FlashPoint Where Faith Meets Current Events!

Today’s Monday Morning Blog is going to be a bit different. Dave and I had the opportunity to attend FlashPoint Live Boise March 12-13, 2026, and I’m going to share some of the highlights with you.

If you’re not familiar with FlashPoint, here’s a summary of their weeknight broadcast where host Gene Bailey always closes with: “We’re always to the right of center.”

It isn’t a joke that much of mainstream media spouts nothing but Fake Anti-Trump news and sadly many gullible viewers believe their unverified, distorted, biased, liberal leaning lying commentaries. Even  FCC chair Brendan Carr warns broadcasters must ‘correct course’ on ‘news distortions’ before license renewals!

That’s why we get our news with the truth and a biblical perspective at FlashPoint.

We’re also looking forward to going to Israel with FlashPoint at the end of next month and I’m sure I’ll have much to report from there. Please pray for us as this trip is still going forward. For now, let me share some important points made during Flashpoint Live Boise.

Israel

—Ezekiel 12 tells us that the devil hates God, His People and Israel. Podcasters like Tucker and Candace Owens are dipping into the occult as they speak against Israel.

—The conflict in Ezekiel is a war of conquest, but there’s also hope of redemption because God Himself will awaken the earth.

–Trump is the Great Interrupter!

What you don’t occupy will be occupied against you!

–Example the Boy Scouts have been going “spiritually gay for a while.” They’re now offering Scouts an “Islamophobia Awareness Month Badge (IAM)” in collaboration with the Muslim Scout Fellowship. Scouts learn about Islam and connecting Scout and Islamic values!

–We’ve traded righteousness and truth for tolerance and apathy. We need to be less tolerant of evil and more direct and intolerant of sin like Jesus who was divisive!

—Tolerance comes from Satan. Tolerance=acceptance=gottcha dominance.

—Satan and his minions only attack what he’s afraid of which is why the enemy is going after children [I wrote about this last month The Devil Always Reveals What He’s Afraid Of]

–Demons attack the church wherever we’re tormenting them.

–Wherever there’s a spiritual vacuum, a demonic imposter rises up to fill the void. Education is a perfect example as students are being taught to hate America, each other, and the body God gave them. [I wrote about this last month too. Only Jesus Can Fill the Spiritual Vacuum!]

—Pietism in the church says Christians are supposed to remain separate from culture. That’s not biblical. We’re to be in the world to make disciples, but not of the world. When we give up ground, Satan grabs it. We all have spiritual gifts. When we fail to use them to occupy for Christ, Satan steps in and takes ownership.

—The spiritual battlefield is whatever your gifts are wherever your giftedness takes you! You have to disturb the peace of complacency. If you believe in something, you have to do the hard things even when it’s not popular.

—The Democrats know that much of MAGA are Christians and 70% of Trump’s cabinet is Christian. They also know that 30% of Christians don’t vote because they’re fooled by pietism thinking it’s not our job to get involved we’ll be raptured anyway. The Bible doesn’t support Christians not taking ownership of the culture. [I wrote last week about the liberal left trying to promote a fake faith twisting the Bible to match their liberal ungodly platform. Christian beware! We’re Living in the Birth Pangs of the Endtimes]

—Wherever hell has the most influence, the church must be involved. Go Ye into the culture to take territory for Christ. Like Moses had help holding up his arms while Joshua went into battle to claim territory, the church should be supporting those who are on the spiritual and political battlefield.

—Don’t be preoccupied—occupy!

—Age doesn’t restrict you from getting involved for the Lord. Wherever your passion is, God can use you. Maybe as an intercessor.

Islam

–We’re inviting wolves into our domain by not standing against Islam.

—Democrats are embracing an unlikely partnership with Islam to block out Christians and their political influence.

–Another example: “Queers for Palestine” are opposing twin demonic spirits. They link up around their hate for God and the West with a mutual goal of destruction of Judeo/Christian values. That’s what draws two forces together that have nothing in common. In Palestine, the queers would be thrown off buildings and they still will be when Hamas is done with them.

—Islam is incompatible with the West. It’s a death cult.

–We have no agreement with Muslims.

—A reply to the “islamophobia” argument you might receive: “In America we have Christian freedom. Name an Islamic country where we could go and practice Christianity?”

—A reply to you’re supposed to love your neighbor: “There’s nothing in the Bible that says we’re to tolerate sin or evil that subverts the public good.”

—A reply to you’re intolerant and not accepting: “There is only One God and the 10 Commandments tell us to have no other gods but our God.

—How do we say no to today’s culture? We refuse to tolerate ideologies that oppress Christianity. Islam is a political oppressive ideology masquerading as a religion to take advantage of “religious freedom” in America. What if MS13 says it’s a religion? Would you say we have to honor it as a religion?

–Is there any Muslim nation people are trying to get into?

Iran

—Trump is the providential leader raised up by God to take down tyrannical rule in Iran.

–The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero;
    he will come out like a warrior, full of fury.
He will shout his battle cry
    and crush all his enemies. Isaiah 42:13 NLT

—We’re in a season of fear vs faith.

—Christians need to focus on what God is doing NOT Satan.

—Cowards are the first people thrown into the lake of fire in Revelation 21:8.

—Fear comes from lies.

—Trump is our era’s Elijah as he calls out false prophets of the lying fake news, which tries to invoke fear. The devil dominates through fear.

Keep America Great By Keeping It Good and Godly!

—As the dark gets darker, the light gets lighter (2 Tim. 3)

–Jesus’ kingdom is here on earth with Christians who are occupying now. The closer Jesus gets to earth, He’s invading Satan’s darkness which pushes Satan closer near his end.

—Be expectant! Heaven’s closer than it’s ever been!

—Learn how to say “Yes” to saying, “No” to anything that goes against the sovereignty of God and America. As Americans, we accept no other gods but God, and no other rules and laws of other countries here in America.

–We say “No” to our kids doing harmful or wrong things because we love them.

—We must learn how to say “No” to anything that offends God or threatens America!

Respect and Appreciate the Men and Women Who Keep Us Safe by Enforcing the Law

There’s so much on my heart and mind to write about that it’s been difficult to focus on one topic as I prayed about this week’s Monday Morning Blog. As my daughter Kim said, “Mom, it seems like every day there’s something new they’re protesting about.” She’s right. Events are coming at us so quickly that we can barely process before another one happens.

The federal government’s actions focused on making America safer and greater, instantly result in antagonistic anti-American protests by groups of people brainwashed, trained, and paid to not just protest but to interfere with and impede anything President Donald Trump sanctions, even when it will make their own lives better and safer. TDS is a mental and spiritual illness that is literally getting people killed!

First amendment civil protesters allow themselves to be arrested in order to emphasize just how important their cause is to them. Generally, with minimal or no harm to police and bystanders. Today’s protests, particularly in so-called sanctuary states where local government and law enforcement won’t work with federal ICE agents, aren’t rational, logical, peaceful, or civil! They’re often violent and dangerous. That’s how you know they’re fueled by Satan the father of chaos, lies, and confusion. Yes, hypocritical insane dangerous protests like the following are criminal and satanic:

  • Burning Tesla dealerships and keying Tesla cars that the Biden Administration and blue states like California were trying to force everyone to own. But when Tesla founder Elon Musk started finding graft and fraud in the swamp with DOGE, Democrats did an about-face and protested the very cars they had been promoting.
  • Protests on college campuses against Israel and Jews while endorsing sadistic Hamas terrorists.
  • Protesting the prevention of fentanyl coming into America that’s killing children and adults.
  • Protesting the capture of a brutal dictator like Maduro who the Biden administration had put a bounty on for his arrest.
  • Protesting making neighborhoods safer for themselves, their families, and neighbors. Impeding ICE from capturing criminals, monsters, violent gang members, terrorists, murderers, illegals, and child molesters who invaded our borders un-vetted under the Biden Administration and endanger every American.

The burning question: who is Satan using to finance these violent criminal protests with terrorist-like training and pay?

National Law Enforcement Appreciation

Did you know that Friday, January 9th was National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day? With all the news in Minnesota, tragically this day was severely neglected, and I didn’t see much appreciation. I barely saw anything about it on social media and heard nothing on the news. And yet, these men and women devote their very lives to saving and protecting our lives. National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day was established in 2015 by multiple organizations to publicly express gratitude for officers across the United States. One of the leading organizations behind the initiative is C.O.P.S – Concerns of Police Survivors. According to the group, it’s essential that officers know their demanding career path is recognized and valued by the people they serve.

Many of you know that my father, Officer Robert E. Reed, was a California Highway Patrolman killed with his own gun in the line of duty by someone he had pulled over for going the wrong way on the freeway. My father gave his life to save others, which is a possibility all law enforcement officers encounter every time they put on the uniform and go out the door to protect their fellow citizens.

In the case of ICE and Border Patrol Officers, they’re protecting you, me, our loved ones, and even the protesters and their families from people the Biden Administration indiscriminately let into our country knowing that many countries like Venezuela were opening their jails and prisons and letting out the worst of the worst to freely cross into our country. How does anyone think Tren de Aragua and MS13 gang members and other criminals with rap sheets in their own country got into our country? Most of them didn’t hop on a plane and pay their way to get here, they illegally were let into our country to terrorize and even kill our citizens.

The last administration refused to follow the border laws because they wanted to unjustly infiltrate in a voting base since they couldn’t get patriotic American citizens to vote for them and their ungodly policies. That’s why the Democrats and mainstream media are fighting so hard against the commonsense justice of deporting and/or arresting illegals many of whom have continued their crime and fraud sprees against innocent American families.

Well, we’re about to find out who is funding this domestic terrorism as Vice President JD Vance announced in a Press Conference last week, a new position in the Justice Department, an assistant attorney general. Hopefully, in addition to investigating fraud across the nation, they’ll also unveil bad actors training and paying American citizens in anti-ICE training centers to harass law enforcement officers by throwing rocks, bricks and ice, even Subway sandwiches at them. Using personal cars to block or ram into ICE vehicles and even ICE agents. Yell, spit, and hit officers, blow whistles, make noise when their trying to rest, dox and threaten their families.

Anti-ICE training centers remind me of Hamas and Islamists suicide bomb trainings. The indoctrination of Americans participating in this domestic terrorism brainwashing can be lethal, like the woman in Minnesota who instead of following law enforcement orders to get out of her car, was told by her lesbian partner to “drive baby drive” to get away aiming straight for the ICE agent in front of her. The partner was filming it all like she was making a documentary maybe to post on social media or send to the training center to prove they’d earned their pay! That’s my speculation, but even the partner was crying that it was her fault because she made Renee Good come to harass the ICE agents all morning, along with their dog in the car.

If you had asked them why they were protesting to protect criminals, while they were becoming criminals themselves, what would’ve been their answer? Maybe something like “This was what we were trained to do.” “I don’t know.” “I hate Trump!” Or as one protester told Laura Ingraham who asked why she wasn’t at work, “I’m getting paid here.”

What’s God’s Opinion About Lawlessness?

“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but too bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” (Romans 13:1-4)

Traci Coston wrote on her Facebook page that lawlessness is the spirit of the antichrist and I agree. “Rules are not a terror to good conduct. When a government is acting in righteousness, and the people respect their authority, all will be well. I don’t panic when I pass a cop car if I’m going the speed limit. But we are seeing a generation of people whose hearts are far from God (the Minnesota woman was living a homosexual lifestyle), who are unable to tell right from wrong, rebel against authority because of their inability to perceive wickedness from righteousness. And this is just one, horribly sad, example of someone paying the price for that rebellion.” Traci Coston

The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. Pr. 10:28

TRUTH CHECK: ICE Is Not “Attacking Communities.” They Are Enforcing the Law.

Janet Elaine Parks, who I encourage you to follow on Facebook because she presents factual researched commentary on current events that are good for us to know and share when hearing lies, propaganda, gaslighting, or misinformation. The following is from Parks’ Facebook post:

The media narrative around ICE has become emotionally charged and deliberately misleading…

You’ve heard the claims:

• “ICE is terrorizing communities”

• “ICE is targeting families”

• “ICE is acting like a rogue force”

“This administration is anti-immigration!”

You have even seen the most dramatic scenes of ICE attempting to do their job taking down individuals and of course, these scenes are shown and often published without the full context. But when you strip away the rhetoric and look at what ICE actually does, the picture is very different…

Let’s deal with facts…

WHAT ICE ACTUALLY IS …

ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is a federal law-enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security…

Its mission includes:

• enforcing immigration law

• targeting criminal networks

• removing individuals who violate federal immigration statutes

• combating human trafficking, drug trafficking, and transnational crime

ICE does not write immigration law.

ICE does not decide immigration policy.

ICE enforces laws passed by Congress.

WHO ICE TARGETS (THIS MATTERS)

Contrary to media framing, ICE enforcement priorities historically focus on:

• individuals with final orders of removal

• repeat immigration violators

• individuals with criminal convictions

• gang members and transnational criminal affiliates

• those who ignore court hearings or violate release conditions

Even under administrations with broader enforcement, the majority of ICE removals involve people already flagged in the system.

“ICE IS TERRORIZING COMMUNITIES”: WHAT THE DATA SHOWS

ICE arrests occur through:

• targeted operations

• warrants or administrative removal orders

• known addresses tied to individuals already in violation of law

ICE does not conduct random street sweeps.

ICE does not arrest people based on race.

ICE does not enforce state or local laws.

Claims of “indiscriminate raids” are not supported by arrest data.

WHY COMMUNITIES FEEL “IMPACTED”

Here’s the uncomfortable truth the media avoids:

When immigration law is not enforced for years, enforcement later feels sudden …even when it’s lawful. The disruption isn’t caused by ICE. It’s caused by:

• years of non-enforcement

• mixed messaging from politicians

• false promises that laws wouldn’t be applied

• delayed court backlogs

Enforcing the law after ignoring it doesn’t create cruelty …it reveals policy failure.

MEDIA FRAMING VS LEGAL REALITY

The media often uses emotional language like:

• “ICE stormed neighborhoods”

• “ICE ripped families apart”

• “ICE targeted communities”

But enforcement of federal law is not an “attack.”

It is the function of a sovereign nation.

Every country enforces borders.

Every country enforces residency laws.

Every country removes people who violate entry conditions.

The United States is not unique in this it is normal.

COMPASSION AND LAW ARE NOT OPPOSITES

You can believe:

✔️people deserve dignity

✔️due process matters

✔️families should be treated humanely

AND still believe:

✔️laws must be enforced

✔️court orders matter

✔️borders are real

✔️enforcement isn’t optional

Those positions are not contradictory …they are foundational to any lawful society.

FINAL TRUTH

ICE didn’t create the immigration crisis.

ICE didn’t write the law.

ICE didn’t make political promises it couldn’t keep.

ICE is enforcing statutes passed by Congress statutes that still exist whether the media likes them or not.

Calling law enforcement “evil” for doing its job isn’t justice. It’s deflection.

Faith. Family. Freedom.

I, Janet Thompson, would add that calling law enforcement “evil” for doing their job is deception and demonic! As Christians, we need to pray for all law enforcement officers and their families and praise God that there are men and women who are willing to sacrifice their comfort and even their life to uphold the laws of the land.

A Word from Pastor Jack Hibbs

For Christmas, I asked for Jack Hibbs new devotional “Watching Waiting: A 40-Day End Times Devotional” because I do feel we’re in the end times. Here’s a quote from Day 8:

“In these days of deception, the need for discernment and steadfastness in the faith cannot be overstated. Believers must be vigilant against the subtle deceptions that permeate society guarding their hearts and minds with the truth of Scripture. By immersing themselves in the Word of God and deepening their relationship with Him, they can withstand the onslaught of falsehood and remain rooted in the unchanging truth of the Bible.

Know this: in these Last Days, you will see increased attacks on your thinking coming from deceiving spirits, invisible entities that will lie to you. Your only defense against spiritual deception is having Scripture embedded in your spirit. If you don’t know the Bible, you’re susceptible to deception. Remember, everything we read in Scripture has already been tested, tried, and attacked. Yet here we are reading statements made 2,000 years ago that fit perfectly with tomorrow’s news. This shows the timeless relevance of God’s Word.”

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Tim. 3:1-5

“Jesus Is Lord!” Say It Loud If You Believe It

I am seriously concerned about the infiltration of Islam into America and I am not alone. I plan to address this concern in detail in the New Year. For now, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I want to focus on the momentous event that separated world history into BC and AD and literally is confirmed every time we acknowledge the current year 2025 AD since the birth of the Savior of the world! That should take your breath away as it does mine just writing about such an historic event that is joyous to Christians and denounced by those who worship manmade gods or no god at all.

On December 11, 2025, FlashPoint titled their program Warning to America! Christian twin brother pastors, Andrew and Martin Sedra, who fled their homeland of Egypt to Australia because Egypt is taken over by Islamists, told Americans our time is short to prevent the same thing happening in our country. Islam is not a religion. It’s a militant ideology followed by every Muslim who lives by the Quran.

The Sedra pastors and their wives are trying to warn Americans of the short window we have in America, as they watch the infiltration of Islam into Australia along with growing antisemitism which resulted in the tragic terrorist attack on Jews at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach that wounded 40 and killed at least 16 people, including two prominent rabbis and a ten-year old little girl, as of this writing.

When asked what Christians could do now about this impending threat, the Sedras responded with three things:

  1.  Start saying “Jesus” in the public square. “Jesus is King!” Say it. “Jesus is Lord!” Say it. “Jesus saves!” Say it.
  2. Get involved in politics because Islamists and antisemites are invading politics as we’ve watched in recent elections.
  3. Vote! Vote your morals and Christian biblical worldview in EVERY election!

What better time than this month to implement #1. Saying “Merry Christmas” is a good start, but when’s the last time you said the name of Jesus outside of church or the safety of your home? Even changing the salutation of Merry Christmas to “Happy Birthday Jesus” is saying the name of Jesus publically.

Or emphasize Christ in “Merry CHRISTmas.” Satan hates to hear the name of Jesus so all the more reason for us to shout His name from the rooftops or at least on the streets, while shopping, in conversations, to strangers, in emails, texts, phone messages, on social media . . . Let the name of Jesus roll off your tongue as easily as Merry Christmas.

Too often Christians worry about “offending” someone with their faith. How offensive is it to offer someone the love and hope of Jesus Christ who offers salvation and eternal life? If we’re afraid to say Jesus, we need to check our own heart and the sincerity of our own faith and belief in the Gospel. It’s time to read the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Become immersed in what true faith and courage of conviction looks like. Then read Acts, Romans, and the Epistles of Paul who considered it pure joy to suffer for Christ.

What if these biblical emissaries of Christianity had remained silent in the face of political or cultural correctness or intimidation? You can be sure that Muslims are NOT afraid to say the name of their false god Allah in public. In fact, they’re out shouting it in the streets! The best counter to their militant ideology is to shout right back “Jesus loves you!”

On a recent Facebook post, I wrote a reminder that in July 2025 President Trump signed an order allowing Federal Employees to Display Bibles & Crosses and share their faith openly at work. One headline read “A Step That Divided a Nation.” A Facebook friend who goes by “Jesse Speaks” wrote the following comments about this faith liberation by President Trump.

“Under the Trump administration, federal employees were officially permitted to express their Christian faith openly in the workplace — including the right to keep a Bible on their desk, wear a cross, and share beliefs with coworkers without fear of punishment.

Supporters hailed it as a victory for religious liberty. Critics called it favoritism. But for millions of believers, it was simple: The freedom to follow Jesus publicly — not silently.

For decades, Christians in government positions have felt pressure to hide faith behind professionalism, secular policy, and “neutrality.” Many feared that scripture, prayer, or even a small cross around the neck could lead to disciplinary action. That era shifted — and one administration opened the doors wider to religious transparency.

Some celebrated.

Some protested.

Few were indifferent.

Because this was more than policy — it was a cultural battle over who gets to speak and who must stay quiet. A world that celebrates every identity demanded Christians whisper theirs. The Trump era said otherwise.

Still, the question remains — Why did this spark so much outrage?

Why is public Christianity treated as a threat when every other worldview, religion, and lifestyle is welcomed without apology?

The divide proves something important:

Faith isn’t disappearing — it’s being contested.

And when a government allows Bibles in plain sight instead of under desks, it exposes a deeper tension beneath American culture:

• Will faith be allowed to stand in daylight?

• Or must Christianity remain tolerated only in private?

Whether one supports or opposes Trump, the conversation he forced into the open will not disappear:

Should believers hide their faith to make culture comfortable —or should culture learn to live with faith unashamed?

This is bigger than politics.

It’s about public allegiance to Christ in a world that wants quiet Christians.”

Here was my opening salutation to sharing the above “Jesse speaks” Facebook post.

This is good news!! Don’t hide your faith or allow yourself to be bullied into silence especially at this time of year, or at any time. If Jesus is Lord of your life, live like it boldly, bravely, brightly!!!

The 2025 National Christmas Tree Lighting Focused on the Birth of Jesus!

President Trump gave a mini-sermon at the Christmas national tree lighting this year sharing the true meaning of Christmas and quoting a Scripture from John. He emphasized the significance of the birth of Jesus. Yes, President Trump spoke reverently about Jesus in the public square. One reporter captured this beautiful moment. Here are some excerpts from his article.

“President Donald Trump leaned fully into faith and tradition during the 103rd National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Thursday night, using the annual event to deliver one of his most overtly spiritual messages in years. With the nation’s capital glowing behind him, Trump centered the night around a line that quickly became the emotional anchor of the event: Trump’s declaration that ‘the birth of Jesus turned human history from night to day. His Word and His example call us to love one another, to serve one another, to honor the sacred truth that every child is specially made in the image of God.’”

Trump anchored his message in Scripture. “This beautiful evergreen tree glows bright on the dark and cold winter night and reminds us of the words of the gospel of John 1:4, ‘In him was life and that life was the light of all mankind.’ Beautiful words,” Trump said.

“As his speech built toward its emotional core, President Donald Trump delivered the line that defined the evening, a sweeping, almost poetic declaration about the significance of Jesus Christ’s birth more than 2,000 years ago.”

“During this holy season, Christians everywhere rejoice at the miracle in Bethlehem… when the Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be with us,” Trump said. 

Trump spoke not just as a political figure, but as someone trying to recenter the national conversation on faith, unity, and moral responsibility.

Christmas tree lightings at the White House are usually ceremonial, but Trump’s decision to anchor the evening around Jesus’ impact on human history, and the call to “love and serve one another,” struck a chord with many in the crowd and with me. Regardless of what your opinion is of our President, he is NOT afraid to honor Jesus Christ by name for all the world to hear. Are you?

How often have you heard a President publically mention the name of Jesus while sharing the gospel at a national event watched around the world? You certainly didn’t hear it from the previous administration. President Trump even told us to let our light shine.

So I’m saying please shine for Jesus in your workplace, neighborhood, home, and daily life. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Jesus is the Lord of our life in the Thompson household, and I hope He is in yours too. If so, let others know. Don’t keep it to yourself. Jesus is coming back soon. Help others be ready when He does.

Legal Immigration Is a Wonderful Thing. Illegal Immigration Is Not!

In late November 2025, the Wesleyan Church wrote a Position Statement on Immigration, which reflects their attempt to twist Scripture to justify 20 million illegal, unlawful, unauthorized, undocumented, noncitizen aliens invading America.

Like the mainstream media, liberal left, and socialist Marxists, the Wesleyans only used the word “immigrant” instead of differentiating between vetted legal immigrants who are welcomed into our country when they come in the right way, versus those who break our laws to breach our borders illegally. You or I couldn’t just walk into another country and demand shelter, food, healthcare, education for our children, jobs, while abusing the country’s constitution or laws against its legal citizens.

My husband and I traveled abroad at the end of the summer, and we had to show our ID passport to get on the plane, when we got off the plane, and every leg of the trip. Our luggage had to go through customs going into a foreign country and also upon returning to our home country. While we were in other countries, we had to abide by their laws and culture.

Dr. Everett Piper, American writer, retired university administrator, and conservative commentator, author of the national best seller, Not a Day Care: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth and a columnist for The Washington Times, wrote a response challenging the Wesleyan Church’s Immigration Position Statement and I completely agree with him.

Too many churches, pastors, and Christians today are either misinterpreting Scripture or taking it out of context attempting to guilt Americans into tolerating foreigners who have broken the law by entering our country illegally. Many have criminal nefarious evil motives.

Dr. Piper’s opinion is interesting and relevant since he served as President of Oklahoma Wesleyan University from August 2002 until his retirement in May 2019. He was named President Emeritus of Oklahoma Wesleyan in 2020 and was elected County Commissioner of Osage County Oklahoma in 2022.

Here is what Dr. Everett Piper wrote in response to the Wesleyan Church Position Statement on Immigration:

“I personally think this statement from Wesleyan HQ is a not-so-thinly-disguised homage to some of our leaders’ decades old infatuation with neo-Marxism rather than simple Biblical truth. And they frankly don’t even try to hide it.

For example, the language of this official statement is laden with references to “systemic” this and that; as well as the use of the word “equitable” rather than equal. These phrases and concepts are straight out of the Frankfurt School handbook and reflect the writings of Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, and Herbert Marcuse more than they do traditional Christian beliefs regarding individual responsibility and conservative morals.

Biblical believers should be very wary of this for it is all a very close cousin to 1960s liberation theology whose goal has always been much more about “social justice” than personal salvation. All such models inevitably lead to division rather than unity, blame rather than personal confession, and the worship of government more than God.

Moreover, this statement repeatedly ignores the fact that the Bible never excuses illegal immigration or expects any country/nation to tolerate it.

It consistently conflates the immigrant who honors the law with those who don’t. In fact the document seemingly draws no distinction between the two and scolds those of us who do see the difference.

And it completely ignores the elderly, the poor, the widows, the children and the women who are being victimized even now as we speak by a tsunami of illegal vagrancy now sweeping across our nation.

What about them?

What about the working class older folks in Springfield OH, LA, South Chicago, Denver Colorado or in Minneapolis or St Paul who can’t even leave their front yard, walk to the local grocery store, or take their grandkids to the community park because their entire neighborhood is now overrun by a literal army of illegals?

What about children who are being trafficked and abused by the tens of thousands?

What about the young women who live in fear of being harassed if not outright raped?

What about the older retired couple who still live in the 1,000 square foot house they bought in what was a nice neighborhood in the 1950s that is now overrun by tent encampments, drugs, violence and crime?

What about all these people – these millions of law abiding blue color American citizens – who have had to sacrifice their safety, their home equity, their neighborhoods, their schools, their streets, and their entire way of life on the altar of virtue-signaling progressive Christians who live in their upscale suburban communities, sleeping soundly at night behind their locked front doors and who drink their five dollar lattes while smugly writing papers like this scolding everyone else to do better?

The bottom line is there is nothing in the Bible that tells a nation to ignore lawlessness and criminality at the expense of its own people. Read the book of Nehemiah my goodness. The entire thing revolves around building a wall for a reason.

Legal immigration is a wonderful thing. Illegal immigration is not. And ignoring the difference is cultural suicide.”

What Does the Bible Say about Violating a Nation’s Borders and Transgressing Its Immigration Laws?

*Romans 13:1–7 makes it clear that God expects us to obey the laws of the government. The only exception is when a law forces us to disobey a command of God (Acts 5:29). Illegal immigration breaks a government’s law. There is nothing in Scripture that contradicts the idea of a sovereign nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is rebellion against God to unlawfully enter another country. Illegal immigration is a sin.

It is not biblical to violate a law to achieve a “good.” Caring for the poor, orphans, and widows is something the Bible commands us to do (Galatians 2:10; James 1:27; 2:2–15); however, that biblical mandate does not excuse lawbreaking. Supporting, enabling, or encouraging illegal immigration is a violation of God’s Word. Those seeking to immigrate to another country should always obey the immigration laws of that country. Yes, dealing with red tape may cause delays and frustrations, but it is better than acting illegally. A frustrating law is still a law.

“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves” (1 Peter 2:13–16).

5 Do not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for they have thrown insults in the face of the builders. 6 So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart. Nehemiah 4:5-6

Many falsely try to label Jesus and His earthly parents as immigrants. Contrarily, Jesus’ birth took place when His mother Mary and earthly father Joseph travelled at a very inconvenient time to legally follow the government’s law.

At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. 2 (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. 4 And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. 5 He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child.

6 And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. Luke 2:1-6

I hope this blog clears up any confusion between legal law-abiding immigration and those who broke our laws, including the Biden Administration who willfully broke United States immigration laws to allow a travesty of 20 million illegals to cross our open borders. Horrifically, many victims of illegal immigration have paid a horrible price for this atrocity, some even with their life.  Praise God, President Trump closed our borders within weeks of coming into office, but now we must deal with locating and removing millions of illegals from our country while DHS also searches for the 300,000 unaccompanied children Biden and Harris lost!

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt. 18:6

We Need to Outsmart and Out Pray the Devil!

Today’s Monday Morning Blog will be briefer than usual even though this has been another packed week of events and emotions in our country, I’ve been sick all week. The kind of sick where my hubby willingly had to scrounge up his own dinner while I moan and blow my nose on the couch. I know many of you understand since there are bugs going around that have many of you commiserating with me. And yes, I take a slew of vitamins and elderberry daily and have been doing the iodine nasal spray when I’m around crowds and sick people, but my body was recovering from a skin cancer surgery on my face and I think it was just my time.

So, if you’re sick too or have been recently, you know the drill where you wake up every morning praying that you’re going to feel better and then you don’t. This too will pass. But being sick has allowed me to watch the coverage of many of the Trump cabinet Senate committee “interrogations” in real time and not just clips.

I’ve absolutely been appalled at the anger, yelling, rudeness, attacking, interrupting, lies, taking quotes out of context, projection, hypocrisy, and disrespect spewed from the Democrat Senators against the qualified candidates that President Trump has chosen to work with him in eliminating the atrocities inflicted on our country by the last administration. And here’s the rub. Those screaming Democrat Senators are railing against common sense values and policies that the majority of Americans voted for while voting against the Dem’s unjust woke policies.

Fear is motivating the Democrats hateful unprofessional accusations and verbal assaults. Fear that they’ll be found out for their own actions and personal gain while shamelessly destroying our country. Fear that whatever God is doing in our country will jeopardize their stranglehold on the government. Watching their contorted faces, they looked and sounded demonically possessed. As if they’ve sold their soul to the devil for power, prestige, and position with no real concern for the life of everyday American citizens. I couldn’t help but wonder what type of person votes for these people?

If you watch any of the senate committee sessions, I often refer to as hearings or interrogations, you’ll notice the Democrats were united in their disgusting vile attacks. They had prepared and planned and were unified in belligerent bullying. They’ll also be unified in partisan voting against every qualified Republican candidate who wants to restore power to the people. It was amazing to watch the cabinet candidates for the most part remaining calm and respectful while being verbally assaulted and insulted

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:11-12 NLT “Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back. 12 If a ruler pays attention to liars, all his advisers will be wicked.”

Angry lying fools and advisers is exactly what these Democrat Senators portray. Their godless way of dealing with temperament is rooted in pride. The Democrat Senators who can see their grip on power slipping from their grasp weren’t yelling for the benefit of America, but for self-preservation of their party and more important to them, their own personal power. They’ve learned nothing from their loss and what the American people said they wanted in this last election.

The Democrat minority leader Hakeem Jeffries called for violence at a press conference saying that, “everyday Americans are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda. We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. And we’re gonna fight it in the streets.” Is he trying to emulate President Trump’s iconic, “Fight, fight, fight”? If so, it fell flat. Now they’re going to take to the streets in violence?! How exactly is that going to benefit them or the American people? Another example of “fools venting their anger.”

The new Democrat party leader Ken Martin’s first priority is to set up a “war room” to message against Trump, who he once called a “traitor,” and his posture will be “aggressive against Trump and leading Republicans.“

We need to stay wise and vigilant because we’ve seen that the left does not play fair. These are the same people who mercilessly and unjustly jailed peaceful J6ers. They jailed peaceful pro-life advocates for praying while the Democrat party supports and receives funding from Planned Parenthood that calls “praying violence” and condemns Trump’s pardons of Pro-Life Americans.

The Democrats can’t accept that the MAGA agenda is exactly what millions of “everyday Americans” voted for! Instead, they’re trying to inflict a coordinated systemic attack to block Trump’s nominees to the detriment of the country. They want to delay the government for the people by the people from being able to function. Since the Democrats are in the minority, they’re using rules of the Senate to try to stymie Trump’s agenda. They’re playing a vicious and diabolical game with our government.

A Reoccurring Theme!

The Democrat agenda isn’t about how they can do a better job for our country, but rather what can they do to take down Trump and his supporters. Even Robert Kennedy Jr. in his confirmation hearing pointed to all the Democrat Senators and said, you were all my friends before I supported Trump. Now you’re all against me because you’re against anything Trump does.

They’re blinded by this singular focus as was evidenced with their attempts to take President Trump down before the election. But God spared him from every assault including an assassin’s bullet and Trump knows he was saved for such a time as this. So should we know this as we pray for his protection and godly guidance daily. If God is for him, pity the person who is against him.

As I prayed and pondered about all of this, I realized I was watching the spiritual battle occurring in the heavenlies playing out before my eyes in real time. Satan wants to destroy everything good that God has created from mankind to government to the world. The devil is using lost souls to do his dirty work. All the tragedies we’re watching in shock daily from devastation in North Carolina to apocalyptic fires in California to the horrific plane crashes in DC and Philadelphia to the daily murder of innocent babies have the stamp of the devil written across them.

Sadly, the devil is smarter than most Christians are, even though we know he prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Many Christians, including pastors, have actually joined the culture instead of taking the culture back for God. They’ve gone along with tolerating sexual perversion as a person’s “right” while thousands of young children are being groomed on social media like TikTok and even in our schools and surgically mutilated and castrated by “doctors.” If a male decides he’s a female, we let him invade women’s sports, locker rooms, and private spaces and even call him by his pseudo woman’s name and pronoun. We’ve tolerated gay marriage, an abomination to God.

We’ve cried over babies being murdered in the womb but haven’t been willing to join the fight to protect them. In some cases, the Biden government’s DEI programs have demanded compliance and even prosecuted brave people for objecting to evil wokeness.

How Do We Know What to Speak Out Against and Reject?

Answer: Anything that hurts God’s heart! Period.

We need to be as united in truth as the other side is united in lies and deception. We don’t agree with the devil, ever. If and when we do, we give the devil license to unleash his evil decadence and chaos here on earth as we’ve watched our culture deteriorate. Now we have a chance to take America back not only for common sense conservative values and laws, but more importantly, for God’s biblical values and laws. The left is terrified of this, but God is on our side.

There is power in unity, both for evil and good. It’s time Christians stop fearmongering and stand up for their faith. Anyone who is standing with the Democrats who want to go back to the Biden era are like the Israelites who wanted to go back to Egypt where they were slaves after God set them free! We need to stay involved, stay united, serve where we feel led, and pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Rom. 12:21

2025 A Year of New Beginnings!

Why do we get so excited about celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of the next? Maybe it’s because we have a fresh start to do those things we didn’t accomplish or finish in the past year. Maybe the past year had disappointments and heartaches. Maybe we didn’t finish or even start last year’s goals and we want to try again this year.

Even if the past year was wonderful, we get excited about making new life history. This New Year, we’re excited to have a positive direction change in our nation. We’re glad the blundering administration’s four years are over and we can’t wait for the new competent administration to start. Many people today are counting down to January 20 like they countdown to Christmas. We have high hopes and expectations for President Trump’s promises and plans and his cabinet choices to start cleaning up the carnage left by the failed anti-American, anti-faith, anti-common sense Biden administration.

Whatever our reasons, most of us are ready to “turn the page” of 2024. I’m personally embracing the motto “Revive in 2025.” That was the opening article theme of my December 2024 About His Work Ministries newsletter. Revive Your Bible Reading in 2025

Each of us will determine what we want to revive in our personal life this year. For some, it might be reading the Bible in a year, which is something I’ve enjoyed doing for years. I’m praying for my daughter and granddaughter who are committing to this revival in their life in 2025. Each is using a different reading plan, and I’m cheering and praying for them to accomplish this worthy goal by the end of the year. Their lives are going to be abundantly revived and enriched by what God has to say and show them through His Word. They’re in for a huge blessing!

Some of you might be committing to reading a Scripture a day for 365 days. No matter how you do it, gleaning the wisdom, encouragement, love, and guidance from letting God’s Word, the Holy Bible, speak to you daily will result in a spiritual and personal revival.

I’ve found that changing up the Bible translation I read each year adds freshness. Last year, I listened to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation on my earbuds while working out at the gym. I finished the last chapters at the gym on December 31! Combining physical enhancement with spiritual enhancement put a new kick in my step. I followed the CBN annual Bible reading plan, which I’m doing again in 2025.

There’s still time to start if you would like to read the Bible this year or maybe read the Old Testament or the New Testament.

Revive Your Prayer Life in 2025

At the beginning of 2024, the Lord told me my prayer life was going to deepen. I was curious to know what He had planned for me. Then I became involved with My Faith Votes (MFV) and soon I was enjoying prayer zoom meetings on Monday mornings with MFV action partners from across the nation, and during the week, with our MFV group here in Idaho. What an inspirational way to start the day praying with like-minded fellow conservative men and women as we called on the Lord with our petitions and praises for our country, state, and each other.

Even as I continue praying and serving with My Faith Votes in 2025, God has more for me this year. On December 30, 2024, Hubby and I watched Kirk Cameron’s Takeaways program on TBN. A rerun we hadn’t seen, but God wanted us to see it. Kirk was interviewing Matthew West, a favorite Christian musician of ours who we’ve seen perform in person. Kirk and Matthew’s topic was prayer. Matthew has a new album out “Don’t Stop Praying,” and he and Kirk had an inspirational discussion about prayer.

Matthew West says about his new album: “My new album #DontStopPraying is OUT NOW!! Each song in its own way is inspired by the different types of prayers we find ourselves praying throughout our lives. We pray prayers for strength when we are weak, prayers for a miracle when we need a breakthrough, prayers for purpose when we feel lost. West is going to share some of his favorite “mission statement” songs on his Facebook page every day in January to kick off the New Year, which I’m going to listen to. He also has a prayer wall on his website.

God was using Kirk Cameron and Matthew West to talk to me about enhancing my prayer life. Isn’t that just like God to show a past episode just two days before the start of 2025! It was obvious that God had new prayer revelations and plans for me in the New Year.

Then January 3, God moved again. He woke me up early, and as I settled into my quiet time chair with a cup of coffee, I turned on my cell phone. Pastor Jack Hibbs was looking back at me on Facebook live. Apparently, Pastor Hibbs had started on January 1, at 5:00 am PT, 6:00 am MT, a 5–10-minute morning prayer group. You can tell he too is just waking up. With tussled hair, wearing a hoodie, and talking softly outside to not wake up the rest of the house, he shares a short devotional and Scripture based prayer. If you’ve ever heard Pastor Hibbs speak, his knowledge of the Bible, no notes, just talking directly to us, is amazing.

Now, maybe you don’t want to wake up that early, and I don’t always either, but he’s recording live on his Facebook post and sharing on Instagram and X, so you can watch it anytime you want. The idea is to start your day praying with him and others. Here’s how he describes it for those who would like to join us.

Revive Your Health in 2025

As a former Registered Dietitian, I always say, “Once a dietitian, always a dietitian.” I’m thrilled that the Trump administration will be looking into the thousands of toxins and additives in our foods that aren’t even allowed in other countries!

Also on a side note, did you read the recent report by the US Surgeon General that alcohol has been linked to seven types of cancer? He wants alcohol labeled just like cigarettes, “Alcohol is a cancer risk!” Alcohol consumption is the “third leading preventable cause of cancer” in the country with tobacco and obesity taking the top two spots.

The liquor lobby, manufacturers, and distributors distribute propaganda to the public that small amounts of alcohol are good for your health. A blatant potentially lethal money-making lie. The small amounts of antioxidants found in red wine for example are also found in larger amounts in blueberries and spinach, which are good for you, not harmful.

Alcohol is a toxin and causes inflation. How could it be good for you when besides cancer, it also leads to obesity, lethargy, depression, sleep problems, and addiction?! If you drink alcohol, consider asking yourself, “Why?” With the high cost of healthy food today, maybe your 2025 budget could use the break of eliminating cancer-causing alcohol.

Vote To Let Freedom Ring and Remain!

Engaging in discussion regarding the people and platforms involved in the 2024 election can be frustrating and even divisive. This blog will post the day before we find out which side will govern our country for the next four years or maybe longer. It might take days in our current election chaos to know the outcome of the election. That says so much about the deterioration that has occurred at every level of government.

What’s distressed me most this election season is discussions with fellow believers who have opposing worldviews. We read the same Bible and pray to the same God, so how can this be? I think the answer is the powerful influence the mainstream media, which has literally become a propaganda arm of the Democrat/liberal/progressive party, has effectively had on the minds and hearts of people who to me seem brainwashed and blinded by Satan’s lies. Yet, they’ll tell me I’m brainwashed as they defend the evil the Democrat party wants to inflict on us. It amazes me that they can’t see the moral, spiritual, and economical destruction that’s occurred in our country and our culture over the past four years. How could they call this good?

I’ve also seen Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) at its worst exemplifying the power of propaganda and lies to influence intelligent godly people to hate and detest someone so much they would vote against Trump knowing the other side has an evil, demonic, anti-God agenda. They hate Trump more than they love America. Even Trump commented recently when asked why he thought so many people have such strong views against him, even to trying to assassinate him. His response is that only consequential candidates produce that kind of reaction in people. Many in the deep dark Washington swamp don’t want him in power because they know he’ll reveal and remedy the evil that’s taking place there.

Speaker Johnson has warned that Republicans need to win the Senate and the Congress because if the Democrats win either one, they’ll immediately try to impeach President Trump. How crazy is that?!

Don’t Be Fooled by the ‘Joy and Vibes’ Political Shield, which now has turned to ugly name calling, yelling, and angry tirades.

What Does It Mean to Think Biblically Versus Culturally or Secularly?

The opposite of thinking biblically is thinking secularly. Christians should vote their faith and values, but when we see the polls of Christians voting for a candidate whose platform is anti-biblical, anti-life, anti-Christian, anti-God, and anti-capable, it’s evident that many Christians aren’t checking with God or their Bible before selecting a candidate’s platforms and policies to govern our land. That goes for down ballot too.

It’s blessed me to see many Christians during this election cycle who aren’t afraid to discuss politicized biblical issues like sanctity of life, marriage, sexuality, protecting children from pornography and gender mutilation, and God’s design for humanity. Social media is full of brave posts and conversations. Now many are speaking and posting biblical values publicly. Praise God!

I even heard one pastor say, “Don’t be afraid to talk about politics and religion at holiday or family gatherings.” For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Tim. 1:7 NLT

We need to speak God’s truth no matter the circumstances. It’s the fear of man rather than the fear of God that has sent many Christians underground and silenced them. This has congruently allowed a nefarious government to successfully enforce laws contrary to God’s laws. But God’s Word in Hebrews 13:6 NLT assures us, “So we can say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?’”

However, here’s what “mere people” will try to do when Christians don’t speak up and vote. Ohio voted to codify abortion into the state constitution and a judge recently ruled unconstitutional the state’s previous six-week abortion ban law, which had been the law in Ohio since 2019.  “Ohio voters have spoken,” Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Christian Jenkins wrote in the filing. “The Ohio Constitution now unequivocally protects the right to abortion.” I would add, nullifying rights and protection of the unborn.

Why weren’t there enough Christian Ohio voters to protect the unborn? Ohio, once considered a conservative red state, is now a “swing state.” Up for grabs politically and morally. How did the Christians in that state let this happen? How is it that after the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional Roe v Wade and sent the decision back to the states, that we now have more abortions not fewer? More precious babies killed in the womb before they have the right to life?

Harris’ platform is to federally codify abortion in every state, which would strike down unborn baby protection laws like those we have in Idaho that bans all abortion. Christians need to vote against her and her radical platform.

Pro-life activists and leaders in Missouri are sounding the alarm about Amendment 3, the “Right to Reproductive Freedom Initiative,” on the ballot that would not only result in unrestricted abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, but would also “go way beyond abortion” and enshrine transgender surgeries on children. Let’s pray Missouri Christians are sounding the alarm to vote it down.

How are some Christians okay with killing human babies? Surveys tell us they are?  45% of Christians and 6 in 10 Catholics say they’re in favor of abortion and are voting for an unbiblical political platform?!

The only answer has to be that some Christians aren’t praying and reading their Bible to help them think biblically. Their worldview is influenced by secular culture, not God’s Scriptures. They may go to Bible studies, attend church, and check the Christian box. But they’re not allowing the Bible to transform and renew their mind and heart, thus their thinking and actions. How can I say this? Because God would NEVER condone killing human babies that He creates in His own image.

Randall Terry of Operation Rescue, along with several pastors, created TV commercials to depict the horrors of abortion and he’s paying to run them during prime time. Here’s the link to one that ran on The View, but warning, it’s graphic.

Tools For Thinking Biblically

Our Couples Bible Study group is viewing and discussing a My Faith Votes free online video series “Think Biblically” led by faith experts to help Christians stand firm on God’s Holy unchanging Word and think biblically about culture and politics. The video series is designed for churches, small groups, families, friends, couples, or on your own. The focus is to help Christians firmly align their beliefs with God’s Word and gain an understanding of how their views of culture align with a biblical worldview.

A quote from Think Biblically website: “In today’s polarizing world, many struggle to anchor their views on the truth of God’s Word. Now, more than ever, Christians need to evaluate our nation’s issues through a biblical lens and stand with an unshakeable faith.”

Another free resource, even after the election, is from Cissie Graham Lynch, granddaughter of Billy Graham and daughter of Franklin Graham. Fearless Family: Eight-Day Election Prayer Guide to take a biblical look at the issues affecting the heart of our families. Cissie writes, “Today, we are surrounded by a culture, both inside the church and out, that continues to compromise on truth and morality. It feels as if the only sin in America today is to call something sinful! Marriage, gender, sexuality, equality, and justice are simple words that have been twisted and redefined in ways God never intended. People are choosing to be ruled by their feelings rather than truth. My grandfather once said, ‘The secret strength of a nation is found in the faith that abides in the hearts and homes of the country.’ We must have a strong faith if we want to have a strong nation!”

What Does It Mean to Think Biblically?

  • We’re guided by God’s Word and His truths alone, not the latest cultural or political trend or talking points.
  • We will not bend to political or social pressure.
  • We will not break our vows, promises, and adherence to God and His laws.
  • We will stand for our faith and biblical values, even when they’re unpopular, especially when they’re unpopular.
  • We won’t be intimidated or coerced into denying the Gospel. We will be proud of our faith never apologetic for our Christian beliefs.
  • We will fill our minds with Scripture not propaganda.
  • Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
  • Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Col 3:2
  • Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Pr. 4:23
  • For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Heb. 4:12
  • All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:16-17

My hope for after the election is “Revive in 2025.” I pray God is preparing us for a mighty revival and just as we became brave and bold speaking against the evil that one side is trying to legitimatize, we would continue supporting biblical values and God’s good and gracious plans for the America we’re so blessed to call home. No victory is ever won easily. It takes diligence, persistence, focus, and God’s wisdom and discernment.

This will be my last blog for the month of November. I want to thank you for letting me share what God puts on my heart each week. I pray no matter who wins this election, you’ll continue serving God wherever and however He calls you!

Jesus the Great Divider

Were you surprised to see the title of this blog? We’re more accustomed to hearing about Jesus as the spiritual Unifier and Prince of Peace. Last week, some people found fault with my discussion of Jesus and politics. I always welcome dissenting points of view, but I do stand by everything I wrote last week in the blog The Lies Satan Uses to Deceive Christians and Churches. I always back my words with Scripture plus my understanding and discerning of both God’s Word and how the Holy Spirit guides me. I don’t come up with these topics on my own. I’m led by the Holy Spirit.

I’m sad and a bit disappointed when I learn that some people are afraid of sharing my blogs for fear of being censored. Fear is an extremely effective tool of the enemy. Unfortunately, many Christians stay silent in the face of adversity and even blasphemy against our Lord. Don’t you think we as Christians should be the ones telling everyone about Luke 12:8-10, which will determine where they spend eternity?

I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. Luke 12:8-10

To His followers Jesus assures us . . .

11 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Luke 12:11-12

Back to the subject of today’s blog. How does Jesus divide? Well, for starters, He explains this clearly in Luke 12:49-53 where the heading for this passage in my Bible reads “Not Peace but Division”
49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! 51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

You might wonder if the division in the family examples mentioned in Luke 12:51-53 happened because some family members were Christians, and some were not. That does happen as we all know who have unbelievers or those with different faith beliefs in our families. It can make for awkward family gatherings when the topic turns to politics or religion. But that kind of spiritual division also occurs in families where all dissenting parties claim to be “Christians.” A perfect example happened last week when a group calling themselves “Evangelicals for Harris” (an oxymoron) ran an ad against President Trump with a clip showing Billy Graham at one of his evangelical crusades.

This group claims that hard-left neo-Socialist, anti-Israel, pro-Hamas Kamala Harris, who supports murdering babies up to and after birth with abortion on demand, mutilating and castrating children, indoctrinating children in school with sexual deviancy and gender lies, invasion of America by illegals, authored the California grab and dash theft law, funded Antifa and violent protestors bailouts, “Better Reflects Christian Values.”

Some so-called evangelical “faith leaders” joined this blasphemous group for Harris, including Billy Graham’s granddaughter, Jerushah Duford, who is the daughter of Virginia “Gigi” Graham Tchividjian, Billy Graham’s oldest daughter. Duford participated in a virtual event sponsored by “Evangelicals for Harris” led by Ekemini Uwan who declares “whiteness is wicked,” police need to be destroyed and rebuilt, and churches should pay global reparations to “People of African descent.”

Billy Graham’s son and Duford’s uncle, true Christian Evangelist Franklin Graham blasted the fake “Evangelicals for Harris” organization for using footage of his late father in an attack ad against former President Trump who he argued if his father were alive, would support Trump.

Franklin tweeted, “The liberals are using anything and everything they can to promote candidate Harris. They even developed a political ad trying to use my father @BillyGraham’s image,” he wrote in a social media post. “They are trying to mislead people. Maybe they don’t know that my father appreciated the conservative values and policies of President @realDonaldTrump in 2016, and if he were alive today, my father’s views and opinions would not have changed.”

The Evangelicals for Harris account replied, “Praying for you” along with a heart emoji beneath his post and later said in a retweet that Graham has “forsaken the gospel.” They need to look in the mirror!

The Billy Graham extended family is living out the division described in Luke 12:49-53 as perhaps many of you are too. The two sides cannot unify, agree, or have peace over the definition of what it even means to be an evangelical or a Christian, let alone politics. They’re divided.

Common Sense vs Insanity!

Evil has taken off its mask and openly rebelled against the Word and ways of God, especially in this election cycle. Good can never unite with evil.

As voting and professing Christians, we have a choice to limit evil. When a church, pastor, or Christian objects to the obvious evil on display in our culture today, we’re defending and representing Christ in the spiritual battle between good and evil in our world.

One political side rejects the biological and spiritual reality of male and female with irreversible biological differences, which in the beginning God created! So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Gen. 1:27). How could a commonsense Christ-follower reject this biblical reality?

One political side rejects the biological and spiritual reality that God creates at conception a human being with a spirit, soul, and purpose! Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, (Jer. 1:5). How could a commonsense Christ-follower reject this biblical reality?

One political side rejects the biological and spiritual reality that “Pro-choice” is pro-murder. “You shall not murder” (Ex. 20:13). How could a commonsense Christ-follower reject this biblical reality?

One political side rejects the biological and spiritual reality that God created family! Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them (Ps. 127:3-5). How could a commonsense Christ-follower reject this biblical reality?

At the DNC Convention this week, anti-God, anti-family, genocidal Planned Parenthood is rolling in with a mobile health clinic offering free vasectomies, medication abortion, and “emergency contraception,” aka the morning after pill (EC)! The Democrats support Planned Parenthood, a huge donor.

One political side rejects Israel and champions anti-semantic, pro-Hamas policies. “3 I will bless those who bless you [Israel], and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you (Gen. 12:3). How could a commonsense Christ-follower reject this biblical reality?

How could a Christ-follower, Bible-believer be okay with the values, policies, and beliefs of the Democrat platform that completely contradict the Bible? Yet, there are those who profess to be “Christian” who would still vote for allowing the tearing apart limb by limb, poisoning by injection, or breaking the neck of God’s babies in the womb, gender and sexual mutilation of children, destroying the family, and abandoning Israel?! What Scriptures are they using to justify this barbaric, anti-God agenda?

Still some leaders in the Christian church tell pastors not to speak about these atrocities or choices. When the political realm comes into our Christian moral lane, is the church really being political if they resist or are they being biblical? As Fr Pavone of Priestsforlife.org says, “For a church to call this out it’s a church defending church.” I would add defending Christ who has already determined the dividing line between good and evil. No compromise.

If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 1 John 1:6

Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:4

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14

The Divine Divide

The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. Pr. 4:19

The biggest sin isn’t division, it’s what side you choose to take. No one can ride the fence on these issues because Satan is sitting on the fence. Jesus instructs us to pick a side. Every Bible-believing Christian must make the most important “choice” in life as to whom you will follow. We can’t follow a little bit of Jesus and a little bit of the world. We can’t go along to get along.

So Jesus said to them, “The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. John 12:35

To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ Acts 26:18

God actually created the concept of division from the beginning of time. In the beginning, God divided the light of day from the dark of night.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.  Gen. 1:1-4

Then throughout Scripture, He refers to good as light and evil as dark. The godly who are saved, live by faith in the light spiritually and morally divided from the demonic lost in the dark.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Is. 5:20

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 1 John 1:5

For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Eph. 5:8

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Jesus, the Great Divider Between Eternal Life or Eternal Death

Jesus put a line in the sand with the Gospel and finalized it at the Cross. He offers grace and mercy when we ask Him for forgiveness, repent from our sins, and receive Him as our Lord and Savior. But that choice is only offered to the living. There’s a great divide between Heaven and Hell.

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Eph. 5:11

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. John 3:19-20

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. John 12:46

Sadly, some will still choose darkness or not live fully in the light and that breaks Jesus’ and our hearts. We can’t make the choice for them, but we can present the truth, live the truth, pray for their salvation and willingness to step out of the dark into the fullness of the light. As for each of us who know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, there is no fellowship with the world’s ways as we remember this earth is not our eternal home.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 5:14-16

The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Rom. 13:12

“The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like total darkness. They have no idea what they are stumbling over.” Pr. 4:18-19

For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. 1 Thess. 5:5

The Millimeter Miracle!

I had planned to take this week off from writing my Monday Morning Blog, but after the attempted assassination of President Trump while we were on vacation last week, and Biden pulling out of the presidential race, I feel I can’t wait another week to share what the Lord’s been revealing to me.

Like so many other history-making events in the past, I’ll never forget where I was when my texts started blowing up with the news of the horrific, satanic, cowardly attempt to take President Trump’s life. Dave and I were enjoying a meet-and-greet party at our son’s house in North Carolina where we were meeting our grandson’s bride-to-be and her family the night before their wedding the next day. We were surrounded by family members and friends we hadn’t seen in years and looking forward to seeing our new six-month-old great-grandbaby and her mommy, neither of which we had met yet. It was a joyful gathering and then the conversation turned to President Trump’s harrowing experience as new details filled all our phones.

There was relief that Trump would be ok, but sadness to learn that a rally attender was murdered while shielding his wife and two daughters from the bullets and two others were critically injured. How did this happen? Why did this happen? As I write this blog, we still don’t have those answers and I wonder if we ever will.

Why have so many Democrats, liberals, media pundits, and progressives, including the Biden Administration, tried to silence and gag Donald J. Trump and his supporters during this presidential campaign? Why are they so afraid of a fair political fight? They’ve tried to intimidate him, falsely impeach him, imprison him, take him off the ballot, and now eliminate him? I think it’s because . . .

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. John 3:20

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

They’re afraid that Trump will uncover and expose the evil, selfish, corrupt deeds they’ve undemocratically imposed on the American people in order to destroy America for personal and political gain, greed, and power. I don’t care who they nominate to replace Biden, the Democrat political platform and agenda is demonic and evil. Those who subscribe to it have been deceived by lies.

Trump doesn’t even need to reveal their lies and demonic platform. God is doing it for him. For example, all Trump had to do was show up at the debate, and Biden showed the world the great four-year cover up that he is not capable of leading America. Someone else is obviously running the White House and every person and media pundit who swore he was capable, was lying. Most of us who are paying attention already knew that. Now, with the dark deceit and deception exposed to the light, it can’t be denied. Just as when light hits cockroaches, they’re all scrambling for cover and cover up.

Speaking To The ‘Never-Trumpers’

I’m sure some in my broad mailing list don’t like President Trump. You are still talking about the mean tweets, even though he hasn’t been on Twitter, now X, for four years. It’s hard for you to admit that life was so much better during his administration because you don’t like him personally. I don’t know all your issues, but here are some that I’ve heard from Never Trumpers:

  • Trump’s been divorced and married three times. Well Reagan was divorced and married twice. Did you hold that against him? I’ve been divorced and married twice too. Do you hold that against me? I know God hates divorce, but He also gave us free will and some of us, or our spouses, made poor choices in our earlier years. I was unequally yoked because I didn’t have wise mentoring as a young college grad. I’ve asked God for forgiveness and received God’s grace to marry my husband of thirty-two years, Dave, and become a Christian author, speaker, and director of Woman to Woman Mentoring and About His Work Ministries. 
  • Things Trump’s said and done in the past. When I looked at a list of things Never-Trumpers claimed he said or did, most of them have been debunked, even though the media and Democrats continue to tout the misquotes and lies. King David actually raped another man’s wife and when he impregnated her, he had her husband killed. Yet, God called David a man after his own heart and used David in the lineage of Jesus Christ. David had consequences like the loss of the son he and Bathsheba conceived, but then God gave them Solomon. Many of us find solace in reading King David’s Psalms, which are a favorite part of our beloved Bible. God can turn our past into purpose, and I do believe that’s what he’s going to do with President Trump.
  • Trump’s Language. I’ll admit I cringe a lot too, or at least I did. But in his 90-minute Republican National Convention (RNC) speech, he didn’t say one cuss word!! He mentioned that a few months ago Franklin Graham had asked him to not use foul language and he said, “the last four or five times I’ve been good.” So, he knows and he’s trying! Trump also said, “I humbly ask for your vote.” He used the word humble at least twice and when he gave tribute to the fireman who was killed by one of the assassin’s bullets, Trump quoted, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” 1 John 3:16

I say to every “never-Trumper,” he who has never sinned, go ahead and throw the first verbal barb. But oh yeah, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) We’re voting for a platform, not a personality!

A Changed Man Still in the Fight

Near-death experiences change you forever. When I had my first diagnosis of breast cancer, I wasn’t sure if I would live or die. But I experienced a serenity of either being with the Lord for eternity, or if God spared me, knowing He had a purpose for my life that I had not yet tapped into. Obviously, I lived and actually lived through two more breast cancer scares. It changes you. In the Introduction to my book Dear God, They Say It’s Cancer, I wrote: “I continuously seek a new term to describe the ordeal because I’m more than just a “survivor”; I’m also a “winner”! You see, there is a spiritual battle going on around us—a battle for our souls, our hearts, and our minds—and God does not want us merely to survive this battle. He assures us that with His help we will be victorious. Wounded but not defeated. Not just surviving, implying we barely make it, but energized by running the race, staying the course, and fighting the good fight. Somehow, some way, we will be better women because of this experience.

I don’t feel I just survived’ rather, I believe God had a purpose and a plan in my breast cancer. He wanted my heart to break for every woman going through this. He intended for me to write this book and speak freely so others also might find purpose in their breast cancer.”

If you heard President Trump’s RNC speech, you heard him describe in detail the events of his near assassination. He said that might be the last time we hear him talk about it because it’s just too painful to recall. I wrote exactly that in Dear God, They Say It’s Cancer: “It took me months to write the first words of this book. I wanted so badly for you to have it in your hands, but every time I thought about putting my journey into words, it seemed too painful. Finally, I cried out to God to release what was holding me back and discovered that freeing power came when I wrote through the pain and despite the pain.”

Many of us have prayed for President Trump for years, and yes, we always pray that he will grow closer in his relationship with God. Escaping a near death experience will do that for you.

In President Trump’s case, the bullet missed blowing off the side of his face by ¼ inch, even closer than a millimeter, as he tilted his head to look at a graphic on the screen. His son, Eric, said his father’s Guardian Angel protected him. He usually shows that graphic towards the end of his speech, but in Buttler, Pennsylvania, he went off script and asked to show it just before the bullets started flying. When he showed the graphic at the RNC, he mentioned he never got to see it in Buttler, but it providentially saved his life turning to look at it. A Millimeter Miracle!

We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts thememory of the citizen who was so horribly killed.”
  • “It was God who helped me!”
  • “It changes your attitude, your viewpoint on life. Honestly, you appreciate God even more!”
  • “I’m not supposed to be here tonight, and yet, I stand here before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God who had other plans!”
  • Referring to when he dropped down after sensing something flying by his right ear and bringing his hand down full of blood knowing it was a bullet: “The amazing thing is I felt safe. I felt serene because I had God on my side.”
  • “None of us knows God’s plan for us. If I learned anything from last Saturday (July 13th), every moment we have on earth is a gift from God.”

Pray for Former President and Republican Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump’s Spiritual Transformation, Growth, and Reliance on God!

“I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NASB)

Twice in the last week, I’ve heard President Trump mention how his father took him to Yankee Stadium to hear Reverend Billy Graham. He’s remembering his spiritual roots. We must keep praying for President Trump because he can’t help but experience some PTSD from such a traumatic experience. Since he knows and acknowledges that it was God who saved him for such a time as this, our prayers can help him overcome any negative feelings as we celebrate with him a victory over an evil attempt to take him down.

I don’t know why God chose to use adulterer and murderer King David, or secular King Cyrus (Chr. 36-22-23, Ezra 1:1-2), and I don’t know why God’s using Donald J. Trump to make America great again. But I do believe God has called him and will protect him and use him to save America physically, globally, economically, and spiritually. When you consider the many evil attempts to discredit and destroy Trump, yet he still prevails, I think we need to agree with Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was President Trump’s Press Secretary and now the youngest governor in the United States and the first female governor of Arkansas, when she said at the RNC:

President Trump’s immediate reaction to the assassination attempt was captured in the iconic picture of him standing amongst Secret Service agents under the American flag with his fist in the air and blood streaming down his face, telling us to not give up or give in but to “Fight, Fight, Fight!”

We too must not lose heart, give up, or give in! However God leads you in the next four months to fight the spiritual and political battle, we can turn this all into good. We can help bring back civility, love for fellow man, and most importantly our dependence on, respect for, and love of God our Great Creator, Provider, and Ruler!

For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Phil. 2:13

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Rom. 8:28

The Great Debate that Begs the Question: Who is the Real Commander in Chief of the United States?

This week, we cautiously and with trepidation anticipate the celebration of July 4th in remembrance of our great country winning independence from under the rule of England. So why do I use the descriptive words “cautiously” and “trepidation” when this is typically a day of joyous celebratory parties and BBQs in backyards, parks, and beaches commencing in nighttime fireworks displays? Because most Americans are asking and concerned about, “Whose rule are we under now?”

During the June 27th presidential debate between former President Trump and current President Biden, the world could no longer deny that Biden is president in title only. It doesn’t matter your political or religious persuasion, nationality, or ideology . . . it’s evident to the world that someone else, or a cabal, is running our country and probably has been since January 22, 2021. Americans aren’t truly free or independent right now. An unelected person or people are making decisions and executive actions destroying our free republic. We’re entitled to know who ‘they’ are. Instead of pondering and speculating, Congress should be demanding and investigating answers!

Hal Lindsey put it best in his blog of June 30, 2024:

“If you watched the US Presidential debate on June 27th, you don’t need me to tell you what you saw. If you are a Democrat, the debate probably left you at least somewhat troubled. If you are a Republican, you probably feel that your guy won. Still, I don’t see Republicans dancing in the street. (Come to think of it, I’ve never seen Republicans dancing in the street.) You might expect exuberance from Republicans at so large a perceived victory. Instead, I see Americans of all political persuasions held in the grip of a deep sense of unease.”

Did you ever think we would be living in a time when love of country, respect for the American Flag, and standing for the National Anthem would become controversial? Who is deeming patriotism as racist, toxic, and deplorable?  

The federal government is attempting to divide Americans into identity groups and pit them against each other. Children are taught in school to judge each other by skin color and question their own biological gender! Young children are castrated with their bodies surgically mutilated while a “Biden” trans official pressures the woke organization “The World Professional Association of Transgender Health” (WPATH) to eliminate limits on sex-change procedures for minors?! (Did you even know there was an association like that?)

A radial climate hoax is ruining our economy while millions of unvetted illegals from all countries, including our enemies, storm our open borders. Men invade women’s sports and private areas. DEI replaces Dependable, Expert, Intelligent, and even Skilled.  College students protest in favor of terrorists . . . and the list goes on and on and on . . .

Can America Be Saved?

It’s alarming what’s happening in our federal and some state governments, but what’s even more alarming is that many people think merely electing someone else will solve all our problems. It will certainly help, but since the current administration’s agenda is demonic, the only real way to fight Satan is with a populace who understands and appreciates the power of God and persistent prayer while voting their values and beliefs! America must repent and turn to God not government to save our country.

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

“We have good reason for concern. As a nation, we are not embracing the self-discipline needed to maintain liberty. We are not repentant over our national sins. The nation tends to put its hope in men and technology — not in God. . . Maybe your side’s winning in the presidential race this year, or maybe — for the moment at least — it’s not. Either way, this is a time for humility and repentance. We are in trouble as a nation, and the answer is to turn to God our Father.” 

I love the song “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood, and I sing along with him, especially the lines, “I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.” But I’m even prouder to be a Christian American!  A follower of Jesus Christ.

The current administrative cabal and the Democrat party are not loyal to America or proud to be American. They continually denounce us as a racist country and claim half the population, at least those who are conservative, Christian, white, drive pickups, and wave American flags, are a threat to our country?!

Instead, they’re attempting to see how far to the extreme Socialist, Communist, Marxist, tribal, racist, liberal, progressive left they can take America. They’re turning America into a country our forefathers wouldn’t recognize. A country where men and women of all colors gave, and continue to give, their lives to defend.

If you’re saying don’t make the 4th of July political—Independence Day marked the initiation of politics!

A Pop 4th of July Quiz

Have you watched a man-on-the-street interview asking people if they know facts about our country’s history? It’s embarrassing. I wonder how many could answer questions about the 4th of July and why it’s a national holiday?

“What does July 4th stand for?”

  • From what country did America fight to win their freedom?
  • Why is July 4th Independence Day?
  • What year was the Declaration of Independence signed and adopted?
  • What is the significance of 13 stripes and 50 stars?
  • Why are our patriotic colors red, white, and blue?
  • What does a national flag represent?
  • Why are caskets of fallen soldiers wrapped in the American flag?
  • Why do we have fireworks on the 4th of July?

So much of our history is lost in a culture that is trying to rewrite it and has forgotten our Christian roots. Liberal left progressive politicians want to erase our heritage as if it never happened and turn a republic of freedoms into a country of government socialistic control. They make it sound like the freedom of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness isn’t as valuable as the carrots they dangle of free healthcare, free college, free immigration free… free…which the naïve lap up without realizing nothing is free. Americans will pay the price with the loss of sovereignty and personal freedoms that so many brave soldiers gave their life to grant each of us. It will cost us dearly in taxes, independence, and quality of life.

Since the Biden cabal and “sanctuary states” want to give illegals free health insurance, they’ll need to put more than a 70% increase on our taxes to pay for it. How good do you think that healthcare is going to be when stretched to the limits with no money to back it and millions of extra people getting it for “free?” That’s why whoever is running the White House hasn’t given specifics of how they would achieve this.

Some politicians have said we’re the only major country without socialized healthcare. What Americans need to remember is the entire point of July 4th is we didn’t want to be like other nations. Other nations come to America for medical treatment. People are not migrating to other countries or invading other country’s borders; they come to America because we aren’t like other nations. The White House cabal has put out the welcome mat at the expense and threat to American citizens who are being murdered, raped, and robbed.

We Must Return to Our Roots!

For those who try to say we weren’t founded on Judeo Christian values, how do you explain our currency’s motto, “In God We Trust” NOT “In the government we trust”? While the liberal progressive socialist left tries moving our country away from God, Christians must stand in the gap and keep America a blessed nation under God.

The 4th of July celebrates the fight for freedom to be different from other countries. A republic of the people, by the people, and for the people. Where the government works for us NOT controls us.

As you plan your festivities—parades, BBQs, fireworks, pool parties, trips to the beach—how about starting those events with the Pledge of Allegiance, singing the National Anthem, and a prayer to God who has allowed us to live in this great country.

Remind children at the gatherings why you’re celebrating this holiday. Our generation must pass down to the next generation our country’s history and why we don’t want to repeat past mistakes. God has allowed each American to live in the greatest nation in the world, so far. Have you ever opened your eyes in the morning and said thank you God I’m an American? If we take God, freedom, and patriotism out of America, we won’t be able to say that anymore.

Let’s take a stand for what the majority of American people really want and deserve— A country that honors God and His Word first and foremost! Honors our flag and those who went before us to secure our freedoms. A fair justice system that adheres to the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution of the United States of America!
