Before awakening Saturday morning to learn that America and Israel had joined forces to attack Iran, I’d planned to write about my response to the State of the Union (SOTU), but that almost seems like old news now. However, I understand why President Trump waited until after the SOTU before launching this Iranian attack because he wanted the American public to observe a few things first.
Who would stand with him in Operation Epic Fury and who would immediately object? Actually, who would object to anything he does or says?
During the SOTU, with few exceptions, the Democrats sat on their hands with scowls on their faces, some even yelling and harassing him as if they were at a protest rally. Democrats who abdicated their congressional duty by boycotting his speech held a bizarre event with jungle posters, furies, profanity-laced rappers and speakers, disgraced and fired former newscasters, and a Trump-hating fowl-mouthed washed-up actor. They think that F-ing everything is going to win them votes instead of cringes and repulsion.
For those who did attend SOTU, we saw the stark contrast between Republicans and Democrats.
A tale of two different countries. Two different sets of morals and values. Good vs. evil!
- Republicans: “USA, USA, USA!” Democrats: “KKK, KKK, KKK!”
- Republicans stood and clapped for American families. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for combat veterans. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for strong borders. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for secure elections. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for Angel Families. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for No Tax on Tips, Overtime, or Social Security. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for Parental Rights. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood and clapped for a 5 year-old severely injured by an illegal with a commercial truck license. Democrats sat and sulked as she smiles and waves.
- Republicans stood and clapped for the crying parents of Iryna Zarutska murdered by a career criminal. Democrats sat and sulked.
- Republicans stood for a woman whose school & doctors pushed gender transition on her behind her parents’ back. Democrats ignored her as a man dressed like a woman sat amongst them.
The final Trump zinger: “Stand if you agree: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”
Republicans jumped to their feet whistling and applauding loudly.
In front of millions watching, Congressional Democrats remained seated and scowling.
Trump rightfully called the Democrats “Crazy” and chastised, “You should be ashamed of yourselves.”
So is it any surprise that in the dark of night, 10 minutes before President Donald Trump even announced that the U.S. and Israel had attacked Iran, a network of U.S. nonprofits aligned with China, Russia, and Tehran swung into action. Even as the initial bombs were dropping, they activated foot soldiers to hit America’s streets with ready-made anti-U.S. talking points signs.
Why China and Russia sponsoring the protests? Todd Starnes answered that question well:
“Do you understand the significance of what is happening in world affairs right now? This was never just about Iran. This was about Russia and China – and putting both of those nations on their backs on the global stage. This was about protecting the American people from a nuclear Iran. This was about protecting our great ally from being annihilated. And if President Trump succeeds in defeating Iran, this will be the greatest foreign policy achievement in modern political history.”
What Does the Bible Say About America’s Operation Epic Fury and Israel’s Roaring Lion?
The following is by Facebook friend Jan Blount Martin shared with permission.
“If you’re criticizing the fact that the United States and Israel have joined together to take down the regime in Iran, you are biblically illiterate.
The place “Israel” was given to the Jewish people as their nation . . . If you think God has forsaken the Jewish people because they are not “religious” as they once were, you are again, biblically illiterate. The number of times the Jewish people disappointed God because of their decisions to wander away from him are many, yet God never broke covenant with them because his covenant with them was everlasting and God does not break his covenants.
The evidence that he did not break covenant with them was that in spite of the many times that they forsook him, he still sent his son to be their Messiah as He had promised them, which was the very foundation of his covenant with them. And for the record, Christians did not replace the Jews, but are grafted in to God’s covenant with the Jews because of what Jesus did on the cross.
Too many people who are spewing their hate for Israel, are mistaking a place with a people. I am an American born and raised, and who is running my government does not define me. America is a place but Americans are people. Israel is a place but Israelis are a people who are descendants of Jacob and the 12 tribes which began with Jacob‘s 12 sons. Jacob was not a place. He was a person who was renamed Israel.
God loves and protects his children, regardless of where they live or who their government is. Iran is a threat to us all. They hate Jews and Christians alike. America is considered a Christian nation just as Israel is considered a Jewish nation, and Iran is a threat to us both.
I have said all of this to say; God bless President Trump for being willing to take action with Israel to take down the biggest terrorist regime in the world! May God bless and protect our military troops, and may we as Americans support and honor those willing to serve.”
‘47’ Helps Free Iran After 47 Years!
Iran was biblically and historically Persia until 1935 when the name was changed in an effort to modernize the country and promote a unified sense of pride among its citizens. In 1979, Iran underwent an oppressive Islamic regime revolution, which has held power for 47 years!
President Trump is now our 47th President. He was also our 45th President. He tried to become our 46.th Many of us lamented that election was stolen, but it’s evident today that God had a different plan for President Trump for such a time as this.
Whether or not you like President Trump is irrelevant to biblical and historical prophecy.
In Isaiah 45, God calls pagan political leader Cyrus, the King of Persia, to let the Jews return from Babylonian exile and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, earning Cyrus a unique status as a divinely appointed liberator in Jewish tradition.
When Trump became the 45th president in the 2016 election, many people saw the parallel between him and Cyrus. Trump did what many previous Presidents promised but never did. On December 6, 2017, he relocated the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and America recognized Jerusalem as the capital city of the State of Israel!
Today, as the 47th President, Trump is working with Israel to free Iran from 47 years of Islamic tyranny. Lisa Daftari, an Iranian American, describes the past 47 years after Iran’s Islamic Revolution overthrew the U.S. backed Shah in 1979:
“Let me be very clear: America did not start a war with the Islamic Republic. The regime declared war on us [America] in 1979, when militants stormed our embassy in Tehran, seized American diplomats, and held 52 of them hostage for 444 days. Since then, the regime and its proxies have targeted our service members, our diplomats, and our partners across the region through terrorism, rocket and drone attacks, and assassination plots.
They have built and directed a vast network of militias and terrorist organizations that have attacked U.S. forces and allies in Lebanon, Iraq, the Persian Gulf, and beyond, and they continue to explore options for asymmetric attacks, including the potential use of covert operatives and sleeper cells right here against Americans at home and abroad. This has been the regime’s established playbook for nearly 50 years; it’s just that most American presidents decided to ignore or in some cases, fuel, this threat.
So no, President Trump did not ‘start’ a war with Iran’s regime. Together with Prime Minister Netanyahu, he made the difficult and consequential decision to confront and, ultimately, end it. And yes, the Iranian people, the broader Middle East, and we Americans will be safer for generations for it.”
Following is a personal testimony of someone who witnessed the takeover of Iran by Tehran’s Islamic Republic regime:
“47 years ago, I stood at a window in Tehran as a 3-year-old boy, smelling burning tires and hearing the chants that would steal my country. I didn’t have words for what was happening. Today, I am watching smoke rise over the same city — but this time the smoke is not the end of Iran. It is, God willing, the beginning of her resurrection.
Several weeks ago, I wrote that the fever of 1979 was finally breaking. I never imagined I would wake up to see that fever confronted so directly. Israel — with the clear support of the United States — has launched a preemptive strike deep into Tehran and against the regime’s military machinery. Explosions in the capital. Military targets hit. The IRGC’s aura of invincibility, already cracked, is shattering in real time.
I do not celebrate war. No decent person does. What I celebrate — what millions of Iranians inside the country and in the diaspora have prayed for in secret for decades — is the possibility that a regime which has no right to exist may finally be forced to go.
This is the same regime that:
– Armed and cheered the October 7 massacre against Israel for no reason other than pure genocidal hatred.
– Murdered tens of thousands of its own sons and daughters who dared to walk peacefully in the streets demanding the most basic freedoms.
– Gouges out the eyes of young women for the “crime” of wearing makeup.
– Hangs teenagers from cranes for posting a tweet.
– Exports terror, poverty, and darkness to every corner it can reach including the U.S.
No nation, no people, should have to live under that. Not Israelis. Not Americans. Not Lebanese. Not Syrians. And certainly not Iranians.
I am a physician who has spent his life trying to heal bodies and a son of Iran who has spent his life mourning a stolen homeland. What we are witnessing is not aggression — it is surgery. Painful, necessary surgery to remove a tumor that has metastasized for 47 years. The tumor is the Islamic Republic that has hijacked Iran.
To the brave pilots and special operators of the Israeli Air Force and the men and women of the United States military now carrying out this mission: I pray for you with everything I have.
May God shield you from harm. May every missile find its target and every soldier return home safely to the families who love them. You are not invaders. You are the answer to the prayers of millions who have whispered “enough” in the dark since 1979. You are giving our friends the chance to breathe free air again. The entire region will owe you a peace we have not known in my lifetime.
To my fellow Iranians watching from inside the country right now, heart pounding, maybe hiding in basements or on rooftops: Hold on. The end is clearer than it has ever been. The regime’s fear is real. Their eyes — those same eyes that once stared down at us with absolute power — now show something they haven’t shown in decades: panic. The math has changed. The window of 1979 is finally closing.
To the little three-year-old boy I once was — and to every little boy and girl in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tabriz today who hears explosions instead of lullabies: This time the sounds are not the closing of a door. They are the opening of one.
The road ahead will not be easy. Transitions never are. But the direction is unmistakable. A secular, prosperous, free Iran is no longer a dream — it is becoming an inevitability.
I have lived the stolen life so that others might not have to. Today, for the first time in 47 years, I allow myself to believe that the stealing is almost over.
Thank you, Israel. Thank you, America. The Iranian people — the real Iran — will never forget.
The fever is breaking.
The dawn of 2026 is here.
And this time, the light wins.“– Testimony written by Houmand David Hemmati, MD, PHD
Randy Kay Ministries encourages: “But hear me: God is not surprised. This isn’t a time for politics, but it is a time to turn your life over to Jesus because He’s definitely not surprised with what’s happening right now and it will all work out to His glory either here or in eternity.
God’s not wringing His hands in Heaven. He told us these things would happen. Jesus Himself said in Luke 21:28: ‘When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.’
This is not the time to cower. This is the time to rise and stand up for Jesus.”
Amen!
Which brings me back to the State of the Union when President Trump asked everyone in the room to stand if you believe that the government’s first duty is to protect American citizens, not illegals and the Democrats stayed seated. Now, we’re watching in real time, the majority of Democrats criticizing President Trump’s actions to protect America from Iranian nuclear obliteration. Putting partisan politics over our protection, Democrats would rather let the Iranian tyrannical regime nuke Israel, “the little Satan,” and then come for America “the big Satan!”
Is that who you want governing America? If the Democrats ever get back in power again, they will undo all the good the Trump Administration has done to protect us from evil within and outside our borders.
Iranian-American Democrat Moj Mahdara told Dana Bash on CNN about the freeing of Iran: “This will be like ending the Soviet Union, the Berlin Wall.” She continued, “This is a transformational moment for humankind, for security, and as an American, as an American, this is in our interest to complete it. So, I am a Democrat, I have been a huge Democrat. I am incredibly disappointed with my party. I do not see myself in them in this moment,” she added.
So, I Janet am asking, even if you’re a Democrat like Moj Mahdara and it goes against your party, will you stand up for protecting America and God’s chosen people in Israel and freeing the Iranian people?
Next, I’m asking will you stand up unashamedly for Jesus in the public square, in your family, in your workplace, everywhere and anywhere God takes you outside the church walls?
I pray your answer is, “Of course!” Because voting biblically and living biblically is how we’re called to occupy until Christ returns for His church and it seems very clear that could be in some of your lifetimes . . . maybe even in mine!
Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. Ps. 122:6 NLT
A time for war and a time for peace. Ecc. 3:8 NLT
“This isn’t just a political shift. This is prophecy colliding with time. The veils are lifting. The trumpets are sounding. The era of fear is over, and the era of the Liberator has begun.
Bondage broken. Destiny reclaimed. History is ROARING.” –Afshine Emrani
