The Devil Always Reveals What He’s Afraid Of!

On November 8, 2021, I wrote a blog, “They’re Coming for Our Children.”

Well, “they’re” still coming for our children.

Who are the “they”?

Liberal left Democrats . . .

Legislators. Congressional representatives. Governors. Sexual perverts. Rainbow, Trans, Drag cults. Sexual ideology (I don’t even want to honor it here with their initials). Woke. DEI. Schools. Teachers Union. Some teachers. Medical professionals. Surgeons. Hospitals. Doctors. Judges. Islamists. Socialists. Atheists. Liberal media. Sex traffickers. Perverts. Radical activists.

They are knowingly, or maybe unknowingly, the devil’s pawns.

They’ve become disciples of demonism.

They’re advancing the devil’s agenda to destroy the minds and morals of pliable young children.

They claim to want accountability for the Epstein files, while thousands of unaccompanied children were trafficked over the border and lost during the Biden administration!

They campaign for the murder of children in the womb up through birth and babies surviving botched abortions are by law left to die in states like Oregon!

They stump for the horrific sexual mutilation of children by the medical profession and in San Diego last week a judge literally forced a hospital to keep mutilating and destroying children’s lives. The epitome of demonism.

They want young school age children exposed to X-rated books as young as kindergarten. A teacher in Nashville who didn’t want to read a mandatory “language arts curriculum” book about same-sex marriage to his first-grade class was reassigned to a lab position, even though he asked for a religious exemption which was denied.

“The principal indicated that the belief in same-sex marriage is so fundamental to the language arts unit that Mr. Rivera could not possibly be permitted to teach in any portion of the unit, and therefore had to be removed from the first-grade classroom,” according to First Liberty who represented the teacher.

In Florida, a school board voted to keep a graphic animal sex book on school library shelves and there are so many other examples of this in school libraries.

How does any Christian teacher teach today without violating their Christian beliefs?

You’ve probably seen disgusting video clips of gay and trans crossdressing teachers bragging about how they discuss their sexual preferences and liberal Trump-hating political beliefs with their young classes. Is DEI forcing schools to hire these radical teachers?

CBN News broke the story about Secretary of War Pete Hegseth firing a FT. Bragg teacher who identifies as a “trans wolf” with the name ‘Lilith Deathhowl.’ Parents had been upset since early 2025 that administrators hadn’t taken action to remove the teacher after he engaged in “disturbing behavior” that involved dressing in feminine clothing in class, as well as wearing a dog collar with fetish tags and an animal tail.

A letter from Liberty Counsel, which had been calling on the Department of Defense Education Activity to remove the teacher from the classroom, reported that the teacher had involved children in his sexual fetishes by:

telling students he turns into a “wolf” at night – his fetish animal;
directing them to howl like wolves;
requiring them to call him by some of his online wolf character names;
requiring his students to address him by inaccurate female names and pronouns;
and telling the children he is “actually a woman” who “likes boys.”

Parents reported that their children felt scared and anxious after the teacher flaunted his sexualized persona. One mother told Liberty Counsel that her daughter expressed fear, saying, “Mommy, I’m scared he’s going to come eat me,” referring to statements the teacher made about turning into a wolf at night.

School principals and teachers are encouraging children to walk out of school and become anarchists protesting ICE law enforcement.

Teachers can’t talk about Jesus; but they can talk about perverted sex, fetishes, and politics to groom young children?!

Why Are Our Children Under Attack By Satan?

Answer: The devil hates God and children are created in God’s image. Christian families have the potential to produce little Christians, which Satan hates.

The devil hates school choice!

The devil is afraid the young are going to rise up and be a source of revival and his rival in America.

So he’s killing them through abortion or drugs.

Or destroying their bodies and minds with sexual identity confusion, fetishes, hormones, and mutilation surgeries.

Addiction to electronics and social media.

Radicalizing them to acts of violence, where they’re often killed.

Suicide.

Whether a Christian or not, discerning people know that a young child who isn’t old enough to live on their own, drive, buy alcohol, fill a prescription, even buy aspirin, vote, or get a tattoo or their ears pierced without parental permission, shouldn’t make decisions that medically and physically alter their bodies and reproduction capabilities for life.

Yet the rainbow mafia, trans lobbyists, and advocates have convinced the left to champion not only tolerance of trans ideology, but encouraging and in some cases legally forcing, parents to let their children be castrated and mutilated.

Big medicine saw the value of having a patient for life knowing that biologically a man cannot become a woman or vice versa no matter how many body parts you cut off or how many hormones you drug them with.

God made us either a man or woman for life, but many people bought into the devil’s lie and used children as a demonic experiment that has destroyed the lives of millions of children, some of whom are now old enough to realize the damage they were allowed to do to their body and are winning malpractice lawsuits.

That’s a wakeup call to the medical cash cow. Instead of raking in money for mutilating children, they’re now forced to pay. Money can never replace what these children have lost.

Even the Plastic Surgeons Association is admitting that surgically mutilating children is a horrendous practice. The AMA also issued a statement recommending these surgeries be deferred until adulthood, but hopefully they too will adhere to President Trump’s executive order when he first took office to stop this medical malpractice on innocent children and fearmongering their parents into compliance.

A plastic surgeon who trained at a major Manhattan hospital is now apologizing for failing to “speak up” after witnessing minors as young as 13 undergo “irreversible” gender surgeries.

“As a father to three young children and as a physician who took an oath to do no harm, I failed to speak up, and I just want to thank President Trump for having more clarity on this,” Dr. Ira Savetsky said on “Fox & Friends.”

Now he’s speaking up because the hospital he works at after pressure from President Trump’s threat to cut off funds is discontinuing their “Transgender Youth Health Program.”

The doctor’s defense for not speaking up sooner: “You work so hard to get there… you don’t want to make waves.”

Savetsky now questions the pressure families receive when their child questions their gender. “I can only imagine what the parents were going through. I mean, they’re told that their child is going to kill themselves if they don’t have these surgeries. They’re pressured, and what are you supposed to do? You’ve dropped everything to do the right thing for your child, and I think that, unfortunately, there was a lot of financial motivation with these institutions.”

Dr. Savestsky knew transgender surgeries on children was wrong and went against his oath to do no harm but he didn’t want to jeopardize his own career. He was a coward. He didn’t speak up until President Trump made it easier for him.

He and his profession are responsible for the children who after having their physiological system flooded with hormones and multiple surgeries commit suicide. Or turn violent and go on shooting sprees often being killed or killing themselves. No man should ever experience PMS nor a women become masculinized.

God didn’t create us to try to become something we’re not.

While liberals have imposed tolerance, affirmation, and acceptance, these children didn’t receive the qualified mental illness treatment and access to spiritual counseling they needed. It’s like instead of getting psychological and medical help for a child with anorexia, you instead let them starve themselves to death while affirming how great their deteriorating body looks. What doctor or parent would ever do that?

This debate isn’t about hate—it’s about medical ethics, child development, and parental rights. Riley Gaines, an advocate for keeping men out of women’s sports, argues that doctors should help kids and parents navigate confusion with care and patience, not label them as “born wrong.” For many parents, that’s a reasonable line: protect children from irreversible decisions while they’re still growing.

Kids deserve compassion and caution. Most families believe major medical interventions should wait until adulthood, with parents—not activists or institutions—making those calls. A serious issue deserves honest discussion, evidence-based medicine, well-documented research, and respect for families.

Trans ideology must be treated as the demonic threat that it clearly is to everyone. There’ve been multiple shootings, including of family members, at the hands of transgenders.

Other types of mind radicalization by a violent and assassination culture have seen young men recently committing heinous crimes, assassinations, and attempted assassinations. When we woke up this morning to the news that there was an intruder at Mar A Lago carrying a gas can and gun, I knew before I heard it that he would be young. He was 21!

Satan sadistically laughs at violence and murders, especially those that take down children.

Sadly, Christians often aren’t good at standing up for truth.

Good people often tell truth poorly, while evil people tell lies well.

After all, the liars are getting their marching orders from the father of lies!

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

The Devil is Afraid of the Next Generation!

Praise God, many in the next generation are going back to church and reading their Bible even as the devil is using the left to try and make it ugly for them, especially for Turning Point USA (TPUSA) kids. These kids have experienced the contrast of good and evil. They saw a 31-year-old man who was trying to rescue them from the devil’s grip assassinated by a young man with a trans, furry male lover.

The devil’s attempt to stop Charlie Kirk’s ministry to youth has backfired.

Justin Streiff, Chief Operating Officer for TPUSA, explains the evil TPUSA is encountering as they’re exponentially growing after the murder of Charlie Kirk. “That [ugly] has always come with the territory when you’re speaking truth deep in the belly of the beast… But this semester is different.”

Then he shares what some of the kids have been experiencing in the most hostile semester they’ve ever faced…Satan is turning up the heat:

From coast to coast, high school and college students who dared to stand for faith, freedom, and this great nation have been stalked, slandered, threatened, and in some cases — physically attacked.

All for saying what you and I know to be true:

That America is worth defending. That speech must remain free. That Charlie Kirk’s life and legacy meant something.

Despite the opposition — our students didn’t back down.

They didn’t run. They didn’t hide.

They showed up — earlier, louder, and stronger than ever before.

But not without cost.

TPUSA reports that in spite of all the harassment on campuses their students aren’t folding.

They’re still tabling at campus events.

They’re still meeting after school — still recruiting, still growing.

They’re still passing out pocket Constitutions and American flags.

They’re still launching chapters in hostile territory — places where they’ve been told, outright, that they’re not welcome.

And while their peers stage “ICE Walkouts” and chaos in the halls…

Our students are gathering to pray — for their schools, for law enforcement, and for this nation — quietly around their school’s flagpole.

That’s because these students made a decision — the same decision Charlie challenged them to every day: “It doesn’t take skill to be courageous. It takes a choice.”

They chose courage.

They chose to stand for faith, freedom, and family. They chose to defend everything that makes this country worth fighting for.

They truly are the courageous generation.

TPUSA Kids & Those Like Them Make Satan Afraid!!

Pray for the next generation to keep making Satan afraid and for them to stay strong against this enemy.

To keep the faith.

To remain courageous.

To give Satan something to worry about!

Legal Immigration Is a Wonderful Thing. Illegal Immigration Is Not!

In late November 2025, the Wesleyan Church wrote a Position Statement on Immigration, which reflects their attempt to twist Scripture to justify 20 million illegal, unlawful, unauthorized, undocumented, noncitizen aliens invading America.

Like the mainstream media, liberal left, and socialist Marxists, the Wesleyans only used the word “immigrant” instead of differentiating between vetted legal immigrants who are welcomed into our country when they come in the right way, versus those who break our laws to breach our borders illegally. You or I couldn’t just walk into another country and demand shelter, food, healthcare, education for our children, jobs, while abusing the country’s constitution or laws against its legal citizens.

My husband and I traveled abroad at the end of the summer, and we had to show our ID passport to get on the plane, when we got off the plane, and every leg of the trip. Our luggage had to go through customs going into a foreign country and also upon returning to our home country. While we were in other countries, we had to abide by their laws and culture.

Dr. Everett Piper, American writer, retired university administrator, and conservative commentator, author of the national best seller, Not a Day Care: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth and a columnist for The Washington Times, wrote a response challenging the Wesleyan Church’s Immigration Position Statement and I completely agree with him.

Too many churches, pastors, and Christians today are either misinterpreting Scripture or taking it out of context attempting to guilt Americans into tolerating foreigners who have broken the law by entering our country illegally. Many have criminal nefarious evil motives.

Dr. Piper’s opinion is interesting and relevant since he served as President of Oklahoma Wesleyan University from August 2002 until his retirement in May 2019. He was named President Emeritus of Oklahoma Wesleyan in 2020 and was elected County Commissioner of Osage County Oklahoma in 2022.

Here is what Dr. Everett Piper wrote in response to the Wesleyan Church Position Statement on Immigration:

“I personally think this statement from Wesleyan HQ is a not-so-thinly-disguised homage to some of our leaders’ decades old infatuation with neo-Marxism rather than simple Biblical truth. And they frankly don’t even try to hide it.

For example, the language of this official statement is laden with references to “systemic” this and that; as well as the use of the word “equitable” rather than equal. These phrases and concepts are straight out of the Frankfurt School handbook and reflect the writings of Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, and Herbert Marcuse more than they do traditional Christian beliefs regarding individual responsibility and conservative morals.

Biblical believers should be very wary of this for it is all a very close cousin to 1960s liberation theology whose goal has always been much more about “social justice” than personal salvation. All such models inevitably lead to division rather than unity, blame rather than personal confession, and the worship of government more than God.

Moreover, this statement repeatedly ignores the fact that the Bible never excuses illegal immigration or expects any country/nation to tolerate it.

It consistently conflates the immigrant who honors the law with those who don’t. In fact the document seemingly draws no distinction between the two and scolds those of us who do see the difference.

And it completely ignores the elderly, the poor, the widows, the children and the women who are being victimized even now as we speak by a tsunami of illegal vagrancy now sweeping across our nation.

What about them?

What about the working class older folks in Springfield OH, LA, South Chicago, Denver Colorado or in Minneapolis or St Paul who can’t even leave their front yard, walk to the local grocery store, or take their grandkids to the community park because their entire neighborhood is now overrun by a literal army of illegals?

What about children who are being trafficked and abused by the tens of thousands?

What about the young women who live in fear of being harassed if not outright raped?

What about the older retired couple who still live in the 1,000 square foot house they bought in what was a nice neighborhood in the 1950s that is now overrun by tent encampments, drugs, violence and crime?

What about all these people – these millions of law abiding blue color American citizens – who have had to sacrifice their safety, their home equity, their neighborhoods, their schools, their streets, and their entire way of life on the altar of virtue-signaling progressive Christians who live in their upscale suburban communities, sleeping soundly at night behind their locked front doors and who drink their five dollar lattes while smugly writing papers like this scolding everyone else to do better?

The bottom line is there is nothing in the Bible that tells a nation to ignore lawlessness and criminality at the expense of its own people. Read the book of Nehemiah my goodness. The entire thing revolves around building a wall for a reason.

Legal immigration is a wonderful thing. Illegal immigration is not. And ignoring the difference is cultural suicide.”

What Does the Bible Say about Violating a Nation’s Borders and Transgressing Its Immigration Laws?

*Romans 13:1–7 makes it clear that God expects us to obey the laws of the government. The only exception is when a law forces us to disobey a command of God (Acts 5:29). Illegal immigration breaks a government’s law. There is nothing in Scripture that contradicts the idea of a sovereign nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is rebellion against God to unlawfully enter another country. Illegal immigration is a sin.

It is not biblical to violate a law to achieve a “good.” Caring for the poor, orphans, and widows is something the Bible commands us to do (Galatians 2:10; James 1:27; 2:2–15); however, that biblical mandate does not excuse lawbreaking. Supporting, enabling, or encouraging illegal immigration is a violation of God’s Word. Those seeking to immigrate to another country should always obey the immigration laws of that country. Yes, dealing with red tape may cause delays and frustrations, but it is better than acting illegally. A frustrating law is still a law.

“Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves” (1 Peter 2:13–16).

Many falsely try to label Jesus and His earthly parents as immigrants. Contrarily, Jesus’ birth took place when His mother Mary and earthly father Joseph travelled at a very inconvenient time to legally follow the government’s law.

At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. ²(This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) ³All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. ⁴And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. ⁵He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child.

⁶And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. Luke 2:1-6

I hope this blog clears up any confusion between legal law-abiding immigration and those who broke our laws, including the Biden Administration who willfully broke United States immigration laws to allow a travesty of 20 million illegals to cross our open borders. Horrifically, many victims of illegal immigration have paid a horrible price for this atrocity, some even with their life. Praise God, President Trump closed our borders within weeks of coming into office, but now we must deal with locating and removing millions of illegals from our country while DHS also searches for the 300,000 unaccompanied children Biden and Harris lost!

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt. 18:6

Praying for President Trump: A Call to Action

As you read this blog, you may be getting ready to watch President Trump’s inauguration as the 47^th President of the United States, or maybe you’ve already watched it. Regardless, history is being made as he becomes only the second president in United States history to win non-consecutive terms as we launch into a new era that Trump has called the “Golden Age.”

Most of us would agree that the past four years have been hard, but we made it. I personally can see many reasons that God had President Trump wait until this year to reenter the White House and perhaps I will save that for a future blog. Today, I want to do something a little different and suggest a call to action to pray for success, protection, and wisdom for our new President and all those who will be serving our country with him and his family who love and support him. So, pray with me please and feel free to add any prayers the Holy Spirit brings to your mind in the comments.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come together today using these humble written words and Your Words to praise You and pray for newly elected President Donald J. Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, cabinet members, and additional staff who will be serving the American people in the federal government. And we pray for all their families.

Father, You tell us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 that You command us to pray for those in authority because it is vital to the success of any leadership, and we want this administration to be successful. You say, I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— ²for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ³This is good, and pleases God our Savior, ⁴who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

As Your followers who want to live peaceful and quiet lives, we pray that our national, state, and local governments would rule with godliness and holiness and seek You always for wisdom, guidance, and discernment in governing.

The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. ¹¹But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. ¹²What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. Ps. 33:10-12

So first, we pray that President Trump, his advisers, cabinet, and team would look to You, Lord, as they make and execute their plans for our Nation. That they would humbly and patiently seek Your will and not their own. We trust Father that if they would simply ask You will help them with all the decisions and policies they will be making, changing, or discarding. The king’s [President’s] heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases. (Pr. 21:1)

For those, Lord, who refuse to seek You, we pray for their removal from positions that would inflict anything on constituents which goes against Your Word and Your will. We especially pray for eyes to open and hearts to break for the imperative need for righteous protection of the unborn. The removal of evil teaching policies and sexual grooming in the education of our children and grandchildren and that You, Lord, would be brought back into our schools along with a patriotic love for our country. We pray that marriage and sex would be governed as you designed in creation and not as man has “reimagined” and distorted it.

Lord, Your Word tells us in Proverbs 29:2 that, When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan. Lord, we have been groaning now for four years under a heavy burden of wickedness and unrighteousness with evil, lies, and injustice in our government. We identify with Old Testament people as they vacillated between bad and good judges and kings. We praise You and give You gratitude for hearing the pleas of over 77 million Americans who voted for a return to civility, common sense, and biblical principles and values in our country as our founding fathers envisioned in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

We praise You, Lord, that there are some godly people now in positions of authority. We pray not only that they would not bend or break in their devotion to You in all their actions, decisions, words, and policies, but that they would also be a witness of the power of Jesus Christ in their life as they serve along some who may not know you personally. Let the faithful never be afraid to share that their hope, strength, and power originates from You, Lord. “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. ³³But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.” Matt. 10:32-33)

Please let each official who knows You as his or her Savior remember Your counsel to live by and govern with a biblical worldview and be ready to explain the reasons why. 1 Peter 3:15-16 advises how to do this. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, ¹⁶keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

We pray Lord that You will protect President Trump from physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual harm. We know that the worst of all the world’s enemies is Satan who prowls around like a roaring lion night and day looking for someone to devour. We’ve watched satanic evil target President Trump in assassination attempts to take his life and lawfare to falsely slander and imprison him. Yet still he has prevailed. We see in his words that he understands it is You, God, who has saved him physically, and we pray he is saved spiritually. Let all the attempts of the evil one against President Trump, his family, his cabinet, and his team bounce off their shields of faith and boomerang back on the assailants. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Eph. 6:16

Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Pr. 30:5 NLT

Franklin Graham reminds us that, “As we pray, remember above all that our hope is in the Lord, not men. Only [You] God can save souls and only [You] God can bring revival to the nation—a moral and spiritual transformation that brings stability, true peace and God’s blessings.”

Oh Lord, You never fail and You always achieve Your good and rightful purpose. Let us be people who continue to pray for our president and government not just on Inauguration Day, but every day. Even when we can’t see clearly what You’re doing, You tell us to partner with You in praise, prayer, and purpose. So, we now humbly submit and commit to You that we will do just that to the best of our ability. We will give You all the praise and glory for the blessings You have given each of as American citizens currently and Heavenly citizens for eternity.

6 Ways to Respond to Vileness, Vitriol, and Violence

Last week, I wrote about a local business owner, Mark Fitzpatrick, who decided to counter “gay pride” month with “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” at his establishment, The Old State Saloon (OSS) in Eagle, Idaho. Here’s the link to that blog if you haven’t read it yet. I did preface there that while we don’t drink, many restaurants we eat at do have a bar, we just don’t imbibe. Old Sate Saloon is no different, so they have our full support. Mark is a vocal Christian and I’ve since learned there’s a Bible Study on Sunday mornings at OSS for people who might never set foot in a church. Their Facebook post today, Saturday, as I’m writing this week’s blog read: “Don’t forget! Bible study Sunday morning at 10 am. This week we have a special guest teacher, David McClellan, who will be covering Ephesians 3.”

Their regular Sunday morning Bible study teacher wrote on OSS’s Facebook page: “Some people raise their eyebrows when they learn I teach a Bible study each Sunday morning in a Saloon. If you’re in the Treasure Valley, it’s 50 E State Street in Eagle. Start time is 10 am … we wrap up no later than 11. Everyone 21+ is welcome.” With that, he posted the opening meme in this article.

Mark Fitzpatrick’s fun, yet bold and firm, stand for heterosexuality and his Christian faith has gone viral across the nation, but predictably it’s also brought out vileness and vitriol on the Old State Saloon’s social media pages. So far, praise God, I haven’t heard of any violence, which we’ve prayed against for him all month. Mark said in the beginning that he was surprised at the vile vitriol in social media comments on their Facebook page and they would be removing any offensive comments using slander, foul language, or profanity.

I posted my last week’s blog, God Created Us Heterosexual and Idaho Celebrates That As Awesome, on OSS’s Facebook page, and as you might expect, the hate and vitriol flowed along with self-righteous comments. I’m sure many were also trolls with nothing better to do than write nasty, profane, and often heinous verbal attacks. I’ve learned to never engage with these sick people and just ignore them as they pour out their vitriol against my ministry, Christianity, and me.

I actually feel sorry for each one as I read their hateful ignorant slander with blasphemous memes against Jesus and Christians. Tragic that they’re living a lie and resort to vicious vileness that I doubt they’d be willing to say to Mark or my face. I doubt some of them even read my blog because no one left a comment on my website post. They were looking for a bigger audience on OSS’s Facebook page, which has attracted hundreds of comments since the publicizing of Heterosexual Awesomeness Month special events.

As I’ve been writing and speaking in the public forum for years, I’m not naive that people exist who troll on their phone or computers looking for an opportunity to spew vile words, while calling you hateful names and slinging accusations. They’re lost, deceived, maybe lonely, and either have never heard the Gospel or have rejected it. They need prayer, but not indulgence. They want you to respond so they can keep going, but when you ignore them, they don’t know if you’ve even read what they wrote. That surely frustrates them. What a sorry way to live!

Satan’s Offensive Playbook is Vileness, Vitriol, and Violence!

In the wake of the horrific Hamas attack on Israel, we’re watching violence on college campuses. Brainwashed kids protesting in favor of terrorists and creating mayhem are being allowed to setup encampments on the campuses, until they inevitably start destroying and defacing property. Sometimes they’re not even arrested or held accountable. It’s as if the college administrators are afraid of the students or think if they indulge them, they’ll get tired and go away. These kids obviously were never taught how to peacefully, politely, and intelligently express their viewpoint. Often, they have no idea what or why they’re even protesting. But they do know how to express vileness, vitriol, and violence!

Vile language and behavior, profane vitriol, and destructive violence do not come from the Holy Spirit, Jesus, or God. That means the only other spirit in our world, a satanic evil spirit, is producing this behavior. Have you noticed on the news during clips of violent protests or gay parades and speeches, all you hear are bleep, bleep, bleep, because the media can’t let those vile profanities be heard on television. So, the protestors aren’t saying anything intelligent, just a series of bleeps

Public TV also can’t show the true vileness of the lewd acts being performed in the streets during gay parades, often in front of little children, so you’re only seeing sanitized short clips, which are bad enough. And what about parents who expose young children to these vile obscenities and actions instead of protecting them from profanity and sexual lewdness?! These parents are letting their children be mentally and visually influenced by obscenity and immorality. Normalizing it as acceptable. After all, if your parents think it’s okay, it must be okay.

The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise. Pr. 23:24 NLT

Adults and children persuaded by satanic actions and rituals instead of godly purity and morals are opening themselves up to demonic behavior. I doubt the parents taking their children to gay parades or drag queen story hours are taking them to Sunday school. A power play of Satan versus God. We know who wins in the end, but how many souls will be lost along the way.

The Bible tells of people possessed or influenced by demons. From these examples, we can find some symptoms of demonic influence and gain insight as to how a demon possesses someone. Here are some of the biblical passages: Matthew 9:32-33; 12:22; 17:18; Mark 5:1-20; 7:26-30; Luke 4:33-36; Luke 22:3; Acts 16:16-18.

Demon possession is not always as dramatic as in biblical times, but it can cause the individual to say and perform evil acts. Judas being the main example. Or King Saul, after rebelling against the LORD, was troubled by an evil spirit (1 Samuel 16:14-15; 18:10-11; 19:9-10) with the apparent effect of a depressed mood and an increased desire to kill David. There’s a wide variety of possible symptoms of demon possession, such as a physical impairment that can’t be attributed to an actual physiological problem, a personality change such as depression or aggression, supernatural strength, immodesty, antisocial behavior, violent anger, spewing obscenities, lewdness, and sexual depravity.

In Judas’ case, he opened his heart to evil by his greed (John 12:6).Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve (Luke 22:3). So, it’s possible that if one allows his heart to be ruled by some habitual sin, it becomes an invitation for a demon to enter, which always leads to ungodly behavior and a mindset against God as the apostle Paul told us in the following verses.

²¹Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. . . ²⁴So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. ²⁵They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. ²⁶That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. ²⁷And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

²⁸Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. ²⁹Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. ³⁰They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. . . Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Romans 1:21, 24-29, 32 NLT.

So How Should Christians Respond?

If you’re encountering vileness, vitriol, or threats of violence on social media or in person, here’s how I try to handle it. Maybe it will help you too.

Don’t try to one up, reason with, or engage them.

Attempting to change their mind is unlikely to succeed, but it will usually intensify the debate and consume considerable time and energy. Even though you’re sure you have the perfect response, in my experience, I’ve never seen anyone concede or surrender their opinion or verbal attack. Typically, they become more hostile while their vile vitriol escalates.

Ignore them.

I know that’s hard to do because you want to help them see the truth, but they’re just looking for an argument and you’ll only become more frustrated and irritated yourself.

Delete their comments and consider blocking them.

You’re not obligated to leave their vitriol on your social media and blocking them will prevent them from returning. You can also report them to the social media administrator. A troll is just looking for an argument and you have better things to do with your time.

In person, change the subject.

Offer your point of view if you want, but if the conversation is deteriorating, tell them to have a blessed day and move on. Don’t ever let Satan cause you to match their vileness, vitriol, or violent behavior.

Pray for them.

Hard as it is, Jesus tells us to love and pray for our enemies (Matt. 5:44-45). Maybe, just maybe, their eyes will open and the blinders fall off because they’re headed for a mental, emotional, and spiritual crash, if not already there. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Eph. 6:18

Our offensive playbook is the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Eph. 6:17

The apostle Paul also advised, Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Rom. 12:18 NLT

God Fights for Prodigals When We Pray His Will!

“You know how it feels when you see any glimmer of hope in your prodigal.” —A praying mom

If you follow my blogs and newsletters, you know I wait on the Lord to tell me what to write about each week. God is so faithful to not only give me a word, but also back it up with confirmation that I cannot ignore. So I know today there are parents and grandparents in my reading audience experiencing sorrow over prodigals in your family because that’s what God has told me to write about in this blog. It’s not the first time I’ve written on this topic, in fact, I wrote an entire book about praying for our prodigals.

Last week, hubby and I participated in a prayer group where the common request was for prodigal children, most of whom were in the millennial age range in their thirties and early forties. That was the age of my own prodigal years. Even children raised in Christian homes sometimes want to explore their independence, which might mean venturing into the world’s ways. So, we prayed that night for the spiritual awakening, or reawakening, of all the prodigals.

Then the next night, Dave and I watched a recorded Flashpoint program, which aired originally on the same night the group was praying for prodigals. Gene Bailey, the host of Flashpoint, interviewed Pastor Kent Christmas about his new book, Turning Sorrow Into Joy: A Journey of Faith and Perseverance. In the interview with Pastor Christmas, they referred to the previous night’s program when again the topic was praying for prodigals. Now God really had my attention, so we watched it also. Gene Bailey interviewed Pastor Tim Sheets of Awaken Ministries and his daughter Rachel Shafer who wrote together Come Home: Pray, Prophesy, and Proclaim God’s Promises Over Your Prodigal. Even as parents and grandparents agonize and grieve with tears on their pillow every night, Pastor Sheets and Rachel offered assurance that God will forgive returning prodigals.

They emphasized that while you wait, stay rooted in God. Your feelings and emotions will lie to you, but God’s Word is truth, as I wrote in last week’s blog Knowing and Speaking Only the Truth Will Keep Us Free!

Come Home contains 90 decrees in Scriptures to pray for bringing prodigals home. In the interview, the authors mentioned several verses with the prophetic message of hope. Belief accelerates the power of God. Believe in a future where your children will come home physically and spiritually.

But now this is what the Lord says: “Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you,” says the Lord. “Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy. ¹⁷There is hope for your future,” says the Lord. “Your children will come again to their own land. Jer. 31:16-17 NLT

God promises He will fight for and save your children! You must believe and claim these promises and pray them over your children with unwavering faith.

Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant^[^a^] let his captives go? ²⁵But the Lord says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children. Isaiah 49:24-25

The Message translation of Isaiah 49:24-25 says: Can plunder be retrieved from a giant, prisoners of war gotten back from a tyrant? But God says, “Even if a giant grips the plunder and a tyrant holds my people prisoner, I’m the one who’s on your side, defending your cause, rescuing your children. And your enemies, crazed and desperate, will turn on themselves, killing each other in a frenzy of self-destruction. Then everyone will know that I, God, have saved you—I, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Those verses emphasize that God’s on our side. He’s going to save our children. While we want to believe this, it’s tempting to take back our concerns and worries even after we cast them onto God. We should quit putting power into earthly circumstances and instead magnify God and His heavenly perspective as these following Psalms emphasize.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, ²⁸for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations. Ps. 22:27-28

They [prodigals] will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. Ps. 24:5 NLT

My Daughter and My Prodigal Story of Redemption

I wrote Praying for Your Prodigal Daughter: Hope, Help & Encouragement for Hurting Parents with input from my daughter of what she was thinking and feeling during her prodigal years. For seventeen years, I was a prodigal raising a prodigal until God reawakened my spirit at a Harvest Crusade where I rededicated my life to Christ. On the stadium floor, I knelt and told the Lord, “Your prodigal has returned. I will go where you send me.”

Kim didn’t receive well the dramatic change in my life. She was happy with the way we were living before. In spite of her resistance, I felt an urgency for Kim to also surrender her life to the Lord. I remembered a time when I stopped eating beef and switched to turkey burger. One day Kim, who was probably in middle school, said, “Mom, don’t you care about my health too?!” I thought she would still want hamburgers, but she wanted to be healthy like me. She hasn’t eaten beef since.

After my rededication, I heard a message on the reality of hell. I couldn’t stand the thought of my daughter going there. I had a dream that I looked down from heaven and heard her saying, “Mom didn’t you care enough about my spiritual health to not give up on me?” That’s when I began praying Scripture for my daughter daily, biblically, expectantly, persistently, sacrificially, unceasingly, and thankfully.

In Praying for Your Prodigal Daughter, Kim writes, “Mom, I saw the book Praying God’s Will for my Daughter in your bathroom one time, and I felt resentful that you thought I was ‘lost’ and needed you to pray for me. You turned your life around so completely, and I couldn’t relate to the new, ‘weird’ you. All the praying stuff was outside of my comfort zone. When I learned you were praying for me, it upset me. I felt that I could take care of myself and didn’t need your prayers.”

From the devotional Kim referred to above, I learned how to personalize and pray Scripture for her, which allowed me to pray God’s will while I journaled my will to release my feelings and concerns on paper. I share those journal writings throughout the book and include “40 Days of Praying Scripture for Your Prodigal” on page 313. Kim thanks me today that I never gave up praying for her.

Satan is Targeting Children!

Today, Satan is blatantly attacking the family and children more openly and abrasively than ever before. Abortion for teenagers or gender changes without parents’ consent. Parents who want to know what their children are being taught in schools labeled domestic terrorists! Drugs are rampant and killing our children. Child suicide has reached record numbers. Schools are teaching young children about perverse sex practices as “sex education,” even as young as kindergarten. As “gay rights” became mainstream and legalized, Satan had to move it up a notch to transgenderism. Children are given drugs and surgically mutilated, irreversibly in many cases, and deceived into thinking they can change their gender from the way God created them. Drag grooming is considered entertainment for children, even though it’s a precursor to pedophilia.

This isn’t normal or biblical. It’s satanical. Satan really is coming after our children, but Christians have the weapons we need to ward off the attacks of the enemy. Prayer. God’s Word. Civic action like voting, running for office, and activism.

I’m not writing this article to promote my book, or any book, but there’s a reason God had these pastors and me write about saving our prodigals. Because we all need to know how to love and pray scripturally for children and grandchildren, while still maintaining a relationship with them without backing down from our biblical beliefs. Their very lives depend on it!

If you have a child or grandchild involved in sinful activities, it doesn’t make it right. Yes, I know it hurts and it’s painful. Parents often think they need to go along with what their child is doing or risk losing the relationship instead of being godly parents and getting them the emotional, spiritual, and mental help they’re so desperately crying out for, while also praying unceasingly for them. If they were a murderer, and some are, you still love your child, but you don’t decide that murder is acceptable because your child committed it. That applies to any and every sin.

I chose to unconditionally love but never condone. In God’s eyes, all sin is wrong, and all have sinned. Only repentance and asking forgiveness from Jesus for our sins places us in a right relationship with God. Salvation.

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. ²³For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. ²⁴Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. Romans 3:22-24 NLT

Never Stop Praying!

Declaring God’s Word over your prodigal activates your own faith!

None of us know when Christ is going to return for believers. We watch the prevalent evil today and wonder how long it will be before the Lord says enough. No parent or grandparent wants to have a child or grandchild left behind. That was the urgency I felt when I was praying for my daughter’s salvation. Then I prayed for each of our eleven grandchildren to be saved with the assurance that I would someday see them all again in heaven. Yes, there’s been a few regressions, and I just pray all the harder because I know what God assured me with my daughter: God wants our prodigals back even more than we do!

Don’t give up and let Satan win the spiritual battle for your prodigal’s heart and soul. Though it may seem contradictory, the more rebellious, defiant, stubborn, and argumentative your prodigal becomes, the more you should cling to this hope and encouragement: God is working in his or her heart, and they’re resisting. But that means they haven’t surrendered completely to Satan and are experiencing tormenting guilt. God hasn’t given up and neither should you. There’s still hope.

I know it’s hard to do when your heart is breaking and you don’t see any change in the situation, but never stop praying for your prodigal. Pastor Christmas prayed and interceded for 14 years. I prayed Scripture for six years for my prodigal. Previous blogs from prodigal Alycia Neighbours whose story is in Praying for Your Prodigal Daughter, shared how long her parents prayed for her return: Never Stop Praying for Your Prodigal! and After the Party for the Returning Prodigal.

Alice prayed for 27 years. She said, “It’s all you can do when everything else is out of your control.” In the chapter on Praying Biblically in Praying for Your Prodigal Daughter, Alice told how she prayed Scripturally for her daughter, which is how I prayed for my daughter EVERY DAY! It’s simply personalizing and paraphrasing God’s Word as a prayer back to Him. Here’s an example of how Alice said she prayed Scripture for her prodigal.

“I’ve learned to pray for my daughter by praying back the Scriptures to God. For example, I pray Ezekiel 36:27-29 for Liz’s heart to soften and for her to return home: “God, give my daughter Liz a heart of flesh to replace her heart of stone toward spiritual things. Through Your Spirit, move her to follow Your decrees and carefully keep Your laws. Help Liz to return home Allow her to live in the land You, God, gave to her spiritual forefathers; may she be Your child, may You be her God. Save her from all her uncleanness.”

As another praying mom Suzanne said, “I know God isn’t done with her, and I choose to see her the way He does!”

“Never stop praying!” 1 Thess. 5:17 NLT

Library Update

VICTORY!! Idaho’s Governor Little signed the Children’s School and Library Protection Act, finally addressing the widespread library porn issue in a meaningful way! It goes into effect this summer so I’ll follow up with our local library to be sure they enforce it.
Gov. Little also signed Bill 538 that bars teachers from referring to a student by a name or pronoun that doesn’t align with their birth sex unless parents consent.
Last month, the governor signed House Bill 668, which blocks the use of public funds for gender-affirming procedures.
Gov. Little also signed House Bill 421. It states, “In human beings, there are two, and only two, sexes: male and female. In no case is an individual’s sex determined by stipulation or self-identification.” Most notably, in addition to ruling that sex and gender were synonymous, this bill “codifies in state law biological definitions for ‘woman,’ ‘man,’ and other sex-based terms, making [Idaho] the fifth to exclude men who identify as women from being legally recognized as female.”

No More Recreational Christianity!

You might be thinking, “Well I’m a Christian and I enjoy recreation!” I do too. I’m not talking about squelching fun in fact I encourage it. In the context of this blog, I’m using recreational as light, undemanding, even entertaining, Christianity.

Christian living encompasses an obligation beyond what feels good or is easy and comfortable. God isn’t expecting us to be the smartest person in heaven. He’s going to be more interested in how we used the gifts and talents He gave us to further His kingdom here on earth to overcome pervasive evil.

Yes, being a Christian goes beyond fellowshipping and enjoying the company of like-minded believers, even beyond our personal spiritual maturity, although these are all important elements of our Christian life. But even more important is our willingness to go where Christ calls us to go and do what He says to do. I’m not suggesting going on the mission field, unless that’s where you feel God calling you. When we look around us with discernment, we see a huge mission field of evil engulfing our world from the government to the schools.

It’s easy to think there’s nothing we can do about it. Or, who are we to get involved? I would answer, “We’re Christians. That’s who we are and that’s why we do get involved. If not us, than who? If not now, then when?”

The Bible tells every Christian, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.” Pr. 31:8 NLT

Right now, our children and grandchildren are being crushed by evil in a secular culture that sees them as innocent prey. In schools. Libraries. Entertainment. The medical profession. Satan puts a bullseye on children he can’t murder in the womb.

Abortion is a sacrament of Satan. It’s demonic. Satan knows he can’t kill God, so he breaks God’s heart by killing or deceiving God’s creation using demonic industries like Planned Parenthood that performs the majority of abortions and is one of the top producers of gender alternation medications. Assaults on children by Planned Parenthood, the medical profession, and the Democrat transgender agenda are evil golden cash cows.

I found myself yelling at the television when Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler told Congress we need more illegal immigrants because Americans are having less babies and our population is diminishing. He admitted the Dems do have a plan to replace American citizens with illegals. I wanted someone to tell him, “The population is decreasing because the Democrats support the murder of babies, transgenderism, and castrating, mutilating, and chemically sterilizing young children!” That’s not a political statemen; it’s factual.

You might think we won the battle of abortion when Roe v Wade was overturned. While that was an amazing accomplishment, the battle is far from over as each state now sets its own abortion laws and Biden is trying to codify abortion as the law of the land. Every time a red state passes strict abortion regulations, the Biden Administration sues that state! The Federal government has also approved abortion pills mailed into states that prohibit the sale of them, like Idaho where I live. That’s why abortion will be a central part of the Presidential campaign. Sadly, many pro-life politicians have been defeated. There are a number of pro-abortion Republicans in both the Senate and Congress who have either bought the “healthcare” lie or aren’t willing to tell the truth about abortion. They compromise to win.

I was happy to see our Idaho legislature changing the terminology for our state to reflect the true sanctity of life. Fetus and stillborn fetus are now replaced with preborn child and stillborn child.

I know you’ve seen an infant recently in your family, church, or community. What a blessing that child is but we weep for all the precious lives ended before they could begin. Only those deceived by Satan would champion indiscriminate sex over a precious conceived life. If you study this issue, you quickly learn that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, first called Planned Parenthood the American Birth Control League. She’s credited with originating the term birth control. Research shows that her intent was that women could have sexual pleasure without the responsibility of pregnancy. It also involved eugenics, as she wanted to eliminate blacks and any child with potential birth defects. Straight from Satan’s playbook.

I challenge you to find anywhere in the Bible where God, the Creator of life, uses the term birth control, or espouses the concept of humans, instead of God, controlling birth. Just the opposite. Man also thinks he can control the weather. Again, trying to usurp God.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Gen. 1:28

An atheistic mind that believes there is no God, concludes there’s no need or respect for human life. It’s a false humanism religion denying that we are both body and soul. Exactly where our secular culture is today and yet so often the church is afraid to talk about this or expose the satanic repercussions. We’d rather talk about things that make us feel good—recreational entertaining Christianity instead of righteously effective Christianity.

Planned Parenthood is also behind pornography and “Sex Ed for Social Change” in schools, school libraries, and public libraries. If they can corrupt innocent minds with sex and sexual deviations, they control them for life. Those who are paying attention can clearly see this is all a prelude to normalizing sex with children, pedophilia. It’s already happening as we saw in the movie Sound of Freedom. Child sex trafficking rings are prevalent, especially with the border invasion. Horrible stories appear in the news like videotaping toddlers being sexually abused while perverts attempt to lower the age of sexual consent for children!

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt. 18:6

Does that seem too extreme to be true? Many of us can remember when sex outside of marriage was taboo. Virginity was cherished. Living together before marriage was unacceptable, and if a couple got pregnant, they got married. Sex, nudity, couples in bed together, multiple lovers, and promiscuity weren’t allowed on television. Now it’s all been normalized and somehow Christians let it happen.

Let marriage be kept honorable in every way, and the marriage bed undefiled. For God will judge those who commit sexual sins, especially those who commit adultery. Heb. 213:4

Every Christian must defend morality! One day, we’re all going to stand before God and He’s going to ask what did you do, or not do, about the evil corruption in your culture.

I would encourage you to listen to this YouTube conversation with Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and Seth Gruger who has a Pro Life Ministry, A White Rose. I learned that Pastor Hibbs is an abortion survivor. In his teens, he overheard his mother telling someone that a neighbor discovered his mother mutilating herself by trying to abort him with a coat hanger. After three weeks in the hospital, Pastor Hibbs’ life was saved. He didn’t understand the complete impact of his rescue until he later became a Christian. How many future pastors, presidents, inventors, physicians, missionaries, parents, musicians, athletes . . . God’s children . . . weren’t rescued and saved? If you’ve ever heard Pastor Hibbs preach or speak, you know he’s living out his purpose.

We were all saved and called to a purpose that promotes God’s kingdom here on earth. We must discover that purpose and fulfill it for the Lord’s glory!

Update on Our Local Library

Some of you have been following my unexpected and unplanned role spearheading the removal of obscene and pornographic books targeted for children in our local library. You can read the history in my blogs Jesus Reveals the Opposing Fathers of Truth and Lies and Be Alert for Where and When the Lord Wants You to Get Involved!

As an update, a friend and I accepted an invitation to meet with the librarian who at first was determined that we were censors. But after talking with us, she agreed to amend the board minutes referring to us as “people in favor of censorship” and suggested I send a letter to the library board asking them to review the books according to Idaho’s definition of pornography.

In God’s perfect timing, our Idaho Legislature’s House State Affairs Committee has introduced a new bill for libraries to either remove or move to a designated “Adults Only” section of the library “harmful materials” directed to minors, or materials that include “nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or sado-masochistic abuse.” Under the Legislatures definition of “sexual conduct this includes any act of homosexuality. With this new legislation, students, parents and legal guardians could fill out a written notice to libraries asking to relocate a library item that they deem “harmful” to the adult section. A library that doesn’t comply would be fined.

There was a similar law last year that made its way to Governor Little’s desk and he vetoed it. One Republican vote prevented overriding the veto. They’ve revised the bill according to the changes the governor asked for and are hoping to get this one passed. I’m happy to see Republicans didn’t give up, as I haven’t given up.

I’m not telling you this story for pats on the back or an at-a-girl. I’m sharing it to make the point that we never know where God is going to “call” us to get involved for a just cause. I would’ve never predicted I would be enmeshed, let alone the spokeswoman, for this issue in our little town, but God knew. Therefore, I can’t be deterred or dissuaded. Instead, I ask for prayer and go where He leads and change is happening for the good. I want to encourage each one of you to do the same.

When Hobby Lobby won the case in the Supreme Court to not be required to offer abortion in their employee’s insurance plans, California sent a letter to churches that California wasn’t going to abide by the ruling and churches would be required to offer abortion to their employees. Pastor Hibbs went to battle against it and eight years later, won!

We know God’s truth and we must stand our ground for it wherever God has planted us!

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. ¹⁴“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. ¹⁶In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:13-16

Be Alert for Where and When the Lord Wants You to Get Involved!

If you follow me regularly, you know I’m always challenging my readers to be Christians of action and not just full of biblical knowledge. It’s one thing to know the Bible; it’s another to live the Bible. The Lord wants us to do both. Not only be knowers of the Word, but also doers. In our volatile world today, we don’t have to look far for where we can get involved in promoting good where evil is invading our culture.

It’s easy and comfortable to be armchair critics where we sit on the couch and watch on television, social media, or our electronics the world atrocities contradicting reason and right. We complain about how insanely wrong things are today.

We might even gather in groups and discuss our opinions and complaints, but talk is powerless unless we put our disgust and distress into some kind of positive action to make a difference.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22

There was a time when our frustration focused mostly on the world stage or maybe even centered on our government, but Satan is shooting his flaming arrows into our neighborhoods, families, schools, and yes, even, our churches.

We’re watching horrific pictures and narratives of evil at its worst as satanic barbarians attempt to wipe out the country of Israel. An evil attempted genocide of Jews we never expected to occur again after the Holocaust. How could this current atrocity happen to one of America’s allies and the people God has called His chosen?

I think some of the surprise attack came from relying on technology that can always be hacked or fail. Also, complacency and apathy to the reality that until Jesus returns for His church, Satan really is the ruler of the world.

We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. 1 John 5:19 NLT

We must remain alert to the enemy’s tactics, which are ALWAYS evil and destructive with the motive of deception and denial of God’s principles.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV

Complacency masquerading as “tolerance” has allowed the enemy to infiltrate almost every area of life today. Americans think we’ll never be blindsided by a 9-11 style attack again. We take our shoes off and go through metal detectors and put our liquids in 2 oz. bottles to board an airplane because that was the vehicle of evil used the last time, while millions of illegals flood our borders and throw away their passports and ID’s once inside so they can assume new identities in America. Why would anyone want to do that? You know it isn’t for good. Are we ready? Is the church ready?

I’m not talking provisionally ready; I’m talking spiritually ready. Are our loved ones ready? Are we willing to reach out with the gospel to those who aren’t?

Yes, it can be uncomfortable. Inconvenient. Unpopular. Challenging. Scary. But when I find myself in those situations, I rely on the promise God gives us in Luke 21:14-15 . . .

¹⁴ Don’t worry about what you will say to defend yourselves. ¹⁵I will give you the wisdom to know what to say. None of your enemies will be able to oppose you or to say that you are wrong. Luke 21:14-15 CEV

My Recent Getting Involved Experience

I hope you know I would never challenge you to do something I’m not willing to do myself. My mantra for years has been that the church, you and me, need to get involved in our local communities to right any wrongs that God brings to our attention. I’ve also said that we shouldn’t look only at the national level, but open our eyes to what’s going on in our own backyards. Maybe it will be running for office or actively supporting candidates who support our values. Every position is important from school boards to library boards.

I also would encourage you to investigate Christian-based organizations keeping a pulse on what’s happening in your area. I follow several in Idaho and one of those is Freedom Foundation. I receive their emails which often expose unethical issues in our state and draw our attention to pray over, and if we feel the Lord leading, to get involved. Since I live in a very small rural community most of the issues I read about are not in our area. But several weeks ago, there was an email from the Freedom Foundation addressing sexually obscene, pornographic, inappropriate books for children discovered in our local community library.

How could I ignore this? I couldn’t. So at first, I just posted the article on my social media page and a community social media page. Little did I know I was starting a firestorm! The comment attacks were fast and furious. I have to admit I was shocked that so many people were in favor of these books.

My main question was why were the books in our library? What was the purpose in making them available to our local children? But instead of answers, I received attacks on Christianity and my “morals,” although I never said I was a Christian. But it seems if you took a moral view of this atrocity, you must be a Christian. I was told, “keep your morals in your church.” I wondered what kind of “morals” the accusers had.

I learned there was a “Material Reconsideration Form” we could fill out to request these books be removed from the library. So I announced the situation to my church congregation and asked others to join me in filling out the forms. I was encouraged that many did. The two-sided form wasn’t easy to fill out and it required reviewing the dark material in these books, which I didn’t want to do. I felt like I needed a shower. How would I get the images and words out of my mind? It was just too dark.

Did I really want to do this? When my grandchildren were younger and visited us, I used to enjoy taking them to the children’s section of our library as a fun activity, but they’re older now, so these books weren’t affecting me personally. But I care about all children. I care about the next generation.

You would recognize some of the book titles as the same books parents are bravely contesting and reading aloud in school board meetings. Now God had brought them to my attention in my town. I had a choice to just complain or take further action beyond filling out the forms.

Then I discovered a podcast “Banned?” with Pastor Jack Hibbs interviewing Karen England, from Capitol Resource Institute. In this podcast, they discuss the sexually explicit and pornographic books that are plaguing our public-school systems and public libraries. Karen kept pointing out that we may be surprised to learn this isn’t only a problem in liberal cities, but many of these books are often available in conservative “red states” as well. They were talking about the very books in our “red state” small community library or on their website as an e-book download that children could access.

“Banned?” is an important podcast for every parent, grandparent, and concerned citizen to hear. It’s hard to listen, and yes, it’s dark, but that’s where Satan does his work. Especially, if you’re in a “red state” like we are in Idaho and think that none of this could happen in your local library or school. It is happening in school districts and libraries throughout our state! You can’t escape it.

It was a timely podcast for me. I thought if this brave Christian woman, Karen England, can subject herself to knowing the content of these books and go around the nation exposing them to protect our precious children, I can and will do my part.

I prayed long and often late into the night for God to give me the words, wisdom, and courage to take a stand and encourage others to join me. Many did. We attended the next library board meeting where those opposing our “moral” position and those joining me opposing the books each were given three minutes to present our arguments to the board.

Even a young twenty-year-old woman courageously read a disgusting sexually graphic page from one of the books and others told testimonies of the horrific acts that occur when young minds are exposed to pornography. To the board’s credit, they listened and allowed everyone the opportunity who wanted to speak. They recorded the meeting, and we were told they would review and make their final decision, which as of this writing we haven’t received.

Applause and Assaulted

A group of us stood outside the library hugging and thanking each other for speaking out and for those that came to support us. But as you can imagine, not everyone was happy about us being there. It only took a day for me to be attacked personally on the community social media page. I received the usual “hater” slander, my ministry was ridiculed, and I was pretty much told to stay in my own Christian lane. Which actually I was!

I could also see the delusional confusion when the slanderer accused me of making the young woman read the vulgarity from the book and referred to her as my “daughter”?! I had no idea she was going to read or what she was going to say. I was just delighted to have the next generation participate and speak the truth.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at delusion. The Lord reminded me I should be flattered they thought this 20-year-old was my daughter, since my own real daughter just turned 50!!!

Jesus told us to expect persecution but also not to stop sharing the gospel because there are some who will listen just as He experienced.
Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. John 15:20

Paul said, ¹²We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; ¹³when we are slandered, we answer kindly. 1 Cor. 4:12:13

I’ve chosen to not give the satisfaction of answering the latest slanders because I choose not to escalate the discussion with those who are blinded by lies. That’s a lose/lose attempt and only gives them more of a platform. I can only pray that one day their eyes will open to the truth.

As an author myself, I know that authors write to a target audience with a purpose and focused message. I can’t imagine what kind of mind writes this smut for children. An author would have to have a sinister agenda and purpose to write books like these directed towards children. Their purpose is either pedophilia or grooming.

If you saw the movie Sound of Freedom, they really are coming for our children! I wrote a blog last year on November 8, 2021 by that very title They’re Coming for Our Children! We can’t stay silent.

Jesus didn’t say living the gospel-life would be easy. It’s often heartbreaking to see so many people championing evil as a “freedom” when we’re talking about innocent little minds and bodies. If you’re willing to take action in the schools and libraries in your area, I want to leave you with this tool.

Obscenity Law Defined: Supreme Court Defines Obscenity

Roth v. United States, 354 U.S. 476 (1957). Ruled on two criminal convictions for obscenity. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the convictions, holding that obscene speech is not protected by the First Amendment. It further determined that the standard for obscenity is “whether, to the average person, applying contemporary community standards, the dominant theme of the material, taken as a whole, appeal to prurient interest. (Emphasis added)

Miller v. California, 413 U.S. 15 (1973), reaffirmed the Roth ruling. “In sum, we (a) reaffirm the Roth holding that obscene material is not protected by the First Amendment; (b) hold that such material can be regulated by the States, subject to the specific safeguards enunciated above, without a showing that the material is “utterly without redeeming social value”; and (c) hold that obscenity is to be determined by applying “contemporary community standards” not “national standards.” (Emphasis added)”

Why Did It Take Beer to Motivate Conservatives and Christians to Boycott Woke?

By now, you probably know what I mean by the “Bud Light” fiasco that infuriated beer consumers to boycott Anheuser Bush. Bud Light actually thought they would attract more consumers by being “inclusive” to the woke agenda and put a picture on their beer cans of Dylan Mulvaney, a male who dresses and acts like a little girl. They were actually shocked when it backfired. They expected Bud Light beer drinkers, who typically were masculine middle class working men, to join woke craziness and embrace this insane lunacy!!

They probably thought why not? President Biden actually invited Mulvaney to the White House and had a conversation with this ridiculous woman imposter. That just illuminates the deception and sickness in the White House.

Instead, Bud Light discovered it was the tipping point for conservatives to rise up and say enough!!! You’ve gone too far when you mess with our beer. Anheuser Bush continues to lose billions of dollars as no one would be caught drinking a Bud Light or even some of their other beers, hopefully ever again.

Anheuser Bush was blinded by wokeness. Wanting a high diversity EPI score and “Corporate Equity Index” established by the woke movement, was more important to them than understanding their consumer base who previously had been fairly quiet about the alphabet trans cult ideology. But when they went after their beer, suddenly consumers woke up and came alive with outrage and pushback.

Maybelline and Tampax have used Mulvaney in their advertising and Nike had Mulvaney promoting its line of women’s sportswear earlier in April. Mulvaney can be seen working out with the brand’s leggings and a sports bra, along with hashtags “#teamnike” and “#nikepartner” on TikTok and Instagram.

Even though the news is saturated with stories of Bud Light’s financial blood bath, it wasn’t long before North Face featured their second annual ‘Summer of Pride” with a drag man out in a field looking goulash with wild makeup wearing women’s clothing telling everyone to “come out.” He wasn’t even wearing North Face clothing, just pushing the evil cult movement to sell hiking clothes!!

Adidas drew similar controversy with photos of women’s swimwear modeled by men as part of the company’s “pride” collection and Calvin Klein had a bearded man in a bra.

Typically, and I would add unfortunately, everyone expects Christians not to speak up, but we’re finally proving that we have a voice and we’re using it as we watch 2 Timothy 3:1-5 living out in our daily culture.
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. ²For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. ³They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. ⁴They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. ⁵They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! (NLT)

The Los Angeles Dodgers came under fire from Catholics and Christians after it planned a “pride” night where the California State Legislature will honor the drag queen group The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an evil cult that raises money for LGBTQ causes and performs in drag dressed as nuns while blaspheming and desecrating the Cross and Jesus. The pushback was so loud and strong, the Dodgers uninvited the Sisters to the outrage of the Dodgers’ other LGBTQ partner groups, so they re-invited this satanic group back with an apology to them! BTW the president of this satanic group in New York is the “nonbinary” the White House hired as a senior Department of Energy official who got caught stealing women’s luggage at airports!

Trying to appease their fans, the Dodgers said they’ll plan a Christian night in July. Like you can bargain with the Devil versus Jesus?! Play both sides? How blind and yes stupid can they be? You cannot serve two masters. You must choose either Satan or Jesus. There’s no in-between. The Dodgers are erroring on the side of satanic evil and I hope the stadium is empty!

Then Target sparked outrage from conservatives and Christians for selling trans-inclusive “tuck-friendly women’s swimwear” and “pride” products designed by a satanist, leading the retailer to pull some items from its Pride collection or put them in the back of the store. A decision that angered LGBTQ supporters. Again, you cannot please both Satan and God!

Target has had June Pride Month displays with rainbow and LGBTQ+ messaging for years, but the addition of female-style swimsuits that can be used to “tuck” male genitalia was too much for their shoppers. It’s completely out of touch and offensive to women who once again are being mocked openly so Target can get a perfect score on the woke Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

Jason Whitlock says, “It’s a realization that all Christians must accept. The global economic agenda promoted by the World Economic Forum is the enemy of all Christ-centered religious faith. ‘Corporate Equality Index,’ [is] the business credit score that helps determine how much funding they’ll receive from the central banking system. The CEI is designed to enforce LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace. Corporations are financially incentivized to celebrate and promote the Alphabet Mafia agenda.” A globalist at the World Economic Forum actually said, “We must force compliance.”

Carlos Saavedra, vice president of brand marketing at Target, is also a treasurer at GLSEN. GLSEN focuses on getting districts to adopt policies that will keep parents in the dark on their child’s in-school gender transition, providing sexually explicit books to schools for free, and integrating gender ideology at all levels of curriculum in public schools. GLSEN leads the movement in creating and affirming anti-racist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students. “We are proud of 10+ years of collaboration with GLSEN and continue to support their mission,” Target said. They provide annual donations to GLSEN, of at least $2.1 million. The following GLESEN propaganda sign is placed as you can see in the picture below in the children’s section at Target along with many “Pride” items designed for children labeled as “Thoughtfully fit on multiple body types and gender expressions.”

Podcaster Benny Johnson posted a disturbing 9-minute Twitter video showing gay “pride” clothing and accessories geared toward kids prominently displayed at a Target in Tampa, Florida. You can see his video showing the satanic items for children at this link.

What more evidence do you need that Target is in partnership with the Devil??!!

Even after watching the outrage over Target and Bud Light, Kohl’s became another major retailer to sell LGBTQ clothing for infants and young kids. Various social media accounts posted a plethora of Pride Month merchandise, including a “Baby Sonoma Community Pride Bodysuit set” designed for 3-month, 6-month and 9-month-old kids. The outfit depicts what appears to be a lesbian couple with a dog and three children, including a young boy in a wheelchair. One of the adults in the drawing carries a progressive pride flag. Other merchandise includes a “Love Is Love” banner, towels, bibs, candles, shorts, and pillows. Several other clothing items can also be found, including shirts that say, “Be Proud” and “Ask Me My Pronouns.”

And if you thought you could bypass all of this sick, and yes evil, marketing by shopping at Walmart, The Western Journal reports that The Walmart website shows clothing for babies, toddlers, and young children with slogans including “Choose Equality,” one shirt reading “Some People Are Gay Get Over It,” and various rainbow-emblazoned gear. Walmart isn’t just placating the radical left with a few stray products on its website, either, as they also have displays in their stores. The corporation has also spent millions in donations to gay groups that target children. From its LGBT policies for workers and local communities, to its support of drag shows and so-called “equality,” the company has been working for the gay movement for years. The Heritage Foundation found that Walmart has paid for drag shows and gay storytime events in local communities, hosted gay pride parades for kids, and pushed LGBT policies on schools.

Even beloved Chick-Fil-A has a VP of Diversity and has written DEI guidelines into their employee handbook!

Will We Take a Permanent Stand Against the Enemy or Cave?

As Christians, we know wokeness is overtly satanic and evil because God would never sanction it. Christians have tried to let the lost live their perverted lives and not get involved with more than praying for them. But when they begin to force us to not only accept their beliefs but live immersed in those beliefs, it’s past time to take a public stand for our beliefs in the Gospel, Jesus, and Christian values.

Conservatives and Christians are finally, speaking out against the onslaught of satanic woke merchandise and advertising, but I go back to my original question of why did it take desecration of a beer can to get everyone’s attention?

However, Senator Ted Cruz wonders if all this pushback by consumers will last after the alphabet trans drag queen “pride” month passes. Honestly, I wonder the same thing? Ten years ago, when Target partnered with GLSEN to introduce perverted school curriculum and keep it from parents, Target also started a war on Christmas. Anyone remember them kicking out the Salvation Army from the front of their stores? I do. That’s the moment we stopped shopping at Target. Many were outraged then too…but many went back or kept shopping at Target.

Target has a history of being at the forefront of woke identity politics. They sparked a boycott in 2016 after posting a public statement declaring that “transgender team members and guests” are permitted “to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.” They refused to stop even at consumer’s outrage and cases of men taking pictures of women in dressing rooms and Dad’s fighting with men who wanted to go into Target’s bathrooms while their daughters were using the restroom. Many were outraged then too . . . but many kept going, or went back to, shopping at Target.

Even now, when I remind people of Target’s past wokeness, I hear, “Oh, yeah. I forgot about that.”

Now Target has gone full blown woke targeting your kids with a satanic agenda and I’m sure many are outraged and will stop going to Target for a while . . . But Target is betting that yes, they’ll lose some initial sales, but like an addiction . . . many shoppers will return when the outrage dies down.

How many of you remember liberal left-leaning Starbucks was a big financial supporter of gay marriage? I do. Right then, we stopped going to Starbucks just like we stopped shopping at Target. Nothing could draw us back, not sales, gift cards, not even for free . . . . These stores can become like an idol or a drug that people can’t give up no matter how satanic they become. Did God really say you shouldn’t shop there? Satan asked Eve a similar question.

I heard a commentator say how surprised he was that Christians are pushing back now because in his words, “even Christians have accepted gay marriage.” Really? How could Christians, any Christian, accept something that is the opposite of God’s plan for only a man and a woman to be united in marriage? But because we let the argument die after it became law, the perception is that we agree with it. Same with abortion. Even when Roe v Wade was turned over by the Supreme Court, many Christians were silent? Was that because they had actually started to accept abortion, the killing of babies, as an acceptable practice?

Not speaking against evil, is evil itself! To be passive in the face of evil is to be evil!

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? ¹⁴But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats^[^a^]; do not be frightened.”^[^b^] ¹⁵But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, ¹⁶keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. ¹⁷For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. Luke 17:28-30

God says support what He supports. Be wise. Don’t spend your hard-earned money foolishly and by all means don’t spend it to further Satan’s evil agenda!

The angels pulled Lot back inside the house and I’m sure admonished him for wanting to throw his own precious children into the hands of those evil homosexual men, but isn’t that exactly what’s happening today to our precious innocent children?! They’re being thrown to the alphabet trans cult who want to ravage and groom them sexually and immorally.

Remember, Satan and evil knows no boundaries. Satan will go just as far as the church, citizens, and the government let him. Look at those justifying taking kids to sexually perverted pedophile drag shows and library readings, teaching them sexual perversion in schools, lying to them that they can change their genders and encouraging them to not tell their parents. Stores selling satanic clothing for as young as onesies for infants.

Satan wants our kids, he wants our families, and the left wants our country for the Marxists. That’s not a conspiracy theory. Indoctrinating kids and destroying the family is straight from the Marxist handbook. And when kids are confused about their sexuality, neutered at young ages, they can’t reproduce and that’s exactly what Satan wants.

These trans and drag men actually are excited sexually dressing in women’s clothing and many are pedophiles which is why you see drag stories for kids at libraries and children’s events. They’re not doing them for adults. It’s all evil! Evil! Evil!

It’s sad that it took beer to wake up conservatives and Christians with a Bud Light awakening, but our God moves in mysterious ways. Even though Board of Directors in woke companies have seen what happened to Budweiser and Target, everyday a new company feels like they must fall in line with a small group of woke activists with evil intent. Have you ever watched clips of their “pride” parades, which will soon be coming this month and their obvious intent of sexualizing our children? Yet, corporate America is being hijacked to think they have to appease them to get their equity scoring? Straight from the pit of hell.

But enough is never enough. Every year the alphabet mafia pushes these companies to go more woke, more evil, even though they’re going broke and alienating the majority of their customers and stockholders are losing on their investments. For example, I used to love Bed Bath and Beyond, but they went woke liberal and canceled My Pillow when Mike Lindell supported Trump and tried to rectify a stolen election. I stopped shopping there and many others must’ve also because now they’ve gone bankrupt and are closing all their stores.

Target claimed they moved the pornographic and “pride” products to the back of the store to protect their salespeople from us. Have you heard of one “violent” incident by Christians in Target? But that’s how they’re trying to reframe the response. Target and Kohl’s might think they’re too big to fail, but the further they go woke, I predict if Conservatives and Christians stay strong in their convictions, they will go woke broke.

I’ve heard it said and I believe, “The local church is the only hope for the world! The only way to take back our country is if the church gets loud and doesn’t stop voicing our outrage. Otherwise, an evil culture will dictate the future of the next generation.”

I hope you’re getting loud for what you believe and speaking out against the enemy. Please remember there is nothing prideful about remaining in and flaunting sin. Romans 1:18-32 tells us God will give these deceived people up to their own fate and incur His wrath which is tragic, but we His people certainly shouldn’t be financing their demise. Pray and evangelize with sincere godly love for the lost, but don’t throw money at them.

I heard Shelia Walsh say “Our nation is dying for the lack of people who look like they’re living. We need holy boldness.” It begins with you and me showing that we’re living for Christ, and we won’t bend to evil pressures! Peacefully protesting by where we shop and not tolerating or caving into the woke agenda is a start, but consistently being a witness of and for the Lord Jesus Christ is our primary purpose as Christians and will be the most effective.

The opening picture came from a Facebook Page “I’m So Blessed Daily June 19, 2022, and here’s what Sierra Conrad wrote below it.

“I am not shielding my children from accepting others. I am shielding my children from accepting this world’s standards of truth. I am shielding them from being indoctrinated by the world. I am raising my children to love everyone, while also raising them to love their God enough to stand for Him. My children will understand the symbolism of a rainbow as God’s Word defines it, not as our world falsely represents it. I am raising my children to see the beauty of Our Savior’s covenant. I am raising my kids to know that their identity is defined by God, NOT BY THIS WORLD.”

In his letter to the church at Rome, Paul exhorted the believers to live their lives as a sacrifice to God and he challenged them not to conform to the anti-Christians culture of their day. A good word for us today!

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? ¹⁴But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats^[^a^]; do not be frightened.”^[^b^] ¹⁵But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. What is the Biblical Truth Behind Gender Roles?—Part 2

Last week, we looked at the lies being told and sold to our culture, but especially to our precious children. If you haven’t read Part 1 yet, here’s the link. I want to also add an update to that blog, What is the Biblical Truth Behind Gender Roles—Part 1.

As a recap, in the previous blog, I talked about the pushback Kirk Cameron was receiving at libraries when he requested to read his new children’s book As You Grow about the Fruit of the Spirit and how in Arkansas, trans protestors showed up to heckle him and those attending. What I didn’t know at the time of that writing was that the protestors also had to listen to a former transgender woman, Laura Perry Smalts, read aloud Brave Books’ Elephants Are Not Birds authored by Ashley St. Clair.

The title of the article, which I hope you’ll go to because it includes some amazing pictures and a video is “Former Transgender Person Reads Anti-Trans Book to 500, Including men in Drag: ‘I Want Kids to Hear the Truth!’”

A synopsis of Elephants Are Not Birds is the message “Most can see that there is a distinct difference between an elephant and a bird but in this story, we’ll see that even those lines are blurred when the lies of Culture the Vulture are accepted as truth by Kevin the Elephant.”

During the story hour, the crowd also heard Smalts’ testimony of how she used to find it difficult loving herself the way God created her, but faith had a huge effect on her journey. The presence of trans activists, men dressed in drag, actually drove home Smalts’ story to everyone in the room, especially the children.

Here’s the full comment about the event from Kirk Cameron.
“The small group of protesters, which included some grown men wearing silly makeup, dressed in skirts and heels, pretending to be women, listened to the reading of a kids’ book about God’s view of gender called, “Elephants Are Not Birds.” At the close of this sweet and funny story of a singing elephant named Kevin who was tricked by a vulture named “Culture” into thinking he might be a bird, the reader [Laura Smalts] then asked the 300 children, “Do you think elephants can be birds, even if they strap on silly wings and a beak?” In unison, and with great laughter, all 300 children confessed with gusto, “No!” I felt sad for the men in skirts. As it is written, “You have taught the little children to praise you perfectly. May their example shame and silence your enemies.” (Psalm 8:2).

Today, I want to explore four truths regarding genders and explore what God says in the Bible about His creation of humans and the plans He has for them. I hope you’ll ponder the Scriptures I’ve selected to support each of the four truths. First, let’s look at some of the misinformation spreading about the two genders and their roles in relationships.

What Do We Get Wrong About Biblical Gender Roles?

When I married my husband 30 years ago, I had recently rededicated my life to the Lord at a Harvest Crusade. I committed to God to live the rest of my life as a biblical Christian, wife, mother, and now grandmother. My daughter was not a Christian at the time and was appalled that her once independent successful businesswoman mom was now in her words, “Going to be a doormat.” She was skeptical of Dave, who actually is a gentle, kind, godly man, but she feared he was going to dominate me.

It wasn’t until she became a Christian several years later when she and her fiancé accepted Christ in a biblical marriage class that she had an awakening regarding the truth behind biblical gender roles

Many people and some churches have misconceptions about biblical gender roles. The attempt by culture to redefine genders has invaded every area of life. Wokeness discards and dismantles biblical and biological truths and tries to normalize lies. I’m not a biologist, but I do know what a man and woman are and I’m sure you do too.

Gender isn’t defined by how someone thinks, “identifies,” or chooses to act. God’s beautiful design for humanity is only two genders, which He calls male and female, or man and woman. You won’t find in the Bible “transgender,” “cisgenders,” “binaries,” “gender identity,” “drag queens,” “queer” “gay” or any of the manmade genders or pronoun reassignment allegories. God didn’t use those terms and we shouldn’t either.

Here’s the truth about what God says regarding the two biblical gender roles that should guide the thinking and actions of every Christian and pastor.

Truth #1 God Created Only Two Genders!

As substantiated by biology and the Bible, gender is determined at birth as male or female by observable genitalia. Yet, today we live in a world where gender identity has become a fluid concept and at last count, the delusional believe there are 81 genders and growing. That absurdity seems laughable and yet the woke culture is on a mission to not only spread that lie, but enforce it in laws attempting to erase the reality of God’s two genders: male and female.

At birth, God designed each human cell to contain 23 pairs of chromosomes. Twenty-two pairs look the same in both males and females. The 23rd pair, the sex chromosomes, differs between males and females. Females have two copies of the X chromosome while males have one X and one Y chromosome, thus determining their sex. That’s a scientific and biblical undeniable, unalterable fact!

Even infamous atheist scientist Richard Dawkins declares there are only two sexes as a matter of science: “That’s all there is to it.” Dawkins added that those who have tried to cancel JK Rowling for making the same point are “bullies”!

Once again, science agrees with Creation and confirms God is the Creator of two genders and only two!

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Jer. 1:5

One revealing article admitted we’re born male or female, but erroneously added you can then learn to be whatever gender you want. Mind and emotional control is at the center of this demonic lie causing confusion and even bodily mutilation in young children and people of all ages.

Confusion or ambiguity is not from God. For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. 1 Cor. 14:33

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Gen. 1:27 ESV

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. ²He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created. Gen. 5:1-2

Truth #2 Marriage Is Between a Man and a Woman

God designed men and women to unite as one in marriage with the capability of creating new life. They become helpmates, each spouse using the gifts God gave them.

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper for him.” Gen. 2:18

“Haven’t you read,” he [Jesus] replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’⁵and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?” Matt. 19:4-5

And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen. 1:28 ESV

God gave women the blessing of carrying and giving birth to babies when that’s possible. Clearly only women can get pregnant and anyone who thinks otherwise is deceived or delusional.

¹¹Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.¹²For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 1 Cor. 11:11-12

Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers? Job 31:15

The husband’s role is spiritual leader of the home protecting and loving his wife while wives acknowledge his leadership and both husband and wife submit to following Christ.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. ²²Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. ²³For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. ²⁴Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. ²⁵Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her ²⁶to make her holy, cleansing^[^a^] her by the washing with water through the word. Eph. 5:21-26

⁷Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. 1 Pet. 3:7

Truth #3 Sex is Between a Man and a Woman

God uniquely and deliberately created man and woman to fit perfectly together sexually. He clearly states that sex is between a heterosexual husband and wife. We must not be afraid to proclaim and live by this truth! Anything else is an abomination to the Lord.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. Rom. 1:26-27 ESV

²²“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable’”. Lev. 18:22

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this. Deut. 22:5

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality. 1 Cor. 6:9 ESV

¹⁰The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders,^[^c^] liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching ¹¹that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God. 1 Tim. 1:10-11 NLT

Truth #4 Parents Are a Male and a Female

Parents consist of a male father and a female mother, not two fathers nor two mothers, although there often are single parents for a variety of reasons. When there are two parents, Dad is the head of the family but both Mom and Dad work together as a team raising the family.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—so it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on earth. Eph. 6:1

She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. ²⁸Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: ²⁹“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Pr. 31:27-29 NLT

Sexual and Gender Distortion is from Satan, the Father of Lies!

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Is. 5:2

Often, we’ll hear that the Bible doesn’t speak to gender or sexual issues, but that’s lying misinformation straight from Satan. Christians must address the gender crisis today speaking the truth with clarity and authority from God’s perspective as stated in the Word of God, the Bible.

Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. Eph. 5:11

Silence in the face of Satan’s lies conveys condoning and apathy to the many who will face eternity separated from God in hell. We could make an eternal difference in their life by sharing God’s truth. I wish more pastors understood the mantel God gives them to speak out against evil. That’s not political; it’s biblical! People need to hear where their sin leads.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor. 6:9-10 ESV

⁴Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? ⁵But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. ⁶He will judge everyone according to what they have done. ⁷He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. ⁸But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. ⁹There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.^[^a^] ¹⁰But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. ¹¹For God does not show favoritism. We need to tell the truth. Our culture needs to hear the truth. Yes, it’s easier to blend into the background and avoid offending anyone. But do we want to offend God? If we don’t tell the whole truth, then we will.”—Pastor Greg Laurie

I’m happy to report that our Idaho Governor, Brad Little, just joined two other state governors in signing a bill barring transgender students from using any school facilities like bathrooms, locker rooms, or overnight field trip facilities not consistent with their biological gender, regardless of their “gender identity.” Many Idahoan Christians, churches, and advocates like the Values Advocacy Council made their voices heard in getting this bill passed and signed.

Biology and morality should always triumph over confused “identity.” You are the gender God made you to be!

What Is the Biblical Truth Behind Genders and Their Roles in Society?—Part 1

When I started writing, I had so much to say, or I should clarify the Bible has so much to say, and I wanted to include evolving current events . . . I decided to break this blog into two parts. So, we’ll get started this week and finish with Part 2 in next Monday’s blog.

Today’s liberal culture is trying to blur the lines between genders by encouraging young children to be discontent with the way God created them. There’s a small but vocal demonic force attempting to cancel and silence anyone who says the truth that men cannot be women and women cannot be men. No matter how many surgeries or hormones someone takes or how they dress in the opposite gender’s clothes, men are still men and women are still women.

Not that long ago, those wouldn’t be controversial statements, but because the alphabet community has tried to legitimize a Sodom and Gomorrah culture, young children are victimized with false and explicit sexual indoctrination and grooming with the legal approval of many city, state, school, and government officials.

Pornography is now included in school curriculum and flaunted in libraries. There was a time when those with child pornography on their computer were arrested as pedophiles, but now perverted men dressed outrageously as women can provocatively dance and gyrate in front of young children and anyone who complains is canceled or called intolerant or even a “hater.”

But complain we must regardless of what names we’re called or lies said about us. God is clear that we shouldn’t tolerate perversion. We should hate the sexualization of young children and we should protect them!
⁶“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. ⁷Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! Matt. 18:6-7

Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Ps. 97:10

Here are some of the books that Gov. Ron DeSantis was criticized by the left for pulling from Florida schools and are widely distributed in other state schools and libraries like in California. Are they in your children’s schools or libraries too?

Gender Queer: A Memoir – an explicitly pornographic book showing sex acts and marketed for grades 7-12.
Flamer – a graphic book about young boys engaging in various sexual acts at a summer camp.
This Book Is Gay – a book containing instructions on “the ins and outs of gay sex.”
Let’s Talk About It – a book that contains graphic depictions about how to masturbate for males and females — as well as encouraging youth to use the internet to talk to strangers about sex.

Are you shocked? I hope so! These sexually explicit and graphic books encourage children to talk to strangers and seek out more sexual information and connections on the internet! Others tell them to keep secrets from their parents. Yes, these are in public schools and libraries!!

Libraries and schools used to be a safe neutral space for children, but no longer. Many Democrat progressive liberal librarians, teachers, and school board councils are adopting evil deviant propaganda, curriculum, and policies to inflict on innocent children. But praise God for those Governors, parents, child-protection advocates like California Reform, Christians, pastors, and even some celebrities willing to confront evil with good.

Christian actor and author Kirk Cameron’s children’s book “As You Grow” is about the fruit of the spirit: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Gal. 5:22-23).

So the protests and pushback against him reading his book in libraries is satanic because who else wouldn’t want children to know about those virtues? You can read here about the harassment he and Missy Robertson from Duck Dynasty, who also has a Christian children’s book, received at a library in Tennessee. A few days later in Arkansas, ghoulish dressed drag queens attended a library reading event to interrupt Cameron and harass those attending.

Cameron, who was turned down by 50 libraries, some of which hosted drag queen story hours, labeled the disruptors as a “small group of protesters, which included some grown men wearing silly makeup, dressed in skirts and heels, pretending to be women.”

Brave Books chief of staff Zac Bell said, “In coming to Fayetteville, Arkansas we expected to get a ton of supportive Christian and conservative families to show up. What we did not expect was for a group of drag queens and activists to attend and walk up and down the event giving the children in attendance the creeps.”

Christian Chaya Raichik, creator of “LibsOfTikTok” which exposes the liberal TikTok videos especially of teachers, also authored a Christian children’s book “No More Secrets: The Candy Cavern.” She planned a story hour in New York as a rival event to New York lawmakers, including Attorney General Letitia James,’ drag queen family story hour on Sunday March 19 sponsored by “The Pride Center of Staten Island, Queens Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and Destination Tomorrow, a grassroots, LGBTQ event.”

To advertise her family story event, Chaya tweeted on her LibsOfTikTok account the website to her publisher Brave Books (also the publisher of Kirk Cameron’s book) and added, “Help kids be able to spot predatory behavior. Such an important message!”

James’ drag story event went on as scheduled, but Chaya’s publisher canceled her story hour due to threats of “inappropriate and unsafe behavior” of protestors planning to attend. Brave Books felt with children being involved “we don’t want to take any chances.”

These disturbed twisted protestors aren’t happy just having their own inappropriate events. No, they want to prevent appropriate events from offering wholesome family experiences. So, for anyone defending the trans and drag agenda, think about that for a moment.

The Truth is Never Afraid of Lies, but a Lie Can’t Survive the Truth!

I recently heard a pastor say, “Speak the truth. Don’t leave your faith at the curb!”

Don’t be silent when confronted with lies. Now is the time to speak truth to evil as those subverting righteousness try to silence us. If Christians ever stop speaking The Truth, our society will quickly crumble. In our own state of Idaho, it’s been the pastors and Christians of the Advocacy Values Council who’ve taken the lead in being present and vocal in stopping absurdities like trying to kill unborn babies, letting men invade the privacy of girl’s bathrooms, or mutilating young children in local hospitals.

One of the things I do when asked to fill out a form, maybe at a doctors’ office or an enrollment form, if it lists more than male or female as selections (like the opening picture), I let them know that’s offensive to me and remind them that there are only two genders. I do the same thing if the form asks what pronouns I want. Often, I’m told it was some new electronic form and they didn’t even know other options were listed and they’ll register my complaint.

We must diligently work to combat the agenda of the current administration. Biden called it “sinful” that Governor DeSantis is prohibiting gender mutilation of minors in Florida and Biden’s male dressed as a woman Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Richard Levine promised that medically changing kids’ genders will soon be normalized and has the highest support of the Biden Administration!

I hope you’re saying with me, “Not on my watch as long as God gives me breath!”

So, what’s the biblical truth behind gender roles? Next week, we’ll take a close look at Scriptures that provide truth for you to share from God’s perspective when faced with cultural lies and distortion.

We can’t lose hope, but we do need to pushback against the lies of the devil.

We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength and courage!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
