Only Jesus Can Fill the Spiritual Vacuum in America!

Last week’s blog was Pray for America to Remain: One Nation Under God! I hope you have read it, but if not, maybe stop and read it now because our nation is under attack from the enemy and that enemy has a name, Satan!

Satan has already mastered lower hanging fruit like Europe, Canada, Australia, Iran, Russia, Mexico, and much of the Middle East, but the prize for the Devil would be the United States of America. The only thing preventing his success are righteous, patriotic, Bible-believing, God-fearing, Holy Spirit filled, Jesus Christ Followers.

  • Not simply “Christians.”
  • Not “Religion.”
  • Not Government.
  • Not Conservatives.
  • Not Republicans.
  • Not Politics.
  • Not the White House.

I hope most of you gave a resounding “Amen” because Jesus is clear, if you’re not with Jesus all the way, you’re against Him which means you’re with the Devil.

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. Matt. 12:30

We’re still one constitutional Republic of America, but after the Super Bowl Halftime fiasco, it’s obvious we’re not one nation culturally or morally. You have to wonder how an American iconic formally family-friendly venue deteriorated into a demonic X-rated anti-American gay-gyrating, crouch grabbing, filthy Spanish-speaking event broadcast on national television and streaming waves.

How did Jesus followers let it go this far wrong?

You might think I’m overstating, but I’m not. Yes, I know “Bad Bunny” (that was the first clue he should’ve never been given this platform) is technically a Puerto Rican American, but his show did not represent or celebrate America. While we didn’t watch it at our house, I’ve read enough to know it was an attack on ICE removing illegal criminals from our country and finding lost children! His lyrics were in Spanish because they were so sexually explicit and vile I couldn’t read the translation. Children who know Spanish heard that trash. Currently the FCC is going after the station and the NFL for violating decency standards on television. I hope the fines are large and serious.

An Unexpected Artistic Testimony!

Watching the continual demise of the NFL, and specifically the moral decay of the Super Bowl halftime shows, was Charlie Kirk’s “obsessive” concern. What for many years was an American family sport and tradition right up there with the Flag, Mom, and apple pie has descended into demonic halftime shows with little pushback and this troubled Charlie greatly! Turning Point USA in Charlie’s honor offered a family-friendly alternative halftime show, watched by 6.5 million on YouTube alone with millions more watching on social media, OAN, Daily Wire, Real America’s Voice, or like us on TBN.

There were no commercials or advertisements at TPUS’s All American Halftime Show, just country music as a celebration of “faith, family, and freedom” with an unexpected artistic testimony which sent the liberals spinning.

TPUSA incurred pre-game criticism advertising Kid Rock as their lead performer. I too was curious about that, but I heard him interviewed the prior week where he said he would have a surprise during his performance. He also framed the contrast between the two halftime shows: “He’s (Bad Bunny) said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

The week before the Super Bowl, the NFL asked Bad Bunny to tame down his show, which he had touted as a tribute to queerness, so maybe that’s why he didn’t wear a dress.

During the TPUSA halftime show, we endured Kid Rock’s first performance of one of his early distasteful songs while wearing shorts and a fur coat with smoke and flashing lights on the stage. Then there was a beautiful husband and wife instrumental hymn presentation on a cello and violin, which at first, seemed like an odd follow up to Kid Rock’s wild performance.

Then “Robert James Richie” was announced and there stood “Kid Rock” in blue jeans, a jean jacket, and a Detroit trucker’s hat strumming a guitar under a single spot light. If you didn’t watch it, here is what he said. “One Sunday morning I woke up thinking about the song, ‘Til You Can’t.’ Something or someone spoke to me that there was another verse that needed to be added.”

“There’s a book that’s sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off.”  There’s a man that died for all our sins hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus and He’ll give you a second chance. ‘Til you can’t.’”

He then sang the entire song and with the permission of Cody Johnson, added the new verse at the end that God gave him, which he wrote after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The performance ended with photos of Charlie Kirk and his widow, Erika, and their two children followed by the Bible verse Isaiah 6:8 “Here am I send me.”

As we know, God can and does use the people we least expect to share His message. Kid Rock definitely has a checkered past, yet that same man looked into the camera and told America to dust off their Bibles, give their lives to Jesus, and take their second chance while they still can.

It seemed like Kid Rock was showing with the first song, this is where I was, and with the last song as his given name Robert Richie, this is who I am now in Christ, my second chance. The left chose to criticize his first song, completely missing the point of the instrumental interlude before the last second-chance gospel song.

A Facebook friend described this so well:
“He [Kid Rock] was once lost like all the people he was naming in the first song but is now born again thanks to his faith in Jesus. Professing the name above all names and showing through a public display who his life belongs to now. That was pretty epic in my opinion!! Great job, Robert Ritchie. The old is gone and the new has come. He is a new creation in Christ Jesus!

 To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph. 4:22-24

 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”– 2 Corinthians 5:17

“Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.” – Micah 7:18

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”– 1 John 1:9

And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” –John 8:7

Many were quick to throw the first verbal stones because those without Christ don’t understand mercy, grace, repentance, forgiveness, and salvation. They hang onto everyone’s past while often ignoring their own.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

The Gospel is Spiritual NOT Political!

Sharing the Gospel at TPUSA was labeled by some on the left and lying media as “political.”

Folks, that’s the crux of our problem. We’re letting the left and the media define spiritual as political just like the Romans and spiritual leaders did in Jesus’ day. They’ve politicized what we know is spiritually and morally wrong and Christians haven’t fought hard enough to keep political out of spiritual. We let the liberal God-denying left intimidate us and we even tolerate their complete misunderstanding that there is nothing about separation of church and state in our Constitution or Bill of Rights.

So many Christians have used this lie as an excuse not to stop the evil the liberal left has imposed on our nation. They fight harder for evil than we fight for good. Evil is celebrated and God is demonized in our culture today!

We’ve let this spiritual vacuum occur as Satan fills people’s brains with demonic beliefs and practices.

  • Sadistically murdering innocent babies and calling it “women’s healthcare.”
  • Same sex marriage an abomination to God.
  • Perverse sexual grooming of children in schools.
  • Mentally ill children sexually mutilated and their symptoms tolerated instead of treated.
  • Sexually explicit and morally degenerate alternate lifestyles permitted in entertainment.
  • Unvetted illegals invading our borders and our communities.
  • Wokeness
  • Attacking ICE for arresting illegal criminals and rescuing 3364 unaccompanied missing children in Minnesota alone.
  • Storming churches.
  • Too many evils to list.

The only English words in Bad Bunny’s horrible presentation were a token “God bless America” after he had just trashed America and named Latin American countries waving their flags including Canada and Puerto Rico.

When asked about him speaking the entire show in Puerto Rican Spanish, BB said, “English is not my first language. But it’s okay; it’s not America’s first language either.” This is where the left is taking us and Christians have allowed this spiritual vacuum to occur.

Don’t Let the Ungodly Fill the Spiritual Vacuum!

After BB had just showed hate for America, there was a closing sign in English, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.” The decisive factor in that phrase is it’s always the devil’s definitions of love and hate. I’ve been called a hater for sharing godly biblical principles and love. Maybe you have too. The Bible to unbelievers is a book of hate. Anything they don’t agree with is hate. We’re hated for showing the love of salvation that only Jesus offers.

Franklin Graham is also sounding the call to action to fill this spiritual void to save America. He warns that the moral foundation of our nation is cracking and this is no longer a distant threat.

“We are standing at a crossroads. The darkness isn’t just coming; it’s already here—entering our homes, our schools, and our hearts.”

Graham says what we’re witnessing—social unrest, hostility toward people of faith, and deep cultural confusion—is not merely political or social. It’s spiritual. A real battle for truth is unfolding, and discernment has never been more urgent.

He cautions that deception doesn’t only come from outside the Church, but often from within—where “itching ears” prefer comfort over repentance, affirmation over transformation.

“There are many who have the appearance of godliness but deny its power.”

His call is clear and uncompromising:

📖Be ready for the return of Jesus Christ

This is not a time for lukewarm faith or cultural Christianity. It’s a time for repentance, truth, and courage.

America doesn’t need better messaging.

It needs a spiritual awakening.

🙏May we hear the warning—and respond while there is still time.

Til You Can’t!

Our pastor today made a comment as we studied John 7:37-38. “When you’re thirsty enough, you’ll drink from anywhere. People are so spiritually thirsty today they’re drinking from streams that are making them spiritually sick.” They need to hear about the fountain of living water, Jesus Christ.

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:37-38

If you’re a Jesus follower, have you shared Jesus with someone who is spiritually thirsty? Have you spoke out and stood up against cultural and spiritual atrocities? Islam is strategizing and positioning to fill the spiritual vacuum and thirst in America. It’s a spiritual race between Allah and Jesus. We know who wins in the end, but who are we going to let win in America in our lifetime?

Pray that America Remains: One Nation Under God!

Our Nation, the United States of America, will joyfully celebrate its 250th birthday this year on July 4th and the Trump Administration is planning a “huge” celebration. 250 years is a milestone many countries or empires may achieve . . . but then there’s often a rapid decline. 250 years is actually the life span of most great nations.

“While many like to comfort themselves that America is different, or even uniquely blessed by God, there’s no proof that we will escape the fate of other nations that one time believed the same about themselves,” Cal Thomas said in a recent presentation at the Heritage Foundation. Thomas’ talk was titled after his book, “America’s Expiration Date.”

After examining the historical precedent of former global superpowers, such as the Roman, Persian, Ottoman, and British empires, Thomas claims in his book that certain markers of cultural decline precede political decline. The book’s subtitle is “The Fall of Empires and Superpowers and the Future of the United States.”

Thomas says that in America: “Our past challenges were met with a resolve born out of a shared ethical and moral sense that is today in rapid retreat.” He mentioned one of the most disturbing markers of America’s decline is the casual devaluation of human life through abortion and daily deadly shootings in the inner cities that don’t even make the news anymore.

Thomas is hopeful that the cultural damage can be reversed with these three steps to restore common morality in America:

  1. Remove the next generation from public schools and liberal institutions of higher education.
  2. Encourage people to work and save and to look at government welfare programs as the last resort.
  3. Close the partisan gaps in public discourse and combat the left-leaning mainstream media.

On point #1 about schools, Thomas makes a great point:

“We don’t send our soldiers to train in the enemy’s camp, so why do we send our children to schools that teach them values so contrary to our own while expecting them to return home with those values and beliefs still intact?”

While Thomas’ battle plan is valid and perhaps a bit altruistic, I don’t believe healing America’s moral cultural decline is achievable without a return to God, who our founding fathers prayed to and were inspired by in designing and crafting this great American experiment.

Did you know that a majority of our laws come straight out of the Book of Deuteronomy?

The Declaration of Independence acknowledges that God is our Creator, “All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” 

The Pledge of Allegiance starts out “I pledge allegiance to the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

 Regardless of whose picture is on our money, America’s national motto adopted in 1956 is on all our currency, “In God We Trust.” America’s guiding motto is commonly displayed in courtrooms across the United States above judges’ benches and is prominently displayed in various areas of the Supreme Court Chamber and the Capitol Rotunda reflecting the historical and cultural significance of the motto in American society and law.

When a government official is sworn into office, they put their hand on the Bible and pledge to honor the Constitution and the role of the position, “So help me God.” Even those who put their hand on the Quran, which I think is a travesty and should be illegal, still have to pledge, “So help me God,” NOT “So help me Allah!”

Even more essential than the three points made by Thomas to the survival of the United States is Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth’s, profound proclamation at the National Prayer Breakfast in D.C. on February 5, 2026:

“A country that forgets its God, forgets its greatness!”

President Trump also knows this to be true and that is why during his keynote speech at the National Prayer Breakfast he said this . . .

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “I’m pleased to announce that on May 17th, 2026, that we’re inviting Americans from all across the country to come together on our National Mall to pray, to give thanks, and to do something a lot of people said ‘boy that’s tough,’. . . we’re going to rededicate America as One Nation Under God!”

The room erupted in applause with a standing ovation.

President Trump continued, “That’s what I mean the spirit is so incredible. I thought it would take longer…but we’re doing so well. Maybe it’s because of religion. I’ve always said you just can’t have a great country if you don’t have religion. You have to believe in something. You have to believe that what we’re doing there’s a reason for it . . . People are going to church. They’re meeting people. Churches have seen 30% to 70% increase. There’s an increase in the number of converts and people going to church every week. Bible sales are through the roof. To support this exciting renewal … I’m announcing this National Day of Prayer!”  

Contrast President Trump’s speech at the National Prayer Breakfast with New York City mayor’s speech at an interfaith breakfast. Mamdani used Islam to lecture Americans about why they should resist ICE and illegal migration is necessary, although his own religion doesn’t allow non-Muslims to enter the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

“I consider my own faith, Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration. The story of the Hijrah reminds us of the prophet Muhammad, [who] was a stranger too, who fled Mecca and was welcomed in Medina … If faith offers us the moral compass to stand alongside the stranger, government can provide the resources. Let’s create a new expectation of City Hall where power is wielded to love, to embrace, and protect. We will stand with the stranger today,” Mamdani said.

How does government “wield power to love”? Love is a choice. And those “strangers” he’s standing with that ICE is trying to protect New Yorkers from are illegal murderers, pedophiles, child molesters and traffickers, thieves, drug dealers . . . the worst of the worst. Mamdani is using power to love, embrace and protect illegal criminals instead of New Yorkers!

In a country whose motto is One Nation Under God, this mayor feels free to speak about Muhammad and Islamic “faith” as a role model for America’s biggest city! That should alarm everyone!

Islam is not a religion! It masquerades as a religion to take advantage of America’s religious rights protections. Islam is a political ideology with the goal of annihilating the infidels, Christians and Jews, and anyone who isn’t Muslim per the Quran and in that pursuit, they’re allowed to lie. Islam is not an ideology of peace. It’s an ideology of surrender to Islam and then there will be peace. Someone needs to call Mamdani out on that fact. Someone should’ve told New Yorkers that.

Pray For the Re-dedication of America as One Nation Under God!

A Facebook friend of mine shared the following commentary by Traci Coston, which she had posted on her Facebook page regarding President Trump’s announcement of the national gathering in D.C. on May 17 to again proclaim and rededicate America as “One Nation Under God.”

Traci addressed some of the issues maybe some of you are even feeling and wondering why God would choose President Trump for this national reawakening and turning America back to its roots founded in God and the Bible. I thought Traci used Scripture and her words well to confirm God’s timing and plan that we don’t always understand in our humanness, but praise God we’re alive today to experience it. So I’m going to share Traci’s post here for your consideration.

Traci Coston wrote . . .

“As believers, we need to pause and recognize what is happening in our nation. President Donald Trump has openly called the country to prayer and has declared a re-dedication of America back to God on May 17th on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. That should move us to pray, not argue.

Scripture says: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority…” (1 Timothy 2:1–2)

Notice it doesn’t say only the leaders you personally like, agree with, or fully understand. We are commanded to pray for those in authority because God works through leadership to bring order, restraint, and alignment.

Some believers refuse to pray for President Trump because they question his salvation or his motives. But Scripture addresses this too. Paul wrote that even when Christ was preached from mixed or selfish motives, he still rejoiced because the gospel was advancing:

“Whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.” (Philippians 1:18)

The issue is not whether a leader is perfect — it’s whether God is using them. Jesus Himself said: “Whoever is not against us is for us.” (Mark 9:40)

And He also made this spiritual truth unmistakably clear: “A house divided against itself cannot stand… Satan cannot cast out Satan.” (Mark 3:24–26)

Think about that carefully. A leader cannot be actively confronting evil, restraining darkness, calling a nation to prayer, and pointing people back to God by the power of the devil. Darkness does not cast out darkness. Evil does not war against itself. God may use vessels that don’t fit our expectations—sometimes when they don’t even fully understand what He’s doing through them.

Throughout Scripture, God used imperfect, unlikely, even resistant leaders to accomplish His purposes. What mattered was not their polish, but God’s power working through them. So instead of withholding prayer, criticizing from the sidelines, or demanding perfection before intercession, the Church should be doing what it has always been called to do:

Pray, intercede, ask God for wisdom, protection, repentance, and courage for our leaders, and thank God that His name is being lifted publicly again.

If a leader is calling the nation back to God, the response of believers should not be suspicion—it should be prayer.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” (Psalm 33:12)”

Only Jesus Can Keep America the Land of the Free!

Many Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964) like me, and possibly your Generation X children (born 1965-1980), are in shock that a “Democratic Socialist” with a Marxist/Communist/Islamic platform was elected as mayor of New York City, the financial hub and iconic powerhouse of not only America but the world!

So many things wrong with this that it’s hard to know where to start. But I believe this happened because one generation didn’t pass down to the next generation the historical horrors of socialism, Marxism, and communism along with the political and spiritual ambitions of Islam to wipe out Christianity and become the dominating government and religion in America and the world. The Islamic plan is that progressive liberals and the Democratic Socialist party will destroy our nation and then Islam comes in to devour it.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

I can still remember having drills in grammar school during the Cold War where we had to hide under our desk in case communist Russia attacked the United States. Since many of my classmates and I lived in the neighborhood where the school was located, we often had drills parading down the streets with a teacher leading us to our homes. We knew the dangers of communist dictators and we knew how fortunate we were to live in the free United States of America.

We lived through President Reagan’s call for the fall of the Berlin Wall separating oppressed communist East Germany from free West Germany and the fall of the Soviet Union.

We learned that communism is based on Marxism, a political and economic theory developed by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Marxism provides the theoretical foundation for communism, a political ideology advocating for a classless society and common ownership of the means of production, the abolition of private property, centralized control of the economy and the establishment of a dictatorship of the proletariat while destroying the nuclear family. We learned how to contrast that with the freedom of the American Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights with an elected government and not a dictatorship that took away all your rights. We learned to value our God, family, freedom, and the American flag.

Fascism is another system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, an economy subject to stringent governmental controls, and violent suppression of the opposition.

We also learned about Nazism, another form of dictatorship and domination of the population, that hated the Jews and the tragedy of the Holocaust. I can still see those black and white movies we watched in class.

When people who obviously don’t know what they’re talking about throw around slurs of calling people Hitler, fascist, dictator, and racist their ignorance of the meaning of those terms is alarming, especially when they’re often actually describing themselves! Anti-Semite college students praising Hamas terrorists and calling their political opposition Hitler are acting like Nazi’s themselves hating and terrorizing fellow Jewish students.

Liberal progressive teachers and professors who hate the country that’s given them so much have overtaken our education system in America. Many are indoctrinating children with lies and propaganda rather than teaching them the truth and facts about history and why we’re so blessed to live in America and not a socialist or oppressive dictatorship.

The enemy always goes after children because they become the future. Just like Palestinian children being taught to hate Israelite children, North Korea and China indoctrinating and training their children from an early age to hate the west. Sadly, instead of American children being taught to love America and God, they’re being filled with hate for their own county and their own bodies.

Exit polls reveal that Mamdani was elected by LGBTQ,  immigrants less than five years in America, and 70%-80% of the voters were under 30, especially women. The younger voters were either not born yet or too young to remember September 11, 2001 when Islamist terrorists flew two airplanes into the Twin Towers in New York City and one into the Pentagon. The fourth plane’s passengers overtook the terrorists and crashed the plane into a field killing everyone. Who can forget Todd Beamer’s “Let’s Roll”? Or maybe some did forget.

3000 people were killed on 911 and many first responders have since died from the exposure to fire and smoke. Those of us old enough to remember said we would never forget. New York City, the home of Ground Zero, did forget. They didn’t pass down the horrors of that day to the next generation.

After the failed attempt to destroy America from the outside, twenty-four years later, the attack is coming from the inside.

For clarification: Islam is the religion, while a Muslim is a person who follows that religion. In other words, Islam refers to the belief system supported by the Quran, and Muslims are the adherents of that belief. Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion with 1 in 4 people identifying as Muslim. You read that right. Not Christian!

Not every Muslim is militant, but every Muslim needs Jesus! If they live in America, they need to respect our constitutional law, NOT Sharia law, which has been tried in Minnesota and Texas already.

To hear militant Islamists’ ultimate plans, listen to this reel. The Muslim Brotherhood Leaders say they will push Sharia law in America “By Ballot or Bullet.” They’ve been saying this for a long time. First, they’ll get into Congress, then into schools, then state government all of which they’ve done, and ultimately Federal government. Islamist goals are to destroy America, as we know it and replace God with Allah. That’s not Islamophobia, that’s just quoting them!!

You say it will never happen?! It’s happening right now in the Democrat party with Socialists like AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, or “Democratic Socialists” Bernie Sanders and Zohran Mamdani. Many Democrats endorsed Mamdani. Democrats are ripe for Islamic communist takeover as they move further and further to the radical progressive left championing the breakdown of the family, gender confusion, murder of babies, men in women’s sports, defunding the police, soft on crime, invasion of illegals who don’t assimilate but agitate.

In the November 4th election, there were 76 Muslim candidates and thirty-eight were elected. That should set off alarm bells for anyone who understands history and that America was founded on Judeo/Christian beliefs incompatible with Islam.

Why did the Islamist wait twenty-four years to attack New York City again? Because they needed an inexperienced generation who maybe never learned about 911 or an older generation who forgot.

Did all those under 30 voters who voted for 34-year-old Mamdani, including the young women enamored with the charismatic candidate, never learn in school about the financial downfall of countries ruled by Marxist communism? For those who love to go into the streets calling Conservatives “fascist,” did they never learn that communism only works under a real dictator where the people have no rights not given to them by the government? That the government controls your life? That they would never be able to protest or even vote in a dictatorship?

Recently, Democrat Minnesota Gov. Walz slipped and said the quiet part out loud, “Our rights come from the government.” Had Walz and Harris won, that would’ve been their administration’s goal. Walz’s statement describes socialism and communism, not America freedom founded on the belief that our rights come from God. Yet, in Mamdani’s fiery angry acceptance speech as the mayor of an American city, he said something similar to Walz, “We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about.”

If you listen to the next mayor of NYC, he clearly said he hates capitalism and no one should own private property, only the government. As he promised free childcare, free food, free busses free free free . . . every sane person not mesmerized by him knows nothing is free. Someone always pays. It won’t all be paid for by taxing the rich who already pay half the taxes in NYC. Many wealthy business owners will just leave. Then who is going to pay for all the free stuff? And who would trust their child to government care?

Didn’t those young NYC voters hear about Venezuela or Cuba in school? Was communism and socialism glamorized? Were they taught to love America the free or to hate their country that offers an opportunity for ingenuity and prosperity to anyone willing to work and participate in this great Republic? Were they taught in school to hate God and biblical principles and values? What were they taught at home?

Millions of people want to come to America because of our freedoms and our rights as American citizens. If you work hard and save, you can have a good life, maybe even a great life. Freedom is never free!

Jesus Is THE ONLY Hope For the Next Generation and America

I highly recommend listening to Pastor Martin Sedra in this sermon on YouTube “Charlie Warned Us About Islam” where he talks about the Islamisation of the West. He says Muslims come to America or any country to establish Sharia Law. Like Mamdani, they smile and try to engage everyone, even the infidel Christians, Jews, and LGBTQ until they gain power and then they flip. The very next day after Mamdani’s revealing acceptance speech, he put out a video asking for donations and then took off to a luxury resort. By the way he charged his campaign workers on election night $13.00 a beer. No free beer with Mamdani!

Charlie Kirk could see the radicalization and indoctrination of the next generation, like the young man who shot him. Charlie wanted to reach college age and high school students with patriotism and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that, they killed him. And what did the liberal left do? They celebrated Charlie’s assassination.

As happens with martyrs like Charlie, often the cause they died for multiplies tenfold upon their death. The shot that killed Charlie was heard around the world. Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, is going to carry on Charlie’s vision and TPUSA chapters on college campuses and in high schools have exploded in number.

We need to praise God for this and pray for the next generation, the future of America. When I hear of a TPUSA event like the 10,000 students that stood out in the rain at Ole Miss University to hear Erika and VP JD Vance, I praise God. It was so encouraging and inspiring to see all those kids seeking the truth of Jesus Christ and learning how to live out Christian conservative biblical values. I encourage you to watch one of these events or even attend one.

Erika said in an interview that she thinks if Charlie could look down from heaven and see all these kids getting involved with TPUSA spurred on by his death and Jesus asked him if he wanted to come back to earth, Charlie would say no. Jesus changing lives was Charlie’s mission and his vision. Let’s hope and pray our country is saved by Jesus through the next generation who love their country, but most importantly love Jesus!

The Lord warned us to educate the next generation in the Gospel and Truth. Unfortunately, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have educated our next generations. But there’s a bright light of young Christians using social media to reach their generation in a positive way.

The Helms Triplets are three 18-year-old brothers whose parents didn’t let them have social media until they were seventeen. The boys wanted to share Jesus with their classmates and so they made a video on their mom’s phone sharing the gospel and Jesus. The next morning that video had over a hundred thousand views. So they decided to continue on their mom’s phone for six months then they moved their video presentations to their own phones, but that original video has now had over 3 million views!

Their names are Gage, Kaden, and Till Helms. Hearing them share their faith, which hubby and I heard on Flashpoint and Fox & Friends, was so refreshing. Listen to an interview on CBN with them here. God is using these young men in a mighty way. You can find them on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. I encourage you to tell your kids and grandkids about them @3N1Trilogy.

Pastor Jack Hibbs @ Calvary Chapel Chino Hills California held a prophecy conference on the Book of Daniel for high school and college age students with 1000 kids in attendance last weekend. Go Pastor Jack! I hope more pastors do the same.

We Need to Outsmart and Out Pray the Devil!

Today’s Monday Morning Blog will be briefer than usual even though this has been another packed week of events and emotions in our country, I’ve been sick all week. The kind of sick where my hubby willingly had to scrounge up his own dinner while I moan and blow my nose on the couch. I know many of you understand since there are bugs going around that have many of you commiserating with me. And yes, I take a slew of vitamins and elderberry daily and have been doing the iodine nasal spray when I’m around crowds and sick people, but my body was recovering from a skin cancer surgery on my face and I think it was just my time.

So, if you’re sick too or have been recently, you know the drill where you wake up every morning praying that you’re going to feel better and then you don’t. This too will pass. But being sick has allowed me to watch the coverage of many of the Trump cabinet Senate committee “interrogations” in real time and not just clips.

I’ve absolutely been appalled at the anger, yelling, rudeness, attacking, interrupting, lies, taking quotes out of context, projection, hypocrisy, and disrespect spewed from the Democrat Senators against the qualified candidates that President Trump has chosen to work with him in eliminating the atrocities inflicted on our country by the last administration. And here’s the rub. Those screaming Democrat Senators are railing against common sense values and policies that the majority of Americans voted for while voting against the Dem’s unjust woke policies.

Fear is motivating the Democrats hateful unprofessional accusations and verbal assaults. Fear that they’ll be found out for their own actions and personal gain while shamelessly destroying our country. Fear that whatever God is doing in our country will jeopardize their stranglehold on the government. Watching their contorted faces, they looked and sounded demonically possessed. As if they’ve sold their soul to the devil for power, prestige, and position with no real concern for the life of everyday American citizens. I couldn’t help but wonder what type of person votes for these people?

If you watch any of the senate committee sessions, I often refer to as hearings or interrogations, you’ll notice the Democrats were united in their disgusting vile attacks. They had prepared and planned and were unified in belligerent bullying. They’ll also be unified in partisan voting against every qualified Republican candidate who wants to restore power to the people. It was amazing to watch the cabinet candidates for the most part remaining calm and respectful while being verbally assaulted and insulted

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:11-12 NLT “Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back. 12 If a ruler pays attention to liars, all his advisers will be wicked.”

Angry lying fools and advisers is exactly what these Democrat Senators portray. Their godless way of dealing with temperament is rooted in pride. The Democrat Senators who can see their grip on power slipping from their grasp weren’t yelling for the benefit of America, but for self-preservation of their party and more important to them, their own personal power. They’ve learned nothing from their loss and what the American people said they wanted in this last election.

The Democrat minority leader Hakeem Jeffries called for violence at a press conference saying that, “everyday Americans are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda. We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. And we’re gonna fight it in the streets.” Is he trying to emulate President Trump’s iconic, “Fight, fight, fight”? If so, it fell flat. Now they’re going to take to the streets in violence?! How exactly is that going to benefit them or the American people? Another example of “fools venting their anger.”

The new Democrat party leader Ken Martin’s first priority is to set up a “war room” to message against Trump, who he once called a “traitor,” and his posture will be “aggressive against Trump and leading Republicans.“

We need to stay wise and vigilant because we’ve seen that the left does not play fair. These are the same people who mercilessly and unjustly jailed peaceful J6ers. They jailed peaceful pro-life advocates for praying while the Democrat party supports and receives funding from Planned Parenthood that calls “praying violence” and condemns Trump’s pardons of Pro-Life Americans.

The Democrats can’t accept that the MAGA agenda is exactly what millions of “everyday Americans” voted for! Instead, they’re trying to inflict a coordinated systemic attack to block Trump’s nominees to the detriment of the country. They want to delay the government for the people by the people from being able to function. Since the Democrats are in the minority, they’re using rules of the Senate to try to stymie Trump’s agenda. They’re playing a vicious and diabolical game with our government.

A Reoccurring Theme!

The Democrat agenda isn’t about how they can do a better job for our country, but rather what can they do to take down Trump and his supporters. Even Robert Kennedy Jr. in his confirmation hearing pointed to all the Democrat Senators and said, you were all my friends before I supported Trump. Now you’re all against me because you’re against anything Trump does.

They’re blinded by this singular focus as was evidenced with their attempts to take President Trump down before the election. But God spared him from every assault including an assassin’s bullet and Trump knows he was saved for such a time as this. So should we know this as we pray for his protection and godly guidance daily. If God is for him, pity the person who is against him.

As I prayed and pondered about all of this, I realized I was watching the spiritual battle occurring in the heavenlies playing out before my eyes in real time. Satan wants to destroy everything good that God has created from mankind to government to the world. The devil is using lost souls to do his dirty work. All the tragedies we’re watching in shock daily from devastation in North Carolina to apocalyptic fires in California to the horrific plane crashes in DC and Philadelphia to the daily murder of innocent babies have the stamp of the devil written across them.

Sadly, the devil is smarter than most Christians are, even though we know he prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Many Christians, including pastors, have actually joined the culture instead of taking the culture back for God. They’ve gone along with tolerating sexual perversion as a person’s “right” while thousands of young children are being groomed on social media like TikTok and even in our schools and surgically mutilated and castrated by “doctors.” If a male decides he’s a female, we let him invade women’s sports, locker rooms, and private spaces and even call him by his pseudo woman’s name and pronoun. We’ve tolerated gay marriage, an abomination to God.

We’ve cried over babies being murdered in the womb but haven’t been willing to join the fight to protect them. In some cases, the Biden government’s DEI programs have demanded compliance and even prosecuted brave people for objecting to evil wokeness.

How Do We Know What to Speak Out Against and Reject?

Answer: Anything that hurts God’s heart! Period.

We need to be as united in truth as the other side is united in lies and deception. We don’t agree with the devil, ever. If and when we do, we give the devil license to unleash his evil decadence and chaos here on earth as we’ve watched our culture deteriorate. Now we have a chance to take America back not only for common sense conservative values and laws, but more importantly, for God’s biblical values and laws. The left is terrified of this, but God is on our side.

There is power in unity, both for evil and good. It’s time Christians stop fearmongering and stand up for their faith. Anyone who is standing with the Democrats who want to go back to the Biden era are like the Israelites who wanted to go back to Egypt where they were slaves after God set them free! We need to stay involved, stay united, serve where we feel led, and pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Rom. 12:21

The Lies Satan Uses to Deceive Christians and Churches

You’ve heard it said, maybe you’ve said it yourself, “Christians and the church should stay out of politics.” Satan has used that lie effectively to transform America from a country that honored God and godly principles to electing a current administration that bows to evil demonic ideologies. It’s been a steady progression to a tipping point of a 2024 American presidential ticket with two progressive extreme left neo-Marxists! Both of the candidates on that ticket have demonstrated a lack of integrity, honesty, and morals, while embracing Marxist ideologies that attempt to replace God with government.

By trying to become gods without submitting to the God, they rebel against Romans 13:1-2. “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God” (vs. 1).  We’re only to honor government that acknowledges its authority comes from God. Those currently in power, and seeking to keep power, fall under the second verse.  2 “Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority [of God] is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

God has more to say to governing rebels about their insolence.

There are six things the Lord hates—
    no, seven things he detests:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, 18 a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, 19 a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family. Pr. 6:16-19 NLT

How did these kinds of people get into power? We let them! Christians and the church, which should’ve put on their armor of God to speak loudly and boldly against evil and demonic inroads in our government, instead chose complacency, apathy, and silence. What are some of those evil principles you might be asking. Here’s just a few demonic travesties the progressive liberal left champions . . .

  • Federally codify as a “constitutional right” the savage and barbaric murder-on-demand of human babies in the womb, even after birth, calling it “healthcare” or “women’s reproductive rights.” Some blue states, including Minnesota under Governor Walz, have already codified this in their state constitutions and at least two babies in Minnesota were left to die after birth. The destruction of human babies during abortion would be vehemently condemned on rats, but if you speak or pray too loudly to protect human babies from being viciously murdered, you might be arrested.
  • Allow malpractice doctors to hormonally and surgically mutilate and castrate minor children deceitfully calling it “healthcare.” Walz deemed Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for this atrocity on children. Walz will take your children from you if you don’t agree to letting your child’s body be permanently altered and made infertile.
  • Allow unvetted illegal aliens to invade our borders, obtain citizen benefits, vote in elections, and thereby facilitate child sex trafficking and smuggling of drugs killing thousands of children and adults. Harris, the “border czar” for the past 3 ½ years, encouraged and facilitated this invasion.
  • Voter fraud.
  • Incarcerating political prisoners, conducting legal warfare against political opponents, while letting criminals go free.
  • Children taught perverted sex practices in school starting in kindergarten.
  • Children brainwashed and indoctrinated in schools to believe the lie that they can change their gender and parents coerced into agreeing with it, never told, or threatened with loss of parental rights if they don’t agree.
  • Children exposed to obscene and pornographic books in school and public libraries.
  • Forcing people to take an experimental vaccine or lose their job or military status and closing churches, which Walz did in Minnesota during Covid.
  • Allow men to compete in women’s sports, undress and shower in women’s locker rooms, and use women’s bathrooms in schools where governors like Walz put feminine hygiene products in boys’ bathrooms.
  • Pro-Hamas, anti-Israel protests encouraged not condemned, while pulling back support for Israel.
  • Promoting and financing a “climate change” “green new deal” scam/hoax.

You might think what decadent country would allow such evil? You’re living in that country right now! Everything on that partial list is allowed and legalized, either federally and/or in blue Democrat run states.

Yet, how many of you have heard a sermon on any of this evil? How many of you have spoken out against it? How many of you realize that every moral issue we hold dear as Christians is being politicized because Christians stayed silent and let it happen while falling prey to the lie from hell that Christians shouldn’t be “political” or participate in government. That’s like saying Christians shouldn’t be emotional, logical, moral, or take a stand against evil. Instead, Christians should relinquish religious freedoms of their families, friends and neighbors to the diabolical policies of an anti-God government without objecting. Wrong!

Lies straight from the pit of hell. Satan wants Christians to cower as he exerts his authority and power on the world with no pushback from those who have the Holy Spirit’s power inside but fail to tap into it. Just like when the serpent taunted Eve with the famous question that led to sin creating death for us all, “Did God really say that?”

Yes, God told us to combat evil wherever and whenever we see it manifested in our own lives, in the lives of others, and in the public square. Christians have civic duties and responsibilities. The lie that the church should restrict itself to solely preaching the Gospel, but not teach how to take the Gospel into the world to combat evil is from Satan’s playbook, not God’s Holy Book.

God is in Politics!

God created government and politics just like He created every element of our lives and the world. God and godly men got involved in politics throughout the Bible!

From Genesis to Revelation, we see the history of good and bad governments and the destruction of society when an evil regime is in power. Often, a prophet of God gave wise godly political council to leaders like Moses whose father-in-law Jethro told him to establish a government structure. God gave Moses the 10 Commandments laws to govern the people. Daniel and Joseph found themselves in ungodly governments, but didn’t acquiesce or stay silent. Each spoke God’s truth to those in political power and ended up in high positions in government serving righteously. The prophet Samuel anointed Saul as King, but later spoke God’s truth boldly against Saul’s misdeeds. The prophet Nathan confronted King David about using his power in government immorally and Nathan counseled David’s son, King Solomon.

I could go on with biblical examples throughout history. Here’s the point: we need godly men and women today who are willing to serve in government. We need churches encouraging Christians to get involved in developing and supporting righteous laws and combatting evil however and wherever the Lord leads, but especially using their God-given right to vote. There is nothing prohibiting a pastor from telling his congregation to vote their faith and biblical beliefs. He should be discipling and guiding them in what biblically based faith looks like. He can do that in a nonpartisan biblical way.

God didn’t create us to be puppets at the mercy of whoever is in power when they’re evil. God is the ultimate power, but He gave us responsibility and authority to occupy this land until His return. We’re not one-dimensional human subjects or slaves to whomever is in charge. We the people are the government and with prayer and research, we determine who we want to oversee the government structure that works best for the citizens. We’re actually the boss, not the White House.

Political Engagement is An Important Stewardship for Christians!

We’re to infuse God and His ways into every area of life from the family to the frontlines of government. Nothing in the Bible tells us to stand down and submit to evil. Instead, we’re to take our biblical worldview into every corner of the earth and every activity under heaven, including politics and government.

Many argue that politics is divisive and we only want unity in the church. People will always have different opinions over everything from the music to the color of the carpet or maybe even no carpet. It doesn’t mean we don’t talk about our differences and work them out and the same should be said of political views.

The unifying factor is always the Bible. What does the Bible say about all the issues I’ve mentioned in this article? That’s what pastors and congregants should be talking about. Do we just acquiesce to the culture or do we use the Bible and biblical principles to create a revival in culture?!

We’re in our current cultural evil wokeness because of apathy, crowdedness, fear, lack of knowledge, and unwillingness to get involved. The Bible counters every one of those weapons of Satan. In Everyday Brave: Living Courageously as a Woman of Faith, I give examples of fifty women in the Bible and twenty-eight modern-day brave women who understood how to put their faith into action and change history for the good of their families, communities, and in many cases, their nation.

Pastor Jack Hibbs Gets It!

I was thrilled to read in The Christian Post that Pastor Jack Hibbs at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Southern California, one of the bluest and most progressive liberal governed states in the union, is implementing exactly what I’m discussing in this article. He’s not afraid and he refuses to back down and let California be consumed by the anti-Christ spirit that’s been ruling my birth state for far too long. Pastor Hibbs’ church is conducting a “Comeback California Tour” that seeks to equip churches legally and effectively to get involved in the political process ahead of the November general election.

“For several months, I would say at least … four, five months, we’ve been putting our plan together, actual details, inviting the churches where we’re actually stopping, talking to the pastors,” Gina Gleason, who leads the church’s Real Impact ministry that’s devoted to equipping churches “to stand for righteousness in the public square,” told The Christian Post. Churches will also be able “to obtain voter and church-compliant election resources” and interact with local candidates.

“California is at a crossroads, urgently needing the Church’s influence to reverse the moral decline and stand in the gap for our children, families and communities,” the website states. The events are an effort to “unite Christians to bring the values of Scripture and the light of Christ to our state, helping us rebuild and restore our communities,” it adds. 

The “Comeback California Tour” is part of a broader effort by the California megachurch to get churches involved in the political sphere.

That’s what I’m talking about! God created culture to be intertwined with the church. God created politics. Satan is using another lie to separate the Gospel and politics, which aren’t exclusive of each other. They’re dependent on each other. Many people still labor under the lie that the Constitution sets them apart but the Constitution and Bill of Rights were based on the Bible. Only man has tried to separate them. God established the law in the very beginning of time!

I believe the coming election in November will determine whether America experiences God’s grace or judgement. Freedom or Marxism. I believe He’s looking to see how many good men and women there are in the church who aren’t afraid to mix the Gospel with government the way it was always meant to be.

A false Christianity says we’re not to take politics into the church and Christ into government. There’s a mantel on believer’s today just as there was on Elisha, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, all the Old Testament Prophets, Deborah, Esther, Daniel, Joseph, David, John the Baptist, the disciples, and of course, Jesus Christ to witness to all people everywhere whether in church or the public square, “Thus sayeth the Lord. . .”

Jesus didn’t solely preach the Gospel. He covered all of life including sex, marriage, family, gender, lying, finances, health, work, business, children, babies, prodigals, adultery, sin, government . . . everything!

As Christians, we must be part of God’s solution to our nation’s problems, not cower as a silent majority letting our country be destroyed as our failed legacy to our children and grandchildren. We have a moral and spiritual obligation to speak out against evil and share the truth. Would we have been silent about slavery as so much of the church is silent about murdering babies or mutilating children?

What gospel are we preaching when we let evil prevail? Silence actually enables evil. We’re complicit with evil when we do nothing. Because we know who God is, we need to care who the President of our country is because he or she will determine if we’re a country under God or under Satan! Morals or evils will rule in our land!

You can be sure the other side is not going to stay silent. They’re going to get involved in the spiritual and political battle. I know what side I’m on and how I’ll be involved promoting good versus evil in this election, which will determine if we remain a free republic. Please pray for God to lead and guide you where He wants you to go and what action He wants you to take. If we don’t do something together, we’ll lose this nation we love and want to pass on to the next generations.

 O my people, listen to my instructions.
    Open your ears to what I am saying,
2     for I will speak to you in a parable.
I will teach you hidden lessons from our past—
3     stories we have heard and known,    stories our ancestors handed down to us.
4 We will not hide these truths from our children;
    we will tell the next generation
about the glorious deeds of the Lord,
    about his power and his mighty wonders.

The Great Debate that Begs the Question: Who is the Real Commander in Chief of the United States?

This week, we cautiously and with trepidation anticipate the celebration of July 4th in remembrance of our great country winning independence from under the rule of England. So why do I use the descriptive words “cautiously” and “trepidation” when this is typically a day of joyous celebratory parties and BBQs in backyards, parks, and beaches commencing in nighttime fireworks displays? Because most Americans are asking and concerned about, “Whose rule are we under now?”

During the June 27th presidential debate between former President Trump and current President Biden, the world could no longer deny that Biden is president in title only. It doesn’t matter your political or religious persuasion, nationality, or ideology . . . it’s evident to the world that someone else, or a cabal, is running our country and probably has been since January 22, 2021. Americans aren’t truly free or independent right now. An unelected person or people are making decisions and executive actions destroying our free republic. We’re entitled to know who ‘they’ are. Instead of pondering and speculating, Congress should be demanding and investigating answers!

Hal Lindsey put it best in his blog of June 30, 2024:

“If you watched the US Presidential debate on June 27th, you don’t need me to tell you what you saw. If you are a Democrat, the debate probably left you at least somewhat troubled. If you are a Republican, you probably feel that your guy won. Still, I don’t see Republicans dancing in the street. (Come to think of it, I’ve never seen Republicans dancing in the street.) You might expect exuberance from Republicans at so large a perceived victory. Instead, I see Americans of all political persuasions held in the grip of a deep sense of unease.”

Did you ever think we would be living in a time when love of country, respect for the American Flag, and standing for the National Anthem would become controversial? Who is deeming patriotism as racist, toxic, and deplorable?  

The federal government is attempting to divide Americans into identity groups and pit them against each other. Children are taught in school to judge each other by skin color and question their own biological gender! Young children are castrated with their bodies surgically mutilated while a “Biden” trans official pressures the woke organization “The World Professional Association of Transgender Health” (WPATH) to eliminate limits on sex-change procedures for minors?! (Did you even know there was an association like that?)

A radial climate hoax is ruining our economy while millions of unvetted illegals from all countries, including our enemies, storm our open borders. Men invade women’s sports and private areas. Can America Be Saved?

It’s alarming what’s happening in our federal and some state governments, but what’s even more alarming is that many people think merely electing someone else will solve all our problems. It will certainly help, but since the current administration’s agenda is demonic, the only real way to fight Satan is with a populace who understands and appreciates the power of God and persistent prayer while voting their values and beliefs! America must repent and turn to God not government to save our country.

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

I love the song “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood, and I sing along with him, especially the lines, “I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.” But I’m even prouder to be a Christian American!  A follower of Jesus Christ.

The current administrative cabal and the Democrat party are not loyal to America or proud to be American. They continually denounce us as a racist country and claim half the population, at least those who are conservative, Christian, white, drive pickups, and wave American flags, are a threat to our country?!

Instead, they’re attempting to see how far to the extreme Socialist, Communist, Marxist, tribal, racist, liberal, progressive left they can take America. They’re turning America into a country our forefathers wouldn’t recognize. A country where men and women of all colors gave, and continue to give, their lives to defend.

Have you watched a man-on-the-street interview asking people if they know facts about our country’s history? It’s embarrassing. I wonder how many could answer questions about the 4th of July and why it’s a national holiday?

So much of our history is lost in a culture that is trying to rewrite it and has forgotten our Christian roots. Liberal left progressive politicians want to erase our heritage as if it never happened and turn a republic of freedoms into a country of government socialistic control. They make it sound like the freedom of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness isn’t as valuable as the carrots they dangle of free healthcare, free college, free immigration free… free…which the naïve lap up without realizing nothing is free. Americans will pay the price with the loss of sovereignty and personal freedoms that so many brave soldiers gave their life to grant each of us. It will cost us dearly in taxes, independence, and quality of life.

Since the Biden cabal and “sanctuary states” want to give illegals free health insurance, they’ll need to put more than a 70% increase on our taxes to pay for it. How good do you think that healthcare is going to be when stretched to the limits with no money to back it and millions of extra people getting it for “free?” That’s why whoever is running the White House hasn’t given specifics of how they would achieve this.

Some politicians have said we’re the only major country without socialized healthcare. What Americans need to remember is the entire point of July 4th is we didn’t want to be like other nations. Other nations come to America for medical treatment. People are not migrating to other countries or invading other country’s borders; they come to America because we aren’t like other nations. The White House cabal has put out the welcome mat at the expense and threat to American citizens who are being murdered, raped, and robbed.

We Must Return to Our Roots!

For those who try to say we weren’t founded on Judeo Christian values, how do you explain our currency’s motto, “In God We Trust” NOT “In the government we trust”? While the liberal progressive socialist left tries moving our country away from God, Christians must stand in the gap and keep America a blessed nation under God.

The 4th of July celebrates the fight for freedom to be different from other countries. A republic of the people, by the people, and for the people. Where the government works for us NOT controls us.

As you plan your festivities—parades, BBQs, fireworks, pool parties, trips to the beach—how about starting those events with the Pledge of Allegiance, singing the National Anthem, and a prayer to God who has allowed us to live in this great country.

Remind children at the gatherings why you’re celebrating this holiday. Our generation must pass down to the next generation our country’s history and why we don’t want to repeat past mistakes. God has allowed each American to live in the greatest nation in the world, so far. Have you ever opened your eyes in the morning and said thank you God I’m an American? If we take God, freedom, and patriotism out of America, we won’t be able to say that anymore.

Let’s take a stand for what the majority of American people really want and deserve— A country that honors God and His Word first and foremost! Honors our flag and those who went before us to secure our freedoms. A fair justice system that adheres to the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution of the United States of America!

May God bless America and may America be worthy of His blessing!

Revenge of the ‘Normies’!

If you’re like me, you’re longing for a past era when life seemed more normal. A time of universal ethical and moral values adhered to and abided by most people. No one questioned whether they were a boy or girl of if they could do the impossible and change genders. Borders had meaning. Marriage was between a man and a woman. The justice system was trustworthy. White House occupants loved America. You just want to be a “normie” again.

But we’re living in an upside-down world of crazies who try and gaslight us that what we’re paying at the grocery store or gas pump is normal. It’s always been this way and, anyway, you have plenty of money in your pocket to pay inflation costs that the current administration imposes on you. And what’s all the fuss about the border? It’s closed.

No, the border isn’t closed as thousands of unvetted illegals flood across every day and night. No, we don’t believe the inflation rate was 9% when Biden became president! Yes, we know how much we paid for things under President Trump and the inflation rate was 1.4% when he left office. It’s been rising every month since Biden took office. Under Biden, all Americans have faced increasingly higher prices for food, gasoline, and other common household items. And while prices have been going up, wages have been going down, placing additional stress on family finances. That’s not normal!

No, we aren’t better off now than we were under Trump; we’re barely getting by. Oh, and what about the war we’re financing, while pulling support for our ally Israel? What about the Biden administration trying to make you believe it’s normal for naked men and women to gyrate down public streets in front of children in garish outfits with girls kissing girls and guys kissing guys. Not just in the streets, but in children’s programs, TV programs, and movies. Men allowed to play in women’s sports. A presidential cabinet with a man masquerading as a woman, another man married to a man, as Biden brags he has the most diverse staff in history. That would be true, but that doesn’t make it a good thing. It’s not normal!

And what about our justice system, which in the past was something we could tout and trust as the best in the world. Now under Biden, we’ve deteriorated into a banana republic. When he knows there’s no way he can gaslight enough people to vote for him with even Democrats denouncing the party, he resorts to trying to use lawfare to unlawfully imprison his opponent who he can’t beat at the polls. Not normal!

A friend shared a meme with me that reads:

Liberals: “If we could just jail Trump, get rid of MAGA, end the Electoral College, stack the Supreme Court, ban voter ID, and censor free speech, we could save democracy.”

That’s not normal. It’s tyranny, which we’re teetering on the edge of right now.

  • Biden calls normies and mommies terrorists and an existential threat.
  • Clinton calls normies deplorables and a cult that needs deprogramming.
  • Hochul calls normies clowns who should leave New York and go to Florida.

What Does Revenge of the Normies Look Like?

The revenge of the normies has a unique way of showing our dissatisfaction. Instead of creating riots in the streets, importing paid professional protestors, and burning cars and buildings, the normies prayerfully went to their dwindling checkbooks resulting in “record” fundraising for the Trump campaign, which raised nearly $53 million in the first 24 hours after Trump was found guilty of all 34 contrived felony counts in the fraudulent criminal trial in New York City. $34.8 million came in from 6 p.m. ET to midnight immediately after the verdict in the case went public.

The campaign said fundraising was “nearly double the biggest day ever recorded for the Trump campaign on the WinRed platform” and emphasized that the guilty verdicts “have awakened the MAGA movement like never before.” Normies are waking up!

That news is definitely a threat to the Biden campaign and deplorable to Hilary. Hochul isn’t laughing now since she allowed this travesty to take place in her state where everyone knew the judge, jury, DA, and Biden-picked prosecutor would all be Trump haters with the biased and unfair persecution of a political opponent that places New York on the map as a banana republic.

In a normal world, an elderly man with dementia, who can’t be prosecuted in court for his crimes because he is too feeble and forgetful, would not be considered a viable candidate to lead the free world! Only in an abnormal world!

In a normal world, we wouldn’t have an entire month or even an entire day devoted to a secular celebration of taking pride in blatant sin! Only in an abnormal world!

Trying to normalize crazy will NEVER fly with the normies, who must engage with the culture and take action now like only normies can. So, what do we do?

  1. We Pray. Our action should always begin with prayer. But get ready my fellow normies. When you pray, God is going to give you action steps He wants you to take, and you must be ready and obedient when you hear the call. That call will be different for each of us, but you’ll know when God speaks. He’s never coy, always direct.
  2. We Read Our Bibles. Numerous Scriptures apply to our current times. One that I heard on Flashpoint the night of Trump’s guilty verdict was Psalm 112. Even though we might be angry, frustrated, even worried about the thought of another four years under the current regime, God has a plan. Think how long Joseph was in prison before he was elevated to the highest position in the land. Those who are bringing up Trump’s sordid past, I would use Jesus’ admonition from Scripture, “Let any one of you who is without sin, be the first to throw a stone” (John 8:7).

Then there’s the Scripture that’s so hard to follow where we’re told to love our enemies and actually pray for those who persecute us. (Matt. 5:43-48) The way I apply that to the evil I see, especially with Biden who is a pathological liar and so corrupt, is to pray he would have a soul reformation. Wake up one morning to the pride and power that’s overtaken his sense of right and wrong, and repent. Me of little faith, I can’t imagine it happening, but nothing is impossible with God. (Matt. 19:26)

Here’s Psalm 112 that we normies can personalize for ourselves to count it all joy when we encounter persecution and trials or when it seems like evil is winning. (James 1:2-4)

Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord
    and delight in obeying his commands.
2 Their children will be successful everywhere;
    an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.
3 They themselves will be wealthy,
    and their good deeds will last forever.
4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
5 Good comes to those who lend money generously
    and conduct their business fairly.
6 Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
7 They do not fear bad news;
    they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.
8 They are confident and fearless
    and can face their foes triumphantly. They share freely and give generously to those in need.
    Their good deeds will be remembered forever.
    They will have influence and honor.
10 The wicked will see this and be infuriated.
    They will grind their teeth in anger;
    they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.

  1. United We Stand: Satan would love to divide normies and get us going at each other. That would definitely be our downfall. “They” like to call us the silent majority, but we must be silent no more. So many Scriptures tell us to stand strong together. Even when they try to knock us down or divide us, as they will do, we know what we believe and are committed to never give up and never give in! What comes to mind is an old hymn “I Know Whom I Have Believed” published in 1883 by Daniel. W. Whittle

  1. We Vote Our Faith: Normies must vote! We have no right to complain or bemoan our government or the economy when we sit home on Election Day. Statistics show that only one in three Christian normies vote. That’s pathetic. We would not be in the mess our country is in right now if the other two-thirds researched the platforms of those running for office and voted their beliefs and faith. Can you imagine how different our world would be then?!

That’s why I’ve become so involved in serving in the My Faith Votes Ministry. It’s not political. It’s biblical, informative, encouraging, and motivational to take action to get normies off the couch and out to the voting booths. We can make a difference. For those who don’t think voting is worth their time, just look at what’s happening as our country is deteriorating. The men who literally sacrificed everything to give us the Constitution and Bill of Rights thought politics and voting was important to maintain our freedom and many men and women have since risked their life for those freedoms.

Politics has become a dirty connotation, but it runs throughout the Bible starting in the Old Testament. Joseph became the highest political figure in the government, as did Daniel. David was a King. 1 and 2 Kings are devoted to the stories of good and bad political leaders, as are 1 and 2 Judges, 1 and 2 Chronicles. God has used politics for good in the past, but Satan hijacks politics when God’s people aren’t diligent. When Jesus was on trial, people let themselves be persuaded by bad political and spiritual leaders and yelled, “crucify him.”

Normies know better than to be influenced by bad political or spiritual leaders. If we want some semblance of normal back in our country, our lives, and our children’s lives, we must pray, read our Bible, stand together in unity, and vote in the revenge of the normies Jesus-style. We don’t accept as normal or right anything wicked and wrong. We’re not afraid to speak God’s truth to lies and live counterculture. That’s normal!

Don’t Lose HOPE for America

Sometimes we just need to hear some good news amongst the evil that fills the news cycle today. It’s almost as if God is creating a spiritual revival on some college campuses while others are full of destructive hate and violence. No greater evidence of the spiritual war we’re living through now is that while Israel fights for its survival, America retracts support as we experience a steady decline under the current administration.

Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, And whoever curses Israel will be cursed. Numbers 24:9

What’s Happening to College Students Today?!

In last week’s blog, I wrote about the urgent need to protect women’s rights from Biden’s proposed unconstitutional changes to Title IX that would replace biological sex with gender identity allowing men to invade women’s sports. Some have asked, “Where are the feminists who are supposed to be protecting women’s rights? Why aren’t they objecting?”

One icon of feminism in the past, Phyllis Chesler, answered that question in an opinion article subtitled, Feminism is no longer interested in women’s rights, it focuses on identity rights where she wrote:

“Young American women are in precipitous free fall. When they are not agreeing to be “choked” during sex, opting for “lazy girl jobs” on TikTok, becoming stay-at-home girlfriends, raving about a Barbie doll movie, or dressing like Taylor Swift, they are out marching or sitting in for everything except women’s rights. 

“It is a sorry sight to behold: college-age American women committing civil disobedience on behalf of savagely misogynistic terrorist organizations; hypnotically joining in Muslim prayers on campus and happily donning hijab – even as Muslim women in Iran and Afghanistan are being jailed and even murdered for refusing to do so. There they are, these faux-feminists, speaking on panels and demonstrating for prison reform and against the police.

“Like the Democrat Party, they too are no longer interested in a sex-based Equal Rights amendment but in an amendment geared to Identity Rights. In their view, it is only “fair” that transwomen, (aka men), be allowed to compete with “cisgender” women (aka real women), in sports, occupy women-only jails, share locker rooms, showers and bathrooms with those who menstruate, get pregnant, give birth, breast-feed, experience menopause, etc.”  

Sadly, Chesler just described the indoctrinated and radicalized pro-terrorist female, and male, students on many college campuses today, ignorantly and complicitly manipulated by evil. We lament that they represent the future that could destroy our country if they don’t come to their senses soon.

Revival Is Congruently Taking Place!

At the same time these social atrocities are happening on some college campuses, revival is also happening on other college campuses. Hundreds responded to the gospel, gave their life to Christ, and were baptized this past March at the University of Alabama where thousands of students gathered. The spiritual awakening that we first saw last year at Asbury College shows no signs of slowing down.

Hundreds were also baptized at Auburn University last fall and Florida State University in February. Just two weeks ago, 8,000 students gathered on the campus of the University of Tennessee at a Unite US event geared toward GenZers that presents the Gospel message to students at different college campuses. At Unite US latest event in Thompson-Boiling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, 5000 students gathered with hundreds dedicating their lives to Christ and baptizing over 120 students outside the arena.

One church in Tampa recently baptized almost 1,000 people at the beach and The Church of Eleven22 baptized more than 1600 people on the shores of Hanna Park Beach in Jacksonville, Fl. last week. Praise God! “It doesn’t get much better than that,” said Pastor Joby Martin, founder and lead pastor of The Church of Eleven22, in a statement. “The church is alive and well, the Spirit of God is on the move, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is still changing lives as it has for thousands of years.”

On May 8, the 79th anniversary of the Nazis surrendering to the allies, Sean Feucht’s “Let Us Worship” ministry hosted an inter-faith “United for Israel Rally” at the University of Southern California (USC), one of the many universities plagued with anti-Israeli protestors calling for “Death to Israel” and “Death to America.” Instead of those hate-filled chants, Christian worship music filled the streets of Los Angeles as Christians, Jews, and Muslims chanted a different message: “Never Again!” and “Jewish Hate Must Go!”

This was a follow-up to a similar march and rally by Feucht in April at Columbia University in New York City, drawing 4500 attendees! Feucht told CBN News he believes the “United for Israel” rally can change “the entire environment” of what is taking place in the nation. “They come with darkness, violence, and hate. We come with unity, hope, and joy!”

“More than anything I feel like this gives hope to America,” Feucht said. “There are people that are going to rise up with courage and boldness, that are going to say, ‘Enough. We’re going to stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters; we’re going to respond to the command in Genesis 12 that says, ‘I’ll bless those who bless you. I’ll curse those that curse you.'”

And who can forget the opening picture of this blog where a dozen University of North Carolina frat brothers encountering protesters pelting them with insults and flying water bottles, stood their ground around the American flag and didn’t allow it to be taken down or touch the ground.

“These people wanted to tear down the flag, and we were there to protect it,” Pi Kappa Phi member Brendan Rosenblum said. “Me and my friends did not allow that to happen.”

The standoff began when pro-Palestinian protestors raised the Palestinian flag on the pole. UNC Chancellor Lee Roberts, accompanied by police officers, took it down and re-hung the U.S. flag, which was flying at half-staff in honor of the law enforcement officers killed in Charlotte.

When Roberts left and protesters tried again to take down the American flag, Rosenblum, some of his fraternity brothers, and other students stepped in. They surrounded the flagpole and kept the big flag from touching the ground. Rosenblum also held an Israeli flag.

“All of us felt that America, and the American flag — and for me, the Israeli flag — represent what we believe in,” he said.” And we weren’t going to let anyone stop us from keeping those two things up.”

Country music star John Rich commented: “When I saw the guys at UNC holding that flag up, making sure it did not hit the ground, it told me a lot about them.” Rich said it’s easy to watch TV the last few weeks and believe that every college student hates America, but the UNC fraternity brothers give him hope. “I hope that these guys inspire … young patriots across the country to do the exact same thing,” he said. 

At LSU and Ole Miss, Pro-America students outnumbered those calling for the death of Jews. I’ve also been encouraged, and yes hopeful, as I’ve heard some interviews of well-spoken college students who lament what’s happening on their campuses where non-protesting and Jewish students can’t even get to classes or the campus is closed entirely. Their disgust with the protesting students gives me hope that there are still good, smart, intelligent, moral, patriotic kids coming out of these colleges.

Sadly, many of the same students who missed high school graduation in 2020 because of school closers during COVID are going to miss their cherished college graduation canceled because of the violence that might take place from the students siding with ANTIFA, terrorists, and jihadists. It’s definitely not fair or right that all students should suffer because of a few misguided bad actors, but then isn’t that the reality of life. I hope that they’ll be stronger for it and want to make sure their generation doesn’t let it happen again.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5

Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) encourages us and gives hope that, “Against the backdrop of anti-Israel protests, violence, and death chants among colleges and universities recently, some GenZers are choosing instead to uplift Jesus Christ.”

This is what revival looks like.

Don’t Lose Hope! God is Moving!

Even as anarchy takes place on some college campuses, there’s a spiritual awakening on other college campuses and even in some churches that God alone can take credit for, as we continue to intercede for the next generation and our nation.

Only God! Only Jesus!

For the Sake of the Girls, Stop the Craziness!

We attended our granddaughter’s volleyball tournament this past weekend and as I cheered her on, I was thanking God she wasn’t having to compete against boys in a girls’ volleyball league. She’s a petite high school sophomore and a star player on her team. I tried to envision the nightmare of what it would be like if there was a 6 ft. tall muscular man on the opposing team as one girls’ high school basketball team experienced and refused to play against biological male players saying, “It’s Not Right!”

When a Vermont Christian school withdrew its girls’ basketball team from a playoff game because of a transgender player on the other team, the team was banned from state athletics!

Not fair! Not Right!

A Massachusetts high school girls’ basketball team forfeited a game after a 6 ft. transgender male player on the opposing team injured three of their players. The Coach did the right thing and pulled the team. Here’s a video discussion.

Five West Virginia girl middle schoolers protested a “transgender” male participating in their track and field competition by stepping into the shot-put circle for their turn before refusing to throw in the event, which was won by the male taking puberty-blockers and estrogen hormone therapy. The school’s answer was to bar the brave bold girls from future meets, even though West Virginia law bans transgender “girls” from playing on girls’ sports teams, a recent federal appeals court ruled that the law couldn’t lawfully be applied to this particular eighth-grade boy!?

Not fair! Not Right!

Fortunately, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey filed a lawsuit against the Harrison County Board of Education on the dissenting girl students’ behalf. 

Kudos to all these young girl athletes bravely standing up against this evil and saying we’re not going to take this anymore! Sadly, this is what it’s going to take, along with the support and encouragement of parents and grandparents with our voices and our votes!

In what world does a man failing in men’s sports decide he’s going to wake up one morning and “identify” as Jenny instead of Jerry so he can excel against biological women because of his muscle mass, bone density, and testosterone levels, which afford him advantages in physical strength and endurance? And in what world do the governing authorities agree with this insanity?

Well, that would be in Biden’s crazy world! He will do anything no matter how evil or wrong to try to get votes and maintain power to continue this insanity. The Biden Administration has rescinded over 50 years of progress and equality of opportunity for women by radically redefining biological sex as “gender identity” in Title IX.

During the Trump administration, the phrase “gender identity” was banned from insertion into Title IX. Biden’s unconstitutional immoral actions are a step backwards for women’s rights, jeopardizes student safety and privacy, and destroys fairness in women’s sports. It essentially de-titles Title IX in its meaning and purpose, which was to assure women of fair and equal opportunities in sports. Men playing in women’s sports isn’t an equal playing field and robs actual women of their place on teams!

Yes, I’m fired up about this, as every parent, grandparent, and person with a conscience should be! When a confused, mentally unbalanced, or opportunist child decides they don’t like the gender God gave them and wants to reconstruct their body and the adults in schools, medical and government communities, and even some parents condone this absurdity, it takes us back to the Garden of Eden where the serpent asked Eve, “Did God really say that?”

Yes, God really did say in Genesis 1:27 that men are men and women are women. ONLY Satan would try to confuse or question something so biologically and biblically obvious and then ensnare just enough people in authority to go along with it. Nowhere in the laws of nature does this occur.

Animals don’t try to change their sex or have sex with the same gender. Homosexuals do not exist in the natural animal kingdom.

Animals don’t intentionally kill their own offspring in the womb.

Only humans deceived by Satan try to defy God and His laws. God, who reveals Himself in nature and in His laws, the Holy Bible.

We Must Object Loudly to the Title IX Revision that Defies God’s Laws and Erases Women

Moms for Liberty have created a Toolbox for concerned citizens and parents to take action against this atrocity and power grab for votes from a fringe group, while I would hope alienating sane parents, grandparents, churches, legislatures, and school administrators no matter what side you take in the political arena. Boys are boys and girls are girls, and they should ONLY play in sports against their own biological sex.

Here is some information from the Moms for Liberty Title IX Fact Sheet that summarizes what is happening, if you don’t already know. The Biden Administration timeline on upending and comprehensively altering Title IX is as follows:

  • March 8, 2021: Biden issued an Executive Order on Guaranteeing an Educational Environment Free from Discrimination on the Basis of Sex, Including Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity.
  • June 23, 2022: New Title IX regulations were proposed. The Department of Education received a record number of public comments from parents, many who expressed concern about their children’s safety in schools, and what the amendments will mean for women’s sports.
  • April 19, 2024: The Biden Administration released new Unofficial Guidelines for Title IX, effective August 1, 2024.

With over 1,500 pages of regulations, the U.S. Department of Education has redefined the fundamental framework of Title IX without congressional authorization by expanding the definition of “sex” to include not just biological sex, but also “sex stereotypes, sex-related characteristics (including intersex traits), pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity.”

The new Title IX regulations are unconstitutional, erase women and girls, eliminate due process, compel speech, and strip parents of their fundamental right to direct the upbringing of their child including decisions regarding their education, medical care, morality, and religion. Title IX now requires:

  • that schools treat students who suffer, or claim to suffer, from gender dysphoria as though they were the opposite sex.
  • that a male student who identifies as a female must be allowed access to facilities designated for females such as bathrooms or locker rooms and to participate in women’s sports and organizations.
  • teachers and students must refer to a gender dysphoric child by her preferred pronouns and alternative name.
  • that no formal documentation be required to affirm gender identity. Additionally, if the administration has not provided a clear definition of gender identity, a male student could easily switch between identifying as male or female.

Other IX repercussions include:

  • that when a female student opposes having a male on a team or in an organization intended only for women, or who feels uncomfortable sharing a locker room with a male, the female in opposition may now not only incur social stigma, but also the possibility of legal repercussions for her school, team, or organization.
  • that while Title IX does not strictly require transitioning be kept secret from parents, in the event of a conflict between Title IX and the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), key words like “sex-based harassment” and “hostile environment sex-based harassment” overrides FERPA, thus opening the door to conceal the transitioning process.

Idaho and Other States Are Pushing Back!

During the 2024 State Legislative session, Idaho passed the following bills before they adjourned which could now be in jeopardy if this new Title IX is enforced. Idaho, and other red states with similar laws, cannot let this happen. Without congressional approval, this revised Title IX is set to go into effect August 1, 2024 as the new school year starts. The 10th Amendment should protect state laws like Idaho’s and the Federal Government shouldn’t threaten the states with removing federal funds from schools that don’t comply.

  • Idaho passed Bill 538, which stipulates schools cannot require staff or students to use preferred pronouns or names. Idaho became the seventh state in the country to protect teachers and other state employees who use biological accurate pronouns.
  • House Bill 421, “In human beings, there are two, and only two, sexes: male and female. In no case is an individual’s sex determined by stipulation or self-identification.” Most notably, in addition to ruling that sex and gender were synonymous, this bill “codifies in state law biological definitions for ‘woman,’ ‘man,’ and other sex-based terms, making [Idaho] the fifth to exclude men who identify as women from being legally recognized as female.”
  • The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on April 15 that Idaho may again enforce the protection of minors from life-altering transgender procedures written into State law last year. The ruling comes after Idaho’s Attorney General Raul Labrador filed an emergency request in February for the Supreme Court to block a lower court’s order halting the State’s implementation of the law. America First Legal uncovered communication from Richard Levine in the Biden Administration trying to use the Federal Government to evade the state bans that the Supreme Court upheld!
  • House Bill 668, blocks the use of public funds for “gender transition procedures.” 
  •  Senate Bill 1352 protects mental health professionals from being forced to provide unethical care that “affirms” harmful lifestyles. According to statewide public opinion polling commissioned by Idaho Family Policy Center, more than 56% of likely Idaho voters agree that counselors and other mental health providers should not face legal or professional consequences for providing talk therapy intended to help patients overcome unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion.

We must NOT back down from our moral state laws and more importantly God’s Laws!!!

As of this writing, at least twenty Republican-led states have filed lawsuits against the Biden administration for expanding the definition of sex in Title IX civil rights law to include “gender identity,” a move state leaders fear will force schools to deprive women of protections or risk losing their federal funding. Attorneys general in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana and Idaho filed two separate lawsuits against the U.S. Department of Education’s new Title IX regulations. Governor of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has signed an executive order that Arkansas will not comply with Biden’s Title IX changes. Let’s pray more states join these lawsuits.

A Collision of Light and Darkness

The current news is rightly focusing on the horrific pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, anti-Jew protests occurring on college campuses. But as we watch students acting out their Marxist/Jihadist indoctrination, we can’t let the war against women get lost in the chaos.

We’re watching a collision of light and darkness. We cannot let darkness win. Demonic Islamic Jihadist/Pro-terrorist protests against the Jews and Israel are something we never expected to see in America, just like who would’ve ever imagined men would impersonate women to infiltrate women’s sports?!

In 2 Kings 6:17-20, Elisha prays for the Lord to open his servant’s eyes to see the hills full of horses and chariots of fire revealing God’s divine protection surrounding them against the enemy. We might not see God at work right now, but we know when we align with Him, He always wins for us. The problem is too many good Christians stay on the sidelines afraid to get involved and live out our faith for a living loving God.

Many have settled for safe faith, but we’re called to infuse light into our culture that’s shrouded in darkness. I heard the term “righteous rebellion” used to describe saving our families and our country. God is calling us to do the wild thing. Get involved. Take a stand. Whether it’s protecting the truth of biological sex to protect girls and women, protecting the Jews and Israel, saving the babies, getting out the vote . . . ask God where He wants to use you and then get involved.

For the sake of the girls, for the sake of God’s kingdom here on earth, be bold for what you believe. Live for Christ.

How To Respond When Labeled a “Christian Nationalist”!

This isn’t the first time I’ve discussed Christian Nationalism. In August 2022, I wrote They Called Jesus and His Followers Names Too! — Woman to Woman Mentoring. The difference now is that when they first began slandering Christians who love God, family, and country, they racialized it with “White Christian Nationalism” in an attempt to link us with their definition of “White Supremacy.” They’ve dropped “white” because people of all colors are rejecting the Marxism infiltrating our country, families, schools, and unfortunately, even some churches.

There’s an adversarial undercurrent of anti-Christian religiophobia bleeding into a country founded on Judeo/Christian values, morals, and principles. Like many other terms liberal progressives originate, they define and vilify “Christian nationalism.” As liberals, progressives, and atheists attempt to change history, the Constitution, and the morals of America, we must restore and protect the threatened rights and values of Christians for the betterment of the Nation.

Christ called the church and every Christian to occupy until He returns. We can’t sit in the bleachers while God is removed from the public square, children indoctrinated and mutilated, and immorality becomes the law of the land. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. Luke 19:13 (KJV)

The church cannot remain neutral. We’re way beyond the era of neutrality. The church has the answers to the evils of our time, but their deafening silence implies consent and complacency in the face of blatant attacks on Christianity and Jesus.

God doesn’t require only some of us to be bold and brave (Josh. 1:9). He wants every Christian to take action no matter what names or insults the enemy slings! You don’t have to receive the insults. Hold up your shield of faith to stop and extinguish the fiery darts and arrows of the devil. (Eph. 6:16)

We all have a right and responsibility to vote our biblical convictions to support candidates who share our values. That means Christ-followers need to participate in the political process because everything has become politicized. Politics has invaded the moral arena of the church, and the church must stand its ground and invade politics. That’s constitutional. Our founding fathers didn’t create a solely Christian nation, but they saw the value in a God-inspired nation.

The false narrative hyped by the manufactured term ‘Christian nationalism’ is that Christians are promoting the belief that the United States should exclusively be governed by and for the benefit of Christians. This is a crafty sly attempt of Satan to discourage Christians from becoming involved in politics.

Case in point—POLITICO reporter, Heidi Przybyla, recently went on MSNBC and claimed that Christians who believe our rights are derived from God are “Christian nationalists.” She claimed this didn’t represent all Christians, just the “extremist element.” Here’s her comments that fortunately generated loud and abundant pushback: “The things that unite them as Christian nationalists—not Christians, by the way, because Christian nationalist is very different—is that they believe that our rights as Americans, as all human beings, don’t come from any earthly authority. They don’t come from Congress. They don’t come from the Supreme Court. They come from God.” [Imagine that!]

“The problem” she continued, “is that they, man, men, [as she gleefully smiles to the men she’s talking to] are determining what God is telling them and in the past that so-called natural law is a pillar of Catholicism for instance it’s been used for good in social justice campaigns. Martin Luther King Jr. evoked it in talking about civil rights, but now you have an extremist element of conservative Christians who say that this applies specifically to issues including abortion, gay marriage, and it’s going much further than that.”

She labeled “conservative Christians” as extremists! What Bible-believing Christian isn’t conservative? She exemplified her ignorance of Christianity while attempting to divide Christians. They know if we stay united in the belief that Our God Reigns, we’ll have more power to keep our country on the right moral track. But they’re winning this spiritual battle for good versus evil because sadly, one in three Christians don’t vote! Only 37% of pastors have a biblical worldview. 62% have a hybrid worldview. Let that sink in. That’s exactly why our country is on a fast track away from the plans God had, and has, for our nation.

Heidi Przybyla’s ridiculous commentary depicts how those slinging arrows at Christians not only don’t understand Christianity, they’re ignorant regarding the documents that guide our nation, starting with The Declaration of Independence, which declares:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The founding fathers understood that if government grants rights, government could also take them away. But if our fundamental rights are ultimately derived from God, no government could remove them. Our nation’s forefathers knew that freedom wouldn’t work without the underpinning of biblical morality. Today, our nation’s foundation is eroding because we’re a nation moving away from the Bible and God and replacing Him with government.

God is and will always be the head of the government, no matter who sits in the White House. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Is. 9:6

God used courageous men who said if we die, we die, to write our nation’s founding documents, largely influenced by their pastor’s sermons! George Washington, our first President, took his oath with one hand on a Bible, raised his right hand, and added to the oath “so help me God.” When the oath was finished, he knelt over and kissed the Bible. Yet, many are allowed to tear down statues of Washington or change the names of schools that bore his name. The undercurrent of Satanism and Marxism.

We should unashamedly embrace being a Christian and an American in this great Nation. Otherwise, the same thing will happen to our country as happens to your body if you ignore a cancer within it.

Dr. David Jeremiah writes in “Turning Points Magazine” February 2024, “We hear the phrase ‘halls of power’ mentioned in political discussions, referring to the domains of government authorities. Within those walls, deals and decisions are made which gives the impression of power—the ability to direct the destinies of people and nations. But true power resides with God not men. As Daniel expressed in Babylon, ‘Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and [power] are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings’ (Daniel 2:20-21).”

And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of his might power. Eph. 1:19

Dave and I are going to watch it for the second time. You’ll see how closely America today parallels Hitler’s takeover in Europe when only 1/3 of the churches realized what was happening. When the complacent or indifferent 2/3rds finally woke up, it was too late. We’re in a window where we can make a difference, and that’s why we can’t be bothered or worried about the names and labels they try to put on us to slow us down, even though people like “Meathead” shamefully try to compare Christians to Nazi’s. We need to pray for that lost deceived soul.

Today, we’re free. Tomorrow, we might not be if we become fearful, intimidated, or self-censored by those with wicked motives to silence and cancel us. Remember, the purpose behind this smear campaign is to intimidate Christians from sharing their faith, political views, running for office, and voting. We must never let them win this evil hate campaign.

How To Respond to Christian Nationalism Slurs

Often our first reaction, at least mine, is to go on the defensive against attacks on my faith or patriotism. But the best way to respond to any challenge is with questions that either put the slanderer off guard or cause them to think. Don’t be surprised however if they don’t answer your questions, but instead try to divert the conversation to another one of their talking points. Even so, hold your ground and never deny or apologize for your faith or political position.

 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. 2 Tim. 1:7-8

Here are some suggested responses that open a door for sharing your faith when you’re called a Christian nationalist.

  • Ask: “Yes, I’m a Christian. What are you?”
  • If they stumble, or even if they say they’re a Christian, then ask: “What does being a Christian mean to you?” That allows you to share the true biblical Gospel if they don’t understand Christianity.
  • After you explain the gospel, ask: “Why would you have a problem with me sharing the life-saving message of Christianity?”

Next, tackle nationalism.

  • “Did you know that God is a nationalist of Heaven with boundaries, entrance requirements, and the government rests upon His shoulders?
  • “Yes, I’m blessed to be a citizen with the freedoms and rights of this great Nation. Aren’t you proud to be an American and live in this country too, or is there somewhere else you’d rather live?”
  • Did you know that America was founded on biblical roots and principles?
  • America has been the light on the hill for other nations. If we don’t succeed by holding strong to our national values, what other country in the world is going to come and rescue us like we rescue so many other nations?
  • Yes, I’m a patriotic Christian like Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, and Martin Luther King Jr. Do you have a problem with them?

The Prayer Heard Around the World

You’ve probably heard by now about California Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, who Speaker of the House Mike Johnson invited to give the invocation prayer to open Congress on January 30, 2024. Speaker Mike Johnson is a Christian who himself opened Congress in prayer when he became Speaker and unequivocally pronounced that he holds a biblical worldview. As the uproar ensued, he never backed down from that statement. I pray for him every day because it’s evident God has him there for a purpose.

In his prayer, Pastor Hibbs called for “Humility and repentance of national sins in a time of great need.” He also closed his prayer in the Name of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, which he said several times. You can hear and watch Pastor Hibbs read and discuss the prayer @ The Prayer Heard ‘Round the World (youtube.com).

Twenty-six members of Congress were incensed at Pastor Hibb’s prayer and wrote a letter to Speaker Johnson accusing Hibbs of being “an ill-qualified hate preacher who was pushing a “Christian nationalist agenda.” The opening paragraph read, “Pastor Hibbs is a radical Christian nationalist who helped fuel the January 6th insurrection.” Of course, that wasn’t an insurrection and Pastor Hibbs had nothing to do with January 6th but in their attacks, they hurled slurs and slander as the letter went on to blast his character saying the pastor “has a long record of spewing hateful vitriol toward non-Christians, immigrants and members of the LGBTQ community. He should never have been granted the right to deliver the House’s opening prayer on Jan. 30, 2024.”

Who knew prayer could have such a reaction from those who don’t even believe in God and prayer?!

Praise God, Pastor Hibbs hasn’t acquiesced or apologized as so many others do when attacked for sharing the truth. Instead, with his typical good humor, he said in a statement to Fox News, “I’m quite impressed, as I didn’t know I had such power. This is just part of their way of labeling and is void of fact.” 

He also said in California pastor Jack Hibbs answers Democrat critics of his prayer to Congress, “when these progressives speak about ‘radical Christian nationalists,’ they’re using verbiage reminiscent of the rise of the Third Reich under the leadership of Adolf Hitler. Hitler, as well as communists, Marxists and socialists, are known to label and vilify those who disagree with their ideologies.”

In the same article, theologian, author and speaker Dr. Alex McFarland, based in North Carolina, said that Christian nationalism is a phrase that the left more or less coined to strike fear in the hearts of liberals to equate it almost as terrorism. Yet McFarland said, “I love God. I love my country. If that makes me a Christian nationalist … I’m proud to be one.”

Hibbs agreed, saying, “The fact is that a Christian nationalist is a Christian who happens to live in a nation … Jeremiah 29:7 says that you should ‘seek the welfare of the city in which I have planted you for the betterment of all.’”

On a “Lighthouse Faith” podcast, Pastor Hibbs reacted to the Democrats’ accusations, saying, “You know, I was honored to pray. And what a lot of people don’t realize is that … two thirds of my prayer was simply lifted, in part, from ancient prayers, so to speak, from 1774.” He was referring to the First Prayer of the Continental Congress given by the Rev. Jacob Duche, rector of Christ Church of Philadelphia, on Sept. 7, 1774.

Pastor Hibbs is author of “Daze of Deception: How to Discern Truth from Culture’s Lies,” based on a sermon series he preached in his church. He makes no excuses for being a Christian with orthodox biblical beliefs and love of America. 

Hold the Line and Let Us Worship Leader, Sean Feucht summarizes well, “I refuse to cede defining “Christian Nationalist” to those who weaponize and politicize the dictionary. If you can’t properly define what a woman is, you lose the right to define “Christian Nationalist. . . The insidious use of language by the left goes deeper than that. This is not simply name calling. It’s the left’s attempt at voter suppression. A Believer too discouraged to vote is a victor for the left THAT’s their goal. Power.” Defining “Christian Nationalism”
