Only God Decides the End of the World!

When a politician, or a former bartender turned politician, or a radical climate zealot predicts “We’re all going to die! We only have so many years to live on earth unless you listen to me,” I think, or sometimes say aloud, “You’re not God. Only God knows the last day of this earth. God will decide when the world ends!”

In 2019, AOC a young freshman progressive liberal Congresswoman with no scientific or climate expertise absurdly proclaimed that climate change would “destroy the planet” by the year 2031 if people fail to address a generational challenge she likened to “Word War II.”

“Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?’” Ocasio-Cortez told interviewer Tanehisi Coates at an “MLK Now” event in New York. Failed presidential candidate, Beto O’Rourke echoed her crazy foolishness even though scientists and climate experts quickly debunked her wild baseless prediction. Neither of them ever retracted their hysterical proclamations.

AOC and Bernie Sanders, another socialist climate zealot politician, were proposing the New Green Deal to eliminate cow flatulence and gas fueled cars, while using wind and solar power exclusively, and discontinuing the use of Fossil Fuels, which was making America energy independent for the first time in history.

While AOC appeared arrogantly confident, no one but climate cult activists took her seriously. Others had tried to play God before with always the same outcome: the world did not end! Maybe you remember some of these failed predictions.

1. In 1967, Famine 1975! America’s Decision: Who Will Survive? predicted mass starvation around the developing world due to increasing population. “Today’s crisis can move in only one direction – toward catastrophe,” it warned.

2. In 1970, Sen. Gaylord Nelson, D-Wisc., – often considered the “father of Earth Day” – cited the secretary of the Smithsonian, who “believes that in 25 years, somewhere between 75 and 80 percent of all the species of living animals will be extinct.”

3. Global cooling was once a worry to many. In 1975, British science writer Nigel Calder warned in International Wildlife magazine, “The threat of a new ice age must now stand alongside nuclear war as a likely source of wholesale death and misery for mankind.” University of California at Davis professor Kenneth Watt agreed that present trends would make the world “eleven degrees colder in the year 2000 … about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”

4. In 1982, U.N. official Mostafa Tolba, executive director of the UN Environment Program, warned: “By the turn of the century, [2000] an environmental catastrophe will witness devastation as complete, as irreversible, as any nuclear holocaust.”

5. In 1989, since the proclaimed climate ice age threat never occurred, climate activists turned to predict the opposite: global warming! A senior U.N. environmental official, Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, said entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. “Shifting climate patterns would bring back 1930s Dust Bowl conditions to Canadian and U.S. wheatlands.” Instead, U.S. and global farm production rose, and more than 1 billion people worldwide rose out of extreme poverty due to economic growth.

Brown also claimed: “the most conservative scientific estimate [is] that the Earth’s temperature will rise 1 to 7 degrees in the next 30 years.” But looking back from 2019, the temperature rose about half of a degree Celsius since 1989, according to NASA.

6. Scientist Harrison Brown predicted in Scientific American that lead, zinc, tin, gold and silver deposits would be fully depleted before 1990.

7. In 2006, while promoting his movie “An Inconvenient Truth,” Al Gore said that humanity had only 10 years left before the world would reach a point of no return.

Then came along AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Beto O’Rourke!

What Is the Motivation of Climate Extremists and Environmental Alarmists?

Revealingly, economist Walter E. Williams says environmentalists have occasionally tipped their hand about what motivates their predictions. “We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have.”

Williams also cites Sen. Timothy Wirth, a Democrat from Colorado, who said in 1988: “We’ve got to … try to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong … we will be doing the right thing anyway in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.”

Stephen Schneider, a professor of Biology at Stanford University, said to Discover magazine in 1989. “Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.”

George Mason University economist Walter E. Williams argues that there are so many apocalyptic predictions because “they have an agenda for more government control … fear about the environment is a way to gain government control,” Williams told Fox News.

“Communism and socialism have lost respectability, so it’s been repackaged as environmentalism,” he added. “It’s like watermelons — green on the outside, red on the inside.”

What do all of the above predictions have in common besides they didn’t happen? They were all trying to create government policies to control nature and people. In a naked grab for power, they use unsubstantiated scare tactics to instill fear in those who believe them. Especially vulnerable are adolescents who keep hearing the world is going to end and they’re going to die if we don’t go green!

Just like many have tried to predict the day Jesus will return, end of the world alarmists will always be wrong. Only God knows those days and anyone trying to play God will always fail.

“However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.” Matt. 24:36 NLT

So think about it. When’s the last time you heard AOC declare more of her scaremongering that by now the world will end in nine years? Well, she hasn’t had to do that because when Biden came into office and the Democrats took over Congress and a close majority in the Senate, they’ve been gradually trying to slip their New Green Deal into policies and bills like the current big spending bill that it seems only Joe Manchin can prevent. Manchin’s one vote derailed Biden’s Build Back Better fiasco bill.

Here’s why Manchin hopefully will nix the new bill: “Hopes for a quick deal were cut short, however, this week. Manchin informed Schumer and other members of the Democratic leadership that he could not support including tax hikes and climate change subsidies within the package until the nation’s economic picture became clearer.” 

Pray for Manchin to stand strong against the pressure he’s receiving to cave by Democrats like socialist Bernie Sanders who admits this bill is all about climate change, which he calls “an existential threat to humanity!” Radical ideologs love that word “existential” don’t they!

God is in control of the climate no matter how hard the government tries to convince us that they are in charge. They’re only using climate control as a scare tactic to force you to obey and conform to government control. Communism!

The liberals don’t really care about the future of the planet. They’re bowing to the Environmentalist Extremist Lobby and they’re using Biden to achieve their goals. His first day in office, Biden started the war on fossil fuels, which immediately put people out of work and started raising the price of gas, diesel for trucks, and fertilizer which is a product of petroleum. It’s the environmentalists and the Biden administration causing the food shortages and high prices at the pump and grocery counter!

With the stroke of a pen, Biden took us from complete energy independence from the Trump era to begging from our enemies for energy. The hypocrisy and insanity is that none of these elitists crippling American energy thinks anything of jumping in their private planes and limos.

We’ve seen what’s happened in Europe when they decided to radically implement the environmental extremists’ green agenda. Now Germany is dependent on Russia for energy because they shut down their own energy independence. Biden just flew 7000 miles on Air Force One to Saudi Arabia to beg for oil. Plus transporting all their large gas-guzzling vehicles! What kind of carbon footprint did that create when he could have called Texas, Alaska, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma and told them to start drilling again!

The chaos in Sri Lanka and the Netherlands right now with people starving and rioting in the streets is because they bought the lie DAVOS fed them and with extreme and hasty actions on climate . . . they destroyed their economy, farming dried up, and their country is in turmoil. The same disaster is being repeated throughout Europe and now the USA!

To quote Lance Wallnau, “The environmentalists are crazy. They are more fanatic than Al-Qaeda! Environmentalists are under control of demons and the politicians are under control of them, and they’re trying to now control us.”

What Does God Say About the Environment?

When you open your Bible to Genesis, the first thing you read about is God creating the environment by speaking into existence the earth, moon, sun, oceans, land, trees, plants, fish, birds, animals. Then God said, “It was very good!”

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Gen. 1:1

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Gen. 1:26

Regarding populating the earth, “And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen. 1:28

A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Ps. 24:1-2 ESV

The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them. Ps. 89:11 ESV

God is in control of the world and all that’s in it. No attempt of environmentalists, politicians, or crazy climate activist alarmists will ever change the climate or when God decides it’s time to end this world and start the new one!

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Col. 1:16-17 ESV

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Rev. 21:1-4 NLT

The climate activists and extremists have created their own cult and religion worshipping the environment they think they can control and not worshipping the Creator who is in control of everything. God told us how to live on the earth He created for us.

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Rev. 4:11 ESV

 “You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you. Neh. 9:6 ESV

 “If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Lev. 26:3-4

For “the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” 1 Cor. 10:26

Man didn’t create the world and he can’t end the world! Only God controls the end time for the earth and our earthly life, but we can spend eternity with Him in Paradise if we only believe in His Son, Jesus Christ.

 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[b] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[c]

29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. 30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” Acts 17:24-31

Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. 90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Ps. 119:89-90

I don’t know about you but when I hear the words “liberal world order,” I bristle. Liberal world order is apparently what globalists, including Biden, meant all along when they spoke of a “new world order” and a “new normal transition” as the Biden Administration tries to destroy America and create their new Marxist version of our country.

When asked about how families are to contend with inflation and the rising cost of gas, Biden Administration official, Brian Deese, reiterated what Biden said on the global stage: “This is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to stand firm.” What Is the ‘Liberal World Order?’ Biden Adviser’s Remarks Spark Derision (msn.com)

Was that a slip of the tongue or was Deese telling us the devious Biden plan?! By standing firm, he meant suffering with outrageous gas prices as America enriches China, India, and Russia with America’s oil reserves. Watch food outages appear in our own country rich in agricultural potential while prices at the market double and triple.

Who agreed to standing firm for this “New Liberal World Order” being forced on us? I can only think about the prelude to the antichrist who will one day rule over the global liberal world order.

Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, uses the “Great Reset” to refer to the globalist vision for the future. The elite met there again in May to reassert their control over politics worldwide. Liberal World Order: “As Long as it Takes”? (townhall.com)

While the phrase “new world order” is generally used to denote a significant geopolitical change, it can also designate a theory that stipulates a secretive globalist authority is seeking to control the world under a totalitarian regime and strip sovereign countries and its citizens of their freedom.

Is that what the Biden Administration is planning for us? Is that why they’re so afraid of the patriotic populist uprising of citizens who want to keep their national identity, national pride, and freedoms?

Populists don’t want to be melded into other nations where only “the elite”—an amorphous entity made up of a political, economic, cultural, and media establishment that places its own interests along with those of other interest groups such as immigrants, labor unions, and large corporations over the interests of “the people”—would benefit. While citizens become servants as the elite take what we own and force us to follow their new rules.

Is that why so many on the progressive left were denouncing July 4th and the celebration of America’s freedom from England’s tyrannical rule?

The left has already created a society devoid of joy, romance, beauty, and wonder while trying to rob the innocence of our children. Disneyland has stopped welcoming “girls and boys”! The National Education Association is trying to erase mothers. Some have equated our current culture to living in a science fiction novel where evil is rewarded and good is punished. Criminals have all the rights and the innocent lack justice. A drag queen crossdresser and a man who dresses like a woman achieve key positions in the White House administration not because of knowledge or ability but “diversity.”

People can lose their jobs by refusing to use woke pronouns or young children can even be sued in school! Motherhood is demeaned and people scream angrily in the streets for the “right” to kill babies.

While we are indeed groaning under the rule of incompetent globalists, there is reason to rejoice that righteousness is returning to our country.

Don’t Lose Hope!

We’re seeing a shift from the wicked plans of this administration for America. We’re winning and we’re not going to take it anymore!

We must remember that God is on the side of virtue, morality, and justice! He has NEVER lost a battle. We’re going to have a future heavenly world order here on earth by God’s power and we’re starting to see it now. The left, liberals, progressives, Biden, Pelosi, or a liberal world order doesn’t intimidate God and we shouldn’t be intimidated either. God is exposing all their ill intents, deceits, and criminality.

God is not at the mercy of demons or demonic people. After all God created the world and set it in order!

He [God] lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order. 1 Samuel 2:8 NLT

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has sworn this oath: “It will all happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided. Isaiah 14:24 NLT

May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Matt. 6:10 NLT

We need to start celebrating our wins and keep praying for future victories.

June 24th with the SCOTUS overturn of Roe v Wade was a long-awaited victory that we must never forget or minimize the years of tireless work and prayers of so many faithful saints. Christians everywhere should be praising God and celebrating a win for life.

Coach Kennedy’s Supreme Court win allowing prayer on a school campus was a victory for religious liberty.

Maine parents’ win in the Supreme Court prohibits the exclusion of Christian schools from state funds, vouchers, and resources opening the door for school choice. Again, another win for religious liberty.

SCOTUS struck down a New York handgun-licensing law that required New Yorkers who want to carry a handgun in public to show a special need to defend themselves which violated the 2nd Amendment.

We’re really on a role if you think about it!

We Must Take Our Direction from God and Not the World!

I believe because Biden is trying to change America from a republic to a dictatorship, from independence to dependence, from greatness to a joke, from God-centered to godless, God will exploit this evil for His own gain and glory. If we stay strong in living out our faith, sharing gospel love, praying, and evangelizing, we will see our country turning back to God. We’ve seen the devastation that comes from exploiting evil and people will be ripe for a better way of life and we have just the answer they’re seeking: Jesus Christ!

God is giving us power and marching orders and time to disrupt the liberal global world order. It’s not time for Revelation to be fulfilled yet, but it could be coming soon. People need to get ready; they need the Lord. They may love our country but the question we must ask is, “Do you love Jesus?”

Don’t look to the headlines and be filled with fear and anxiety, look to God and be filled with joy and anticipation.

You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripefor harvest. John 4:35 NLT

I don’t know who God has planned for our country’s next President, but let’s pray that he is a good and righteous leader who loves the ways of the Lord and God will give us strength, boldness, and courage while we wait.

The 4th of July Is for Americans Who Love Their Country!

Did you ever think we would be living in a time when love of country, respect for the American Flag, and standing for the National Anthem would become controversial? Patriotism booed and considered deplorable? Some schools not allowing children to wear patriotic clothing or even starting their school day with the Pledge of Allegiance? Athletes representing the USA abroad disgracing our country and disgracing themselves? Patriots even being labeled as terrorists by the White House?

How did we become a country of ungrateful, unpatriotic citizens? Or are these just the people who yell the loudest and the media covers incessantly with glee?!

How did government officials who seem to hate America and want to destroy our Republic ever get elected?

One of my favorite songs is “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. I sing along whenever I hear it, especially the lines, “I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free!” Yet we just lived through several years where our freedoms were denied and we’re watching the left in power now trying to remove more of our freedoms.

I am proud to be an American, but not proud of all Americans.

It’s strange to hear some saying don’t make the 4th of July political when Independence Day marked the initiation of politics!

Have you watched shows where they do a man-on-the-street interview and ask people if they know facts about our country’s history? I wonder how many could answer questions about the 4th of July and why it’s a national holiday. Here’s a fun quiz.

“What does July 4th stand for?

  • From what country did America fight to win their freedom?
  • Why is July 4th Independence Day?
  • What year was the Declaration of Independence signed and adopted?
  • What is the significance of 13 stripes and 50 stars?
  • Why are our patriotic colors red, white, and blue?
  • What does a national flag represent?
  • Why are caskets of fallen soldiers wrapped in the American flag?
  • Why do we have fireworks on the 4th of July?

How about asking these questions and offering a prize to the one who knows the most answers at your 4th of July gathering.

So many more historical facts are lost in a culture that has forgotten our roots or is trying to rewrite our history. Liberal politicians want to erase our heritage as if it never happened and turn a Country of Freedoms into a country of government socialistic control of the citizens.

Many politicians and legislatures are old enough to remember national history classes. But in their zeal to make America a progressive socialist country, they make it seem like the freedom of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness isn’t as valuable as the carrots they dangle of free healthcare, free college, free immigration free… free…which the naïve lap up without realizing nothing is free. They will pay the price with the loss of sovereignty and personal freedoms that so many brave soldiers gave their life to grant each of us. It will also cost us dearly in taxes, independence, and quality of life.

For example, under socialism people would soon discover that “free” healthcare doesn’t mean the best medical treatment you need when you need it. The government decides who, when, and to what extent you’re worthy of the healthcare they deem you can have or even whether they’ll let you have tests to receive a diagnosis. You won’t just pick up the phone and make a doctor’s appointment. You’ll go through legal red tape, waiting lines, and a faceless worker in Washington deciding whether your life is worth healing or saving.

There will always be a cost. For those politicians saying Medicare-for-all, Medicare is not free. There’s a monthly premium, and everyone pays another premium for a supplement plan to pick up what Medicare doesn’t pay. And many of us have a prescription plan we pay extra for, but still have copays for prescriptions. Bernie Sanders admits there will be a 70% increase in taxes, even to the middle class, while he tries to convince you that you’ll have no out-of-pocket. Lies! Lies! Lies!

Since the majority of Democrat run states plan to give illegal immigrants free healthcare, they’ll need to increase state taxes to pay for it at a time when inflation and the price of gas is stressing everyone’s budget. And how good do you think that healthcare is going to be when it’s stretched to the limits with no money to back it and millions of extra people getting it for “free.” That’s why none of the politicians have given specifics how they would achieve this. They’re just pandering with what they think people want to hear and no one is pressing them on details, or they won’t give interviews to those who will.

Some Democrat politicians have said we’re the only major country without socialized healthcare. What Americans need to remember is that the entire point of July 4th is that we didn’t want to be like other nations. We wanted independence! Other nations come to America for medical treatment. People are not migrating to other countries; they want to come to America because we aren’t like other nations. They come to America for a better life.

No other country was founded on Judeo Christian values, where our Presidents still say “God Bless America” in their speeches, although I haven’t heard Biden say that lately. And as hard as the liberal left is trying to move our country away from God, we need to stand in the gap and keep America a blessed nation under God. Where our currency still says, “In God We Trust” not “In the government we trust.”

The 4th of July celebrates the fight for freedom to be different from other countries. A Republic of the people, by the people, and for the people.

As you plan your festivities—parades, BBQs, fireworks, pool parties, trips to the beach, lake, or river—how about starting those events with the Pledge of Allegiance, singing the National Anthem, and a prayer to God who has allowed us to live in this great country. Remind the children at the gatherings why you’re celebrating this holiday. Our generation must pass down to the next generation our country’s history and why we don’t want to repeat past mistakes.

One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. Psalm 145:4

If anyone who refuses to stand for the National Anthem, say the Pledge of Allegiance, respectfully represent the USA abroad and at home, dares to celebrate the 4th of July . . . might I say they’re hypocrites who either have no idea what July 4th represents, or they have no idea what they’re even protesting.

God has allowed each of us to live in the greatest nation in the world. Have you ever woken up in the morning and said thank you God I’m an American? If we take God, freedom, and patriotism out of America, we won’t be able to say that anymore.

Have you noticed how both sides of the political arena are always saying, “The American people want to know.” “The American people deserve to know.” I don’t know about you, but they didn’t ask me.

Let’s tell them what the American people really want and deserve. A country that honors God, honors our flag, honors those who have gone before us and fought for our freedoms, and honors the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America and then we will be blessed!

 You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:

    will be blessed.

    will be blessed.

“God Made the Decision!”

Each Monday morning in early June, I anxiously searched to see if this would be the Monday SCOTUS released their decision on the Mississippi Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that could overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. But even after the unprecedented leak of Justice Alito’s preliminary opinion leading to the illegal intimidation and protesting at the personal homes of the Constitutionalist Justices, they stayed silent on their final decision. The Democrats in their now typical two-sided justice refused to call out the violence against churches, prolife and pregnancy centers, and even the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh. The biased Attorney General did nothing to stop the illegal invasion of the SCOTUS’ neighborhoods. Yet still SCOTUS did not reveal their decision.

Thursday night, June 23, our church Couples Small Group met at our home for a time of food, fellowship, and prayer. As we prayed, one of our sweet ladies asked me to pray for the upcoming abortion ruling. As I prayed, I felt the Holy Spirit taking over and the words weren’t my words but His. I prayed for God’s will to be done on earth and especially for protection for the justices and their families, but also for them to do their job boldly, bravely, legally. Not to be intimidated or influenced to vote any differently than their conscience and the Constitution guided them.

Then, Friday morning, June 24th it felt like Christmas when I saw the news flash that the Supreme Court had ruled to remove abortion as a federal issue, in essence nullifying and reversing Roe v. Wade which had justified the killing of over 63 million babies for 49 years! Many of us wondered if we would ever see our prayers answered in our lifetime, and yet here it was happening. Just as I had prayed the previous night, Justice Alito wrote,

“We do not pretend to know how our political system or society will respond to today’s decision overruling Roe and Casey. And even if we could foresee what will happen, we would have no authority to let that knowledge influence our decision. We can only do our job, which is to interpret the law, apply longstanding principles of stare decisis, and decide this case accordingly. We therefore hold that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion. Roe and Casey must be overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion must be returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

Which means, now the battle for the lives of innocent precious babies will be fought in each of the 50 states. Thirteen states already have trigger laws just waiting for this decision to ban abortion and other states are also working on variations of banning, but blue states are digging in with even more liberal abortion rights laws with California becoming a “sanctuary abortion” state for death to unwanted or inconvenient souls!

We all know that this long-awaited decision and righting of a horrific wrong, was the result of Donald J. Trump choosing three Justices that believe in adhering to the Constitution, which sadly seems to only be a conservative position as the liberal dissenting Justices want to bypass the Constitution, ignore it, or make their own rules.

The majority Justices were clear that their decision was not motivated by politics but instead adherence to our ruling document the Constitution. As Justice Alito said, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

“Our opinion is not based on any view about if and when prenatal life is entitled to any of the rights enjoyed after birth. The dissent, by contrast, would impose on the people a particular theory about when the rights of personhood begin. According to the dissent, the Constitution requires the States to regard a fetus as lacking even the most basic human right—to live—at least until an arbitrary point in a pregnancy has passed. Nothing in the Constitution or in our Nation’s legal traditions authorizes the Court to adopt that ‘theory of life.'”

“Roe found that the Constitution implicitly conferred a right to obtain an abortion, but it failed to ground its decision in text, history, or precedent. It relied on an erroneous historical narrative; it devoted great attention to and presumably relied on matters that have no bearing on the meaning of the Constitution; it disregarded the fundamental difference between the precedents on which it relied and the question before the Court; it concocted an elaborate set of rules, with different restrictions for each trimester of pregnancy, but it did not explain how this veritable code could be teased out of anything in the Constitution, the history of abortion laws, prior precedent, or any other cited source; and its most important rule (that States cannot protect fetal life prior to ‘viability’) was never raised by any Opinion of the Court party and has never been plausibly explained.”

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision,” Alito wrote.

In other words, there is NOTHING written or implied in the Constitution that gives anyone the “right” to abort or kill their unborn child. Killing babies should never be considered a “right,” morally or legally, but that’s what pro-death advocates are demanding, and it will now become their mantra as abortion is decided by the states.

Let’s be clear: overturning Roe saves the lives of human beings! Democrat and Republican babies, liberal and conservative babies, white black brown ALL babies!! This should not be a political issue. It’s actually not even simply a spiritual or strictly “Christian” issue as so many try to label it. It is a fundamental, biological, proven scientific fact that sex between a man and woman is how babies are created and we can now watch and hear them develop.

“Choice” begins with the choice to have sex. Sexual freedom to create life shouldn’t mean legal freedom to kill that inconvenient or unwanted life! Period. Looking at an ultrasound of a squirmy baby forming in the womb, how could anyone vote to approve the barbaric poisoning or dismembering of that child?

The history of the demented shooter in the horrific murder of those precious children in Uvalde was that he carried around bags of dead animals he killed, and that was a clue to his mental instability. Yet abortion clinics can have trash bags outside their clinics of dead human babies they kill and that’s considered normal!

This demonic demented torturous slaughter of children, even up to and after birth, is what the pro-abortion pro-death abortion-on-demand politicians, advocates, activists, and extremists are screaming should be legal. Demented people who intentionally kill pregnant animals can be prosecuted, but many feel that humans should be able to legally kill their own children in their mother’s bellies with no consequences?!

Demonic, deceived, evil is what I see in the face of a President and House Speaker who profess to be “very Catholic,” whatever that means, but vow to find a way to continue infanticide. It’s a sick disease of the soul. They’ve sold their soul for political power, and like everyone, they’ll answer to God for their choices.

I always hope a reporter will ask Pelosi which one of her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren she wishes she didn’t have when she gives her ludicrous speeches about women needing to eliminate their own children. She often mentions she should know how they feel because she had five children in six years. So is she saying she wishes she could’ve aborted one or more? Instead of using her platform to encourage women that you can still fulfill your dreams, as she did even as a mother of five, she maintains that women must have the “right” to kill their children. Yes, that’s demonic and deranged.

Whether you love or hate President Trump, when asked if he played a role in the SCOTUS decision, he responded, “God made the decision!” I would add that God made the decision to let him be President #45 at a very decisive time in the history of our country. And God made a decision to let the world see the evil festering in the Democrat party when He let Biden steal the election. The country had to see what the left does when they don’t get their evil way and I pray that Christian Conservative Republican candidates will run the board red in November. Elections have consequences and we’re watching the results right now.

Let’s stop complaining and start campaigning for the next generation of Conservative politicians to take back our country for God, family, and patriotism. The  SCOTUS ruling has showed us it can be done! Even if you’re in a so-called “blue state” don’t give up. The battle has just taken on a new dimension.

Our Family Choice for Life Story

Lest you think I’m writing on this topic without knowing personally the difference the life and death of an unborn baby can make to a family, let me bring home to you how giving life to a child influences generations to come in a family.

I have the blessing of almost thirty years married to my godly husband Dave because his mother Barbara’s birthmother chose life for her, and she was adopted. Barbara married Al and my husband Dave was born and he fathered three children, who gave birth to eight grandchildren because their grandmother Barbara was given life.

My daughter Kim’s grandmother, Jean, on her dad’s side was adopted, and because Jean’s birthmother chose to give her life, Jean gave birth to Kim’s dad, my first husband, and we had my precious daughter Kim.

Kim and her husband have three children. They adopted their first child Brandon at two weeks. His Hispanic birthmother was only 15 and Brandon was her second child she bravely chose to carry. Because of her choice to give Brandon life, we have a handsome 17-year-old grandson who has worked since he was 15, while remaining a straight A brilliant student in school and just bought his first car. Brandon is who I thought about as tears flowed reading the SCOTUS decision honoring the sanctity of life. I can’t imagine our family without him. He is such a blessing and loved so dearly.

How many other Barbara’s, Jean’s, and Brandon’s  didn’t get the opportunity to experience life and be a part of a family generational tree because their birthmothers walked into a Planned Parenthood clinic? Thank you Jesus that more of the children You create in their mother’s womb will now have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Why Is America a Republic and NOT a Democracy?

The topic of this blog may have surprised you. I was intrigued too when I initially heard the statement that America is a Republic and not a Democracy. Then, I began hearing this concept explained repeatedly by Conservative Constitutionalists I respect and became not only intrigued, but also curious to learn more. It resonated with me because I’d noticed the liberal left fixated on the word democracy as they oppose safe fair voting rights laws like voter ID or they attempt to eliminate, disregard, or illegally alter laws to allow voter fraud. The universal chant echoed by their marketing department, the liberal mainstream media, was that “Democracy will be threatened or even destroyed!”

The more I learned about their definition of democracy, the more I realized what they were really saying is they would lose power, which they’re desperate to maintain at any cost, even ignoring or breaking current laws and trying to establish new laws that would only benefit them, the Democrat party, not democracy for everyone!

Democracy to them is all about their power, not equal representation for All Americans, which our Founding Fathers envisioned when they wrote Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution. Notice the authors of the Constitution did not write that we would be a Democracy, but instead a Republic.

Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”

The principle behind this constitutional article was that in a republic, even the political party in the minority would still have a voice in the government to represent their constituents. A republic would be a participatory system where one side could not completely dominate and rule, but both sides would have a say in their government regardless of who was in the majority. The purpose was to avoid the tyranny of the majority in legislature, like we’re experiencing today. We the people, ALL the people, are supposed to have equal civil rights. In a republic, the government equally represents both political sides which discuss and debate issues together and consider what’s best for the country as a whole, not just the majority in power.

Our Founding Fathers were trying to prevent. . .

“A democracy mindset carries a lynch-mob, rule-of-the-majority MENTALITY that getting the most votes by any means necessary is the only thing that matters, even at the expense of human decency, manners, morals, truth, fact, fairness, and following the law. Nothing, but nothing, is as important as getting the most votes BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY including the use of lies, intimidation, preaching hate, voting fraud, and brutal violence, all methods used, throughout their party’s history, by those on the political Left. 

“Such tactics are precisely why our Founding Fathers UNANIMOUSLY REJECTED democracy and considered it to be “evil,” “wretched,” “a disease,” “the most vile form of government,” and wanted nothing to do with it. 

“Contrast democracy’s destructive mentality with the peaceful MINDSET of being a Republic where rule-of-law matters, whether it’s the majority or not. Republicanism means: “adherence to a republican form of government,” NOT a democratic form. It also means: “the principles, policy, or practices of the Republican party of the U.S.”

“As such, republicanism REJECTS the mob-rule mentality because established laws protect our personal rights and our civil rights, whereas democracy would PROTECT NOTHING because, unlike a republic, it’s fifty-one percent wins every time and whether it’s legal or moral doesn’t matter. By continuously selling their LIE of democracy, instead of the documented truth of our Republic, Democrats have brainwashed Americans by successfully BLURRING THE DISTINCTION between the two and instilled a MOB-RULE MENTALITY in their followers. 

“Ever since Democrats formally rejected our ‘Republican Form of Government’ by adopting the cause of democracy at their 1832 proslavery National Convention, Democrats have been involved in an ALL-OUT-EFFORT to OVERTHROW our Republic and its rule-of-law. They seek to replace it with the mob rule of democracy, where using fraud and violence to get their way is perfectly acceptable. Simply said, they’re SELFISH and want what they want and don’t care how they get it or who they hurt.” Article IV Section 4 – Reclaim Our Republic Because Truth Matters

The Democrats can only move their progressive/Marxist agenda with violence like we see with BLM, Antifa, pro-abortion extremists, and now the fraudulent January 6 Commission.

Dave Barton on Flashpoint pointed out that right and wrong today are determined by whether or not it hurts my agenda. We see that vividly in the two-tiered justice system in our country today. If something goes against the Democrat’s agenda, like let’s say abortion being overturned, they turn a blind eye to the danger, harassment, and threats against the conservative Supreme Court Judges, even though the law specifically prohibits going to their homes and protesting, not to mention trying to assassinate one of them.

But the White House, Biden, Pelosi, Garland don’t enforce the law and show their complicity with inaction. Schumer actually called for an insurrection and possible harm to Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, with no reprimand. Anti-abortion terrorist groups are systematically and violently defacing and attacking pro-life centers and churches with no accountability, while a year and a half later, conservative political prisoners from January 6 are still in solitary confinement in jails without trials.

Violence, intimidation, threats are the Democrats way of getting what they want, even breaking the law. We all know what would happen if Republicans were doing this.

Again, Article IV Section 4 – Reclaim Our Republic Because Truth Matters asks the questions:

“Didn’t Republicans learn anything from 2015 to 2021, when Democrats, in separate documented incidents, violently attacked upwards of one thousand Republican supporters of Donald Trump and more than one hundred Republican members of congress, killing some and hospitalizing others? Or from 2015 to 2021, when Democrat leaders like Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Tom Perez, Ilhan Omar, Ocasio Cortez, and others publicly called for more violence against Republicans? Or from 2017 to 2021, when Democrats again refused to accept the election of a Republican president by illegally attempting to remove him from office based on a fake Russian Dossier they created, followed by a fake impeachment based on a fake phone conversation they created? 

“Or from 2020 to today, when self-confessed Marxist Democrat terrorist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter used rioting, looting, burning, intimidation, brutal violence, and murder to occupy major portions of American cities for months on end? Or from 2020 to today, when Democrat-led big tech companies are attempting to silence and censure Republicans again? Or in 2021, when Democrat President Joe Biden proposed packing the Supreme Court again, this time adding 4 new Justices to give Democrats majority control?”

The Democrats want to pack the court and eliminate the electoral college so we will be governed solely by the popular vote, which would mean that 20 liberal Democrat-controlled blue cities and 9 blue states would tyrannically control America. We would no longer be a republic, but a democracy where the majority liberal left would literally rule as dictators forever or until the people rebel. Republicans would have no voice or vote in our country ever again. That is their ultimate goal at any cost.

Why am I telling you this? Because Conservatives are already being censured and silenced by those in power and they’re attempting to force us into “tolerance” of everything that goes against God and the way He wants His people to live, as I wrote about last week, America Needs Truth NOT Tolerance. Jesus gave us responsibility while we’re here on earth to speak the truth, live the truth, share the truth, vote the truth!

We are God’s voice and if we don’t use it wisely, we will be silenced. We are a nation of laws not ruled by men. We do everything by God’s laws first, then the Constitution, and we support and vote for people who understand that we are a republic of the people and for the people, not a democracy of the most powerful.

Words matter! Listen carefully. Learn diligently. Vote responsibly. Pray continuously. Do not be deceived.

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Eph. 6:10

There’s Hope for America Breaking Free From Demonic Paganism!

The title of last week’s blog was God Is Up to Something Big! That almost seems prophetic with the events of the past week and the answer to so many prayers with the SCOTUS “leak” that Roe v Wade will be overturned after the murder of over 63 million precious children in our country alone in the past fifty years since it became law. We should be rejoicing and not let victory be tainted by the way we heard about it that has set Democrats and pro-abortion advocates into a frenzy.

I want to preface this blog with a word to anyone suffering from the guilt of having an abortion and not yet asked and received the Lord’s forgiveness. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

My friend Pat Layton has a beautiful ministry Surrendering the Secret I would encourage you to look into. “A ministry designed to help women (and men) heal from the hurt of abortion. Abortion affects people of all walks of life. At STS we, provide resources for women that have had abortions, and opportunities for others to help support these women.” 

Paganism in America

I often read the Bible in a year. This year, I’m using the CBN.Com reading schedule where I read from the Old and New Testament each day. As I study, I see a stark resemblance to the world we’re living in today. No longer are we a country governed by our foundational Judeo-Christian beliefs, morals, fairness, and justice or even a belief in God We Trust.

We now have a political party in charge who worships nature through a false religion of climate control/change. Encourages mothers to murder their unwanted babies, censors and controls any dissention from their demented platform, and a President who calls anyone who is a patriot and believes in God, country, and the sanctity of life, “the most extreme political organization that’s ever existed in recent American history.”

Actually, Biden’s regime is the first administration in my lifetime who wants to destroy America, trash the Constitution, and turn us into a Marxist/Communist country. I would call that an “extreme political organization.”

When you look into the eyes of those who are demanding women have the demonic “right” to kill their unborn babies, even infanticide after birth, and who can’t define a woman and believe men can get pregnant, you see evil deception, greed, power, and pride.

Paganism! Hedonism!

King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, was also enticed by paganism, but the Lord saw everything just like He’s watching all the evil today, and He said there would be consequences to the king who once wisely saved a baby’s life. (1 Kings 3:16-28)

1 Kings 11:1-8 tells of Solomon’s downfall:

Now King Solomon loved many foreign women. Besides Pharaoh’s daughter, he married women from Moab, Ammon, Edom, Sidon, and from among the Hittites. 2 The Lord had clearly instructed the people of Israel, “You must not marry them, because they will turn your hearts to their gods.” Yet Solomon insisted on loving them anyway. 3 He had 700 wives of royal birth and 300 concubines. And in fact, they did turn his heart away from the Lord.

4 In Solomon’s old age, they turned his heart to worship other gods instead of being completely faithful to the Lord his God, as his father, David, had been. 5 Solomon worshiped Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech,[a] the detestable god of the Ammonites.

6 In this way, Solomon did what was evil in the Lord’s sight; he refused to follow the Lord completely, as his father, David, had done. 7 On the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem,[a] he even built a pagan shrine for Chemosh, the detestable god of Moab, and another for Molech, the detestable god of the Ammonites. 8 Solomon built such shrines for all his foreign wives to use for burning incense and sacrificing to their gods.

Chemosh was the name of the chief pagan god of the Moabites. Molech represents the most repulsive of acts in God’s sight, the ritual sacrifice of children to a pagan god. Just like abortion sacrifices children to the gods of pleasure, convenience, selfish ambition, and money.

I wonder if all the protestors, activists, and politicians demanding that abortion remain legal have ever watched the movie Unplanned where we see a callous doctor vacuum a fetus out of a mother’s womb. Or read about the tortures children experience during abortion when saline is injected in-vitro into their heart to stop it from beating or instruments used to tear the baby apart limb by limb in their mother’s womb. If you can stand to hear details, Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortion doctor, graphically described the procedure to Congress.

The tortured, burned, dismembered bodies of these babies are thrown into trashcans or sold for research. That’s the reality of abortion. Most people would be aghast if this atrocity happened to puppies, yet people and politicians are actually protesting that every woman should have the “right” to mercilessly kill their unborn child. Barbaric. Hedonistic ritualistic sacrifice of humans. Paganism!

I recently heard an abortion survivor at seven months share her story. She’s a beautiful woman who founded an abortion survivors’ organization. She has a family. She had a right to life just like every aborted child had a right to its life.

Biden in defense of abortion falsely claims “Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded, that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks? Is it quickening, like Aquinas argued?”

This is an outright lie when he knows his own Catholic “religion” vehemently opposes abortion. Actually, it doesn’t matter what “mainstream religions” say, it only matters that God says, “Thou shalt not kill!” Period. No discussion or rationalization. And with modern technology and science, we absolutely do know that human life begins at conception. Now we can hear the baby’s heartbeat and literally watch the child develop in the womb! We know a baby in the womb experiences fetal pain and has viability in the second trimester and in some cases even earlier.

When an interviewer asked Dr. Levatino to give a gestational timeframe for acceptable abortion, he responded, “You were always you!” In other words, NEVER!

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Jer. 1:5 NLT

While lobbying for abortion and not once condemning the “leak” or supporting SCOTUS, Biden said, “abort a child,” and then declared, “I believe I have the rights that I have not because the government gave it to me . . . but because I’m just a child of God: I exist.” Yes, Mr. President you exist with rights because your mother chose life and not death for you. But God does not give the right to murder. Every aborted child is a child of God with a right to exist! Using God in your defense of abortion is blasphemy and an abomination to our Great Creator. *

Let’s read on to see what God said to King Solomon about abandoning the Lord’s ways.

9 The Lord was very angry with Solomon, for his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. 10 He had warned Solomon specifically about worshiping other gods, but Solomon did not listen to the Lord’s command. 11 So now the Lord said to him, “Since you have not kept my covenant and have disobeyed my decrees, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your servants. 1 Kings 11:9-11 NLT

No one is fooled. The Democrats were behind the SCOTUS vile leak to rev up their base because the odds are against them in November and to take the focus off inflation, crime, rising food and gas costs, and the invasion at the border. They were ready with their protestors and speeches moments after the leak. They know they’re on a trajectory to lose “their kingdom” and long ago they discarded ethics, morals, and scruples. We saw that with the last election.

What Do We Do Now?

With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Ps. 108:13

1. We pray for wisdom of when and what to do and say. We pray for the safety and protection of the Supreme Court Justices and their families and that they don’t waiver under pressure but vote with integrity. We don’t stay silent in the face of deception and evil. We pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matt. 6:10)

2. We speak the truth and educate those who often don’t even know that they’re championing and protesting for mothers to kill their children.

3. We vote for anti-abortion, family-friendly truly Conservative Christian political representatives and do our homework before we vote. When abortion comes back to the states to vote, we’ll have our work to do all over again, especially if you live in blue states.

4. We support parents speaking out against the pornographic perverted sex and racist CRT taught in some schools today. I wrote more about this is my blog “They’re Coming for Our Children!”

When its age appropriate, children should be taught the biological fact that when a male sperm permeates a female egg a child results and it can happen the first time you have unprotected sex! That’s how babies are made. Don’t have sex unless you’re ready to take on that responsibility. I think it would be good for sex education to show videos of babies developing in the womb so that children won’t be deceived into thinking there’s not a real person with moving arms and legs and eyes, nose, and a mouth that smiles.

Kimberly Fletcher, founder of MomsforAmerica.us says parents need to teach their children the truth about abortion and that it is barbarically taking a life. Raise children to understand the difference between death and the value and sanctity of life. Understanding evil versus good should be taught in every home. Children are hearing lies and hyperbole and home should be a safe place to hear the truth and ask questions.

5. If you haven’t seen the movie Unplanned, watch it now to reaffirm your anti-abortion, pro-life conviction and recommend it to anyone you know who is pro-abortion, pro-death. Here’s the trailer.

6. Churches should offer counseling and ministries to provide hope and tangible help to women dealing with unplanned pregnancies. For those who have already had abortions, help them find spiritual healing that comes from seeking God’s forgiveness.

I’ll close with this story. On a panel show discussing the Roe leak, a liberal left Democrat who was distraught with the possible overturn of Roe spewed angrily, “What am I supposed to tell my daughters?!”

With those words, he epitomized the reality of what abortion has become to many, including parents, a form of accepted birth control.

I said to the TV screen, “You tell your daughters not to have promiscuous sex outside of marriage. You tell them don’t have unprotected sex unless you’re ready to have a baby. You remind them that sex is the beautiful way God created for a husband and wife to come together as one to give the gift of life to a child. You tell them abortion snuffs out a life.

They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood. Ps. 106:38

But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt. 18:6 NLT

When You Think You’re God!

There is only ONE God, though many think they can take His place!

“If you’re going to remain ‘god,’ you’re going to need a Devil to fight. Find an enemy, create a crisis, and stay in power.” Tucker Carlson said facetiously.

Such a smart statement and so true as we watch demigods or wannabe gods doing exactly what Tucker describes. When people are fearful, they tend to be more complacent and controllable. They’ll wear masks, even in the car by themselves, as they watch those enforcing the draconian rules party hardy without masks.

Biden’s Crises

Carlson was talking about Biden at the time whose regime continues to want to hang onto the Covid crisis mandates while it’s now obvious that masks and vaxing won’t prevent Covid and Covid numbers decline. But mandates have power.

And there’s always a new crisis to draw attention away from the last Biden catastrophe. We have the shipping and supply chain crisis and the hospital staffing crisis all created by the vaxing mandates. The crime crisis from government defunding the police and the loss of officers due to the mandates.

These crises led to the inflation crisis, caused by Biden appeasing the progressive left while he tells us from a teleprompter that yes, we’re going to have to sacrifice but he’s doing everything he can to alleviate the pain. The pain caused by his ego and pride that won’t let him admit he made a mistake closing the Keystone pipeline and taking America from energy independence to foreign dependence and begging our enemies to pump more oil for us!!

Forbes recently reported that since 2021, Russia is the United States’ top source of imported gasoline and other refined petroleum products. Lithium, one of the main ingredients in rechargeable batteries used in cars, phones, and other products, chiefly originates in China. 

Who intentionally does that when according to the American Petroleum Institute, we have enough oil in North America to fuel every single passenger car and long-haul truck for the next 430 years! We have enough natural gas to provide electricity for every business and household for the next 535 years and enough coal to provide electricity for about 500 years. Not to mention supplying our allies so they’re not dependent on Russia for energy.

Why then did Joe Biden sacrifice America’s energy independence, cease all exploration for oil and gas, abandon pipeline development, and drive up prices of gasoline, heating oil, and jet fuel and make us once again dependent on foreign enemy oil? 

With Europe and North America buying oil from Russia, we filled Putin’s coffers giving him more than enough money to finance this New Green Deal War currently against Ukraine created by AOC, Bernie Sanders, John Kerry, and yes, Joe Biden. We cutoff our own strength and gave it to Putin. When you create scarcity of fuel, you give opportunity to bad people when you also give them lots and lots of money. If we weren’t satisfying proponents of the NGD, we could put Russia out of the energy business and out of money. Instead, Biden has done the opposite. Combine this new wealth with Biden’s White House repeated catastrophes and mistakes like the Afghanistan debacle, Putin is emboldened.

Many experts have said the invasion of Ukraine could’ve been avoided by simply turning the fuel spigot back on in the USA, the one Biden closed on his first day in office putting thousands out of work, and also announcing that Ukraine would never be in NATO! But when asked why he doesn’t do any of these things, Biden just smiles and picks his teeth, while innocent civilians’ blood flows on the streets of Ukraine! And you know that Putin has his eye on more countries.

Everyone around Biden knew he wasn’t up to the job of President of the United States. I think he knew that himself. But from his earliest days, he made it clear his goal was to be President. Not for a noble goal of making America a better country but for making himself a resident of the White House, even though he leaves for home in Delaware every chance he gets.

We wouldn’t be in the impotent position with Putin as he invades Ukraine if we and much of Europe hadn’t become dependent on Russia for energy. What person in his right mind puts your country in that position and stays there?! Biden could change all that quickly, but instead, he embraces crises to stay in power and lives are lost.

Trudeau’s Crises

Trudeau was also trying to play God in Canada when he initiated The Emergencies Act and Martial Law because peaceful truckers were protesting the mandates he was ruthlessly enforcing. Then instead of negotiating with them like a true leader would do, he created another crisis by treating them like they were the enemy and arresting them, freezing bank accounts not only of the participating truckers but of anyone who supported them or even gave them a cup of coffee in the name of freedom.

Putin’s Crises

Why does Putin want to overtake Ukraine when his own people are protesting the invasion? He’s jailing anyone who isn’t in agreement. Lying, he tried to make Ukraine the enemy saying they were the aggressors and he was simply denazifing the country when everyone knew that wasn’t true, especially since Ukraine’s President is Jewish! Putin too has a god-complex and wants power, position, and prestige while stealing what doesn’t belong to him.

Pride. Ego. Control. Central themes in wannabe gods.

A Prophetic Word

It’s obvious that none of these men personally knows the One and Only true God of the Bible. Our God is kind, caring, and compassionate, while always just, fair, and omniscient. “God opposes the proud, but shows favor to the humble” (James 4:6). He wants peace and blessings for His people that He loves so dearly. But He also tells us to beware of the enemy and prayerfully suit up in our spiritual armor (Eph. 6:10-18) to take our stand against the inevitable evil.

I believe we’re actually watching prophecy fulfilled in our lifetime. The morning after the first attack on Ukraine, the Lord gave me Matt. 24:3-8.

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

I’m not the only one God spoke this to. Pastor Greg Laurie has a short video clip explaining how he sees prophecy occurring as more signs of Jesus’ return and the last days prophecies are happening closer and closer together. Plagues, tyrant leaders, wars. His reference is the same one the Lord gave me in Matthew 24 and Laurie also mentions Ezekiel 38, where Magog is thought to be modern-day Russia with Israel in its sights.

One of the things that has always baffled me over the years was that America is not mentioned in the last days. I always wondered how could that happen when we’re recognized as the world’s super power? How could America the Great suddenly disappear from the global picture? Well, watching the damage that Biden and his people have done to America in only thirteen months, I suddenly see how it could become reality.

Was Biden’s election all part of God’s endtimes plan? We know that everything God does has a purpose and He can work all things out for good in the end.

I don’t say this to frighten you, but like Pastor Laurie says at the end of the clip that I shared earlier, we need to be looking up! Not living in fear but living in anticipation as we see the time drawing closer and closer to the rapture.

Believers need to be sure that everyone we love and care about also knows the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. There’s no time to waste. No one knows the day or moment of Christ’s return, but He’s giving us so many clues that it could be soon. Take it seriously. What we’re watching now is only a small window into the horror of the tribulation and we don’t want anyone to have to go through that misery.

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. Matt. 24:36-44

Let’s continue praying for the people of Ukraine and for world leaders to realize they aren’t God, they’re elected to be shepherds and protectors of their people and seek God’s wisdom. They must surrender to God for guidance and direction as we watch God’s Word coming alive in our generation. It’s an exciting time and God chose us to be here at this moment in history. Pray to understand the role He wants you to take and then be sure you’re marching in the Lord’s army.

3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Eph. 4:3-6

Don’t Just Be an Admirer of Jesus Be a Follower!

In last week’s blog, Yes, You Can Be Biblical and Political, I mentioned that our Couples’ Group is studying Dr. David Jeremiah’s new book, Where Do We Go From Here? In Chapter One, “A Cultural Prophecy—Socialism,” Dr. Jeremiah had a section that resonated with my spirit, Resolve to Follow Christ and Not Just Admire Him! Take a minute to reflect on that concept.

What differentiates a follower of Christ from an admirer? Words we associate with a Christ-follower are self-sacrifice, service, surrender. We can observe outward reflections of a follower of Jesus by their life-style, countenance, choices, actions, language, inner joy, love, and willingness to profess their faith in Christ and belief in the Gospel at all times under all circumstances.

An admirer might be in awe of Christ as an example of a good and moral man and the sacrifice He made for us, but they’re not willing to actually follow in His footsteps. They claim to be a Christian, but they’re not willing to completely surrender their entire life to Jesus when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient. The fruit isn’t there. They may go to church every Sunday, serve on church committees, sing in the choir, take communion, and intellectually understand faith, but don’t let faith and the Bible define their life.

Dr. Jeremiah quotes Soren Kierkegaard who put it this way: “The admirer never makes any sacrifices. He always plays it safe. Though in words, phrases, songs, he is inexhaustible about how he praises Christ, but he renounces nothing, will not reconstruct his life, and will not let his life express what supposedly he admires. Not so for the follower. No, no. The follower aspires with all his strength to be what he admires.”

I think about Biden meeting with the Pope last week and claiming that the Pope told him he was a “good Catholic.” What does that mean anyway? Who determines what’s considered good? By whose standards?

Jesus doesn’t care if we’re a “good” Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian, non-denominational, or a member of any organized denomination. Following Jesus is not about a specific church, religion, theology, or doctrine. He’s looking for one thing in His followers: a changed and surrendered heart. Salvation. Have you given your whole heart to Jesus? Have you received the Holy Spirit? Do you live out your faith everywhere and anywhere? Are you willing to pick up your cross and follow Jesus?

Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. 24 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. Luke 9:23-24 NLT

3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3 NLT

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6. NLT

What It Looks Like to Follow Jesus

When we’re truly born again, we’re a new person. We’re granted a new life in Christ and everything changes, if we’re willing to be a follower and not just a sideline admirer of Christ. Paul explains the life of a Christian best in Colossians 3:1-11:

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your[a] life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. 6 Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.[b] 7 You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. 8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. 11 In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile,[c] circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized,[d] slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

Maybe Biden, who I’ve only ever heard speak of himself as a Catholic not a Christian, and liberal progressive Democrats who claim to be Christians, admire Christ but not enough to follow Christ and make the political sacrifice of turning the Democrat party away from supporting and financing the murder of babies! Not enough to acknowledge that God only made two genders. Not enough to admit that God said marriage is between a man and a woman. Not enough to stop lying! Not enough to surrender their life to Holy Jesus, instead of the idol of political power!

Any politician, regardless of party affiliation, who is willing to be a Christ-follower will be hated and persecuted by the world but he or she will not back down because they understand that their authority comes from the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, not the government, and they will govern accordingly.

Here’s how Jesus put it:  The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. John 15:19 NLT

Biblical Examples of Christ-Followers

In Everyday Brave: Living Courageously as a Woman of Faith, Chapter 17 “Brave Loyalty,” I offer examples of women willing to follow Christ no matter what the cost. Here is the opening to that chapter:

“In our current culture, it’s no longer cushy and easy being a Jesus-follower or loyally defending Jesus. Standing firm in our faith takes grit, determination, and fierce loyalty. When society tries to dissuade and discourage us from remaining true to Jesus, we must stand firm with bravery and courage, even it if means standing “alone”—God is always with us cheering us on.

Jesus was followed by many courageous women disciples, like Joanna, Susanna, and others who also went against the cultural norm to loyally support Jesus’s ministry, even as it became more and more controversial and his life, therefore theirs too, was in eminent danger. We can look to these women disciples as prime examples of faith and devotion to Christ and emulate them in our own lives as believing disciples today, regardless of daunting circumstances.”

Here’s a quick review of these women, which you can read about in Matt. 27:55-61; 28:1-10; Mark 15:33-16-8; Luke 8:1-3; 23:44-24:11:

Joanna was a wealthy woman accustomed to the glamour and prestige of living in Herod Antipas’s court as the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward and manager of his vast estate. When doctors couldn’t help her, she sought out Jesus who healed her and she became a devoted Jesus-follower joining a group of women who followed him on his journeys and financially supported his ministry. We don’t know what her husband or Herod thought of this, but she took the risk and joined Susanna and Mary Magdalene and a number of other women who traveled with Jesus during his ministry and became part of his inner circle.

These women bravely went against cultural norms to care faithfully for Jesus and the disciples. They selflessly gave of their time, energy, and resources to serve and support Jesus’s ministry, even though everyone knew the Pharisees threatened to expel Jesus’s followers from the synagogue. This didn’t deter them. They were committed Jesus-followers not mere admirers.

Current Example of Christ-Followers

If you’re not familiar with In-N-Out Burger, like Chick-fil-A, they are a Christian owned restaurant chain with Scriptures printed on all their cups and wrappers! I encourage you to read this article where the Jesus-follower owner, Lynsi Snyder, shares her faith and her testimony. Here’s the opening paragraph of the article: “In-N-Out Burger hasn’t necessarily been secretive about the fact that it’s a Christian establishment. It has printed John 3:16 on the bottom of its cups. However, like Chick-fil-A before it, the owner and heiress of the burger chain, Lynsi Snyder, is letting everyone know just how much Christ means to her publicly.“

Sometimes we need to engage in righteous rebellion. It is God and not the government that we obey when there is a moral conflict between the two. You may have read recently that several In-N-Out Burger restaurants in California were shut down because they refused to be vaccine police. Here is their statement:

“The reason for the closure is that In-N-Out Associates were not actively intervening by demanding COVID-19 vaccine or testing documentation and photo identification from each dine-in Customer before serving them. Rather than acting as enforcement agents, our Associates were allowing our Customers to be responsible for their own compliance with the divisive local regulations,” In-N-Out Chief Legal and Business Officer Arnie Wensinger said in a statement.

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant Associates to segregate Customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason,” Wensinger said in a statement.”

In a tweet the Chief legal and Business Officer also wrote:
“We fiercely disagree with any government that dictates that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronage their businesses. This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.”

We Must Live As Jesus-Followers, Not Mere Admirers!

I’ll leave you in closing with another quote from Dr. Jeremiah:

“To persevere in an increasingly socialist culture, you’re going to have to decide whether to be a Christ-follower or merely a Christ-admirer. . . . Set your mind fully on the hope you have in Christ, and be ready to pay any price, challenge any foe, and confront any lie for the sake of the Gospel . . . At any moment, Jesus Christ will descend from heaven for His people. We haven’t long to wait. But until then, we need to understand what the age requires—and we need to do what the Lord commands.”

When Christ returns . . .
the government will be on his shoulders. . . .
7 Of the greatness of his government and peace
    there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
    and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
    with justice and righteousness
    from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
    will accomplish this. Isa. 9:6-7 NLT

Yes, You Can be Biblical and Political

Have you ever considered that a large portion of the Bible is political?

Look at the names of some Books in the Bible: Judges, 1 and 2 Kings, and Romans.

The Bible is replete with stories of political leaders called and used by God to work with Him in advancing His kingdom on earth and biblical heroes who engaged in politics for the good of the people.

Moses opposed the political rulings of pharaoh and Moses’ persistence against unjust rulings eventually freed the Israelites from political bondage.

The Lord then raised up judges, some were very good and some were very bad, until eventually, the people had a bad King Saul, then a good King David, with many good and bad kings to follow.

Joseph, after many trials, was appointed to the political position of prime minister of Egypt saving the Egyptian people and his own family from a famine.

Esther could have stayed silent while a diabolical plot annihilated her people. But she rose to the occasion and got involved politically realizing she was born for such a time as this.

Daniel and his friends refused the mandates of the king to eat certain foods and later Daniel continued praying to God even when it was forbidden politically. God rescued him from the lion’s den and he went on to hold a prominent political position.

All the prophets boldly spoke out and warned against the impending doom and destruction awaiting the people by kings and politicians.

Nehemiah continued building the wall despite political opposition.

Paul was always taking a political stand against Roman magistrates. In Acts 16:22-24, the magistrates gave orders to beat Paul and Silas and imprison them for sharing the Gospel, but God redeemed their suffering and even the jailer and his family became Christians. Roman government officials were opposed to Paul but God always used it for good. Paul never backed down from calling out the political unjust laws and corruption that went against God’s laws.

John’s exile to Patmos by Roman politics gave us the book of Revelation.

Jesus NEVER cowered to the political opposition that plagued his ministry, even having a violent outburst in turning over tables of greed and corruption. He called out crooked and unjust politicians for their misdeeds and some like Matthew and Zacchaeus were saved.

Yes, the Bible is full of politics and I’ve only given you a few examples.

In the Introduction, Dr. Jeremiah, a modern-day pastor who understands the relevance of the Bible and politics, wrote what Christians must do: “We are not helpless, and our world is not hopeless. Even as the world collapses, the Lord is building His church. We can say something, do something, pray something, preach something, and live by the convictions of Christ.”

Remember what Peter and John said when confronted by unjust politicians who wanted to silence them in Acts 4:

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people! 9 If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 Jesus is “‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. 

18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

What the government tried to do to biblical heroes of the Bible like Paul, Peter, John, Silas, and Jesus they are trying to do to Christians right now and the Bible gives us the examples of what we need to do. Biblical love is deep in our heart but now we need to develop our inner courageous warrior that won’t back down or surrender to unjust political tyranny. We need to enlist and engage in the Lord’s army.

Christians Are Also Responsible American Citizens!

I love what Pastor Chuck Baldwin says in his article I Did Not Relinquish My Citizenship When I Became a Pastor. “One of the great fallacies in America today is the assumption that because one is involved in church ministry he is disqualified from being involved in political affairs. This is totally contrary to the values and principles that made this nation great. If one will read American history, he or she will discover that pastors and religious leaders had as much to do with fighting The War for Independence and bringing into existence this great republic as did the political figures of that day. Furthermore, most of the political figures in Colonial America were Christians.”

Did you know that fifty of the fifty-five men who signed the Declaration of Independence were faithful member of organized Christian churches?! Deeply religious Christian men incorporated godly principles into our Constitution. Baptist pastor John Leland was an abolitionist and instrumental in the Bill of Rights. Presbyterian pastor, John Witherspoon, and many other Christians were influential in the founding of freedom in America. They were political Christians who loved the Lord and loved their country enough to get involved.

Have you heard of the The Black Robed Regiment? January 21, 1776, John Muhlenberg climbed into his pulpit in Woodstock, VA to preach wearing the black clerical robe, the traditional dress of preachers in the 18th Century. He read from Ecclesiastes 3:8 “There is a time of war, and a time of peace.” Then he removed his clerical robe revealing a colonial officer’s uniform beneath. He stepped out of the pulpit and challenged the men of his congregation to join him in the fight for liberty.

And there were more black-robed pastors just like him who took a strong stand for liberty and encouraged their congregations not to settle for anything less. The Black-Robed Regiment had its historical beginnings during the Revolutionary War when pastors from across the colonies arose and lead their congregations into the battle for freedom. 

There are modern-day Black Robe Regiments and I read this commentary on one of their websites: The Black Robe Regiment of Pastors.
“Unlike today, the church during this time served as the center-point for political debate and discussion on the relevant news of the day. Today’s church leaders have all but lost that concept of leading their congregations in a Godly manner in all aspects of their worldly existence and are afraid to speak out against the progressive agenda that has dominated our political system for the past century. Through this time the church and God himself has been under assault, marginalized, and diminished by the progressives and secularists.  The false wall of separation of church and state has been constructed in such a manner that most are unaware of its limited boundaries. The church and the body of Christ has been attacked on all fronts and challenged by the progressive courts and groups such as the ACLU while we have sat idle in consent.”

Every pastor needs to put on his “black robe” and boldly and bravely preach the Spirit of Truth. Raising their flock up to courageously prepare the world for the return of Christ and not passively succumb to a regime that is trying to silence objection and remove freedom of speech. Because even as we watch many companies denying religious exemptions from the vaccine mandates, it won’t be long before they come after the Bible which describes as sin much of what the woke world is embracing right now.

A man in a dress was just named the first “woman” four-start admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

A boy in a skirt was allowed to go into a girls’ bathroom and brutally rape and sodomize a 14 year-old girl and the school covered it up until her father was arrested at a school board meeting for trying to talk about this travesty. The boy was transferred quietly to another school where he raped another girl!

But that poor father only trying to seek justice for his daughter at a school board meeting was used as an excuse to label parents as “domestic terrorists”!!

The President of the United States laughs off our freedoms as insignificant in his insane tyrannical vaccine mandates.

What Is God Doing?

Have you wondered why God would let us come under the jurisdiction of such an evil corrupt administration? I’ve prayed about that and given it a lot of thought and there are those I respect who agree with me that God is unearthing the deep dark swamp as the world watches the un-American way they’re governing. I have to think that many of those who voted for Biden must be seeing the truth about him because they’re paying the same price at the gas tank as we are. They’re losing their jobs if they don’t get the jab. Their stores have empty shelves and they’re watching their grocery bill climb. Their kids are forced to wear masks at school. They can’t ignore the travesty and tragedy of Afghanistan and on and on.

The devil is overreacting thinking he’s got us now so he’s not trying to be coy or sly. But he underestimates the wisdom and discernment of God’s people.

Granted there are many who hated President Trump so much they would never admit the horror we’re watching come out of the White House every day. Sadly, I know of Christians who have been blinded, though it’s hard to imagine how they can’t see the reality that bumbling Biden is not capable of leading our country. There are handlers from the Obama administration and probably Obama himself who are pulling all the strings. But many are seeing the truth along with Independents.

If President Trump had won in 2020, the deep dark forces would’ve continued their devious efforts to make it difficult, if not impossible, for him to be successful in accomplishing what our country needs and deserves from a President. So maybe what we’re enduring is the Lord’s way of cleaning house in Washington DC.

Pastors and Christians must be willing to participate in a righteous rebellion against the affront on our Constitutional and religious freedoms the left is attacking. The Religious Restoration Act does not require us to legally prove our faith, but we do need to spiritually prove our faith with our actions.

Pastor David Jeremiah warned in Where Do We Go From Here? “Hopefully, we’ll be able to continue as law-abiding citizens of our various nations, but anytime the government tries to force us to violate our biblical beliefs, we have a responsibility to speak up.”

Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority. Acts 5:29 NLT

Never underestimate the power of the church and of prayer! Be sure you’re in a church that prays together and mentors you in how to be a witness for Christ in a culture that wants to eliminate Him. Jesus can change society for good through his faithful people with a sense of civic responsibility who are strategically placed in neighborhoods, cities, counties, states, and the nation.

There are also currently Christians in Congress, Senate, Governors, local legislators and more will be running for office next year. They are biblical and political and praise God, they’re going into the Lion’s den to protect our liberty and freedom. We need to pray for them because they’re under spiritual and political attack. They need our support.

Plato noted, “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” 

With your help I can advance against a troop[a];
    with my God I can scale a wall.

31 “As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
    he shields all who take refuge in him.
32 For who is God besides the Lord?
    And who is the Rock except our God?
33 It is God who arms me with strength[b]
    and keeps my way secure.
34 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
    he causes me to stand on the heights.
35 He trains my hands for battle;
    my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 2 Sam. 22:30-35

America Has Forgotten Its First Love!

When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan. Pr. 29:2 NLT

The word wicked means those who are morally wrong, hostile to God, anti-God and that describes many who are in authority today in our country.

A country that denies God as its Creator and moral Compass is headed for doom and disaster.

Our founding fathers knew that and so they based the Constitution and Bill of Rights on biblical godly principles. They were men who went before the Lord seeking His guidance. Our country was established on Judeo/Christian values that recognize God created the earth, He created each of us, and people who honor their Creator will succeed. Those who try to deny God and go against the laws of God will fail miserably.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen. 1:1 NLT

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Gen. 1:27 NLT

I always laugh at the term “climate control.” Man doesn’t control the climate, God does. Man can barely attempt to predict the weather. But man has no say over when it rains or when there’s a drought or hurricane or the sun comes up in the morning and the moon at night.

Only God knows when He will say it’s time to end the world as we know it. Only God!

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,, but only the Father. Matt. 24:35-36

Many have foolishly tried to play God or give the impression that they had godly powers, always for personal gain, but eventually they’re unveiled as the charlatans they are.

America Has Forgotten Its Identity is in Christ Alone!

Last week Jason Whitlock, a black Christian sports journalist, podcaster, and host for Blaze Media for the show Fearless with Jason Whitlock, appeared on the Tucker Carlson show and clearly put into perspective what’s happening in our country today. Here’s what he said:

“We should be taking our identity in Christ not in skin color. Not in these superficial things your sexual preference or your gender identification. All of these identities have taken precedent over what used to be our primary identity: Are you a believer? Are you a Christian? Once you identify as that, now I can see the commonality between Tucker Carlson and Jason Whitlock.” [Tucker nods his head in agreement and says “Right”]

Jason continues, “We’re both believers. We’re both Christians. We both love our country. Those things that unite us they’re telling us to disavow and embrace things like skin color and sexual orientation, gender identity, those things that separate us they want us to lean into and lean away from God. That’s the mistake we’re making here in this country.” 

Jason gave a sermon right there! And who is the “they” he’s referring to trying to divide us? I wrote about them last week in my blog: We’re No Longer One Nation United Under God. It’s those on the left, including Biden and his administration, who want to turn America into a Marxist/Communist country. The only way they can succeed is to create division among the population and denounce and marginalize Christian Conservatives and our beliefs. They want to deny God!

Jesus wrote about what happens when a church forgets its first love. Imagine what’s going to happen to a country that forgets its first love!

4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.” Rev. 2:4-5

Removing the lampstand from a church meant that they would fail as a church. That’s exactly what’s going to happen to our country if we forget our first love, Jesus Christ. America will fail.

We’re Watching Authoritarianism Replace Democracy in America

The latest attempt is to silence parents protesting in School Board meetings about the racist, sexual deviant content of what their children are being taught and the fascist attempt to mask all children and even force them to be vaccinated, which has already started in California.

Biden has made it clear the government is coming for our children by characterizing parents who want to have a voice in what their children are being taught as potential domestic terrorists, when it’s the government using a fascist game plan to suppress opposition and take over our country.

I hope that parents aren’t intimidated and continue to take a stand for protecting their children from indoctrination and harm. Don’t let the government have your children. Be respectful and passionate but let your voices be heard. God’s word, not the government, is the final authority and benchmark on how parents are to raise their children.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Pr. 22:6 NKJV

Next, the Biden administration wants the IRS to monitor every person’s bank account over $600! Oh, and that will require 80,000 new IRS employees, but of course only those who’ve been vaccinated. They want to know if you buy a new couch or computer or sell something on EBay! They’re not going after tax fraud in big business and the wealthy; they’re scrutinizing the middle class struggling to survive or spying on where you give donations.

The left think they’re clever the way they hijack the conversation and come up with their own definition of terms. Justice is really revenge. Equity disguises discrimination. Public safety justifies mandates. Women’s health legalizes murder. Their main goal is to control words and repeat them enough until we start using their words and thoughts too. We must not let that happen.

3 Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. 2 Peter 3:3 NLT

So What Do We Do?

We keep close to God by reading His Word DAILY and praying asking what He wants us to do. He has a plan for each of us. We were all born for such a time as this.

I’ve said many times that God has a purpose for you and me. You’ll not experience fear or frustration when you feel like you’re doing something to make a difference.

“When people quit talking to God, they quit talking to one another. And people who quit talking to God soon get very lonely and depressed. They are actually lonely for God, hungering for communion with Him, yearning for His close love and nearness; but instead of recognizing these needs as spiritual, they blame their lack of fulfillment on their husbands or wives.” ― David Wilkerson

While it’s terribly infuriating and makes us even angry to watch the damage our current administration is doing to our country and our world relations, they are showing their hand clearly and God told us this would happen.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-5 we read, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God–having a form of godliness but denying its power. “

Gather together with those who love the Lord like you do for encouragement and support, but also use whatever platform the Lord gives you to share Jesus with those who don’t know Him. Like Jason Whitlock, look for open doors to explain why you can still smile and be hopeful in the midst of the turmoil and chaos we see all around us.

I end conversations and encounters with everyone and anyone cheerfully saying, “Have a blessed rest of your day.” It’s amazing the responses I receive, all positive. Some seem a little surprised but say thank you. Others reply, “You have a blessed day too!”

Remember we don’t belong to some secret society! Just the opposite! Jesus came to earth that all might be saved and He told us not to hide our light but to let it shine brightly for all to see.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:14-16

That’s exactly what Jason Whitlock did on public TV and it’s what we can do in our private life.

Interesting that the prophet Isaiah could’ve been talking about America when he wrote,

I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the Lord. Isaiah 43:11-12 NLT
