of Islam is religious. They have no separation of church and government. The “church” is the government, and Iran is a perfect example. That’s why Tucker’s comments about a theocratic militant regime that’s intertwined into every aspect of life was so ludicrous. Dare I say, ignorant.

Islam is diametrically opposed to our Constitution and to Christianity. Islam cannot co-exist with either one.  Muslims will use parts of our Constitution like “freedom of religion” and pretend to be a religion to advance their cause. They will even pretend and lie to agree with our Constitution until they get into power. Mamdani is a perfect example.

Holy Lying” or “Sacred Deceit” is called “Taquia” in Islam. No matter how smooth and nice they might sound, the Qur’an tells them lying to infidels (us) is permissible to achieve the goals of Islam. So everything Mamdani, or any Muslim candidate, says in their campaigns are lies masking their intentions. They feel no guilt, remorse, or need to apologize. You can’t believe anything they say!

The Democrats are the same. Look at Virginia Governor Spanberger who ran as a moderate and no sooner did she take the oath then she turned hard left. That’s why Islam feels comfortable partnering with Democrats . . . for now until Islam doesn’t need them anymore.

What legitimate “religion” honors lying to achieve goals instead of telling the truth? That has other gods besides The God? That murders anyone who doesn’t submit to their beliefs? Islam is diametrically opposed to Christianity and the Constitution.

    How Islam Gains Power

There are three phases to Islamic takeover, which you can readily see is already happening in Egypt, European countries, and Australia. America is next.

    1. Claim minority status.
    2. Claim grievances.
    3. Cry victim. You need to help us because we’re being disadvantaged in some way. Think Muslim Illhan Omar and the Somalis.

Then they take power over the jurisdiction. When they infiltrate and grow in all areas from schools, justice /law system, business, commerce, medical field, politics, government. . . they soon dominate and then claim majority status.

    Muslims: Immigrate. Agitate. Infiltrate. Dominate.

Ethnic Hispanics are turning to Islam in TX and CA. Islam gives them license over the “white man.” Islam has prayer beads and honors Mary, which is familiar to Catholics who often haven’t read the Bible so they’re ripe to read the Qur’an. Islam does not recognize or believe in Jesus.

Christians Must Be Equipped with the Truth!

Pulpits need to present the truth that there is only One God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. His name is Yahweh. If you ask Muslims, “What’s the name of your God?” They answer, “Allah,” which is god in Arabic. They don’t know who their god is.

”It’s not a religion, but a political system run by terrorists. It is designed to overtake and control every other civilization.”—Terri Bailey FlashPoint

We need pastors and Christians walking in courage who aren’t afraid to talk about our role as Christians in today’s dangerous culture. Islam is strong in their evil intensions. Weak Christianity will fall and fail. Paul warned there would be those who talk like us, sound like us, but they’re weak and deny the power we have in Christ. No operational Holy Spirit in their life.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 1 Tim. 4:1-2

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. 1 Tim. 3-5

We can’t go to church without intending to do what we hear. Pray before church and when reading your Bible, “Lord speak to me.” Go to church expecting to hear God. Uncompromised. Leave with a winsome boldness for sharing and living the Truth to overcome the lies of the world.

God will use the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 1 Cor. 1:27

The church is where the battlefield begins. Christians must remember that we serve God alone. We can’t mix with or “tolerate” other beliefs and religions that want to destroy Christianity and our country. Satan puts on many faces but his main goal is always to steal, kill, and destroy. We must remain vigilant and wise.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

I’ve given you a lot of information. Not to scare you, but to make you vigilant and wise. This is a spiritual battle and if you live by the Holy Spirit you are in the battle, whether you want to or not. We fight this battle not for ourselves but for our children and grandchildren. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
